I wake up with Ichika hugging me like a body pillow. Her arms are tightly embracing me, her somewhat large breasts pressing on my body.

‘Akira…I love you so much…’ she’s mumbling in her sleep.

I hear some giggles and get up as much as I could. Sakuya and Assaf-sensei have already woke up, and they’re both taking out their phones and pointing it towards us.

‘Um, Ichika? You better wake up right now.’ I tell her.

Ichika mumbles something which I failed to catch. I try to break free from her hug, but she’s way stronger than I am.

I look at the 2 who’re taking videos of us.

‘A bit of help here?’ I plead.

‘Come on, Akira-kun. Just let her hugs you some more.’ Sakuya says.

‘That’s right. Where’s the harm in it?’ Assaf-sensei adds.

It’s no use. They’re having way too much fun to help.

At this moment, Yui wakes up from her sleep. She lets out a huge yawn and rubs her eyes. Finally. Someone I could count on.

   ‘Yui, help!’

She looks over here and grasps the situation immediately. She gets up from her futon at once.

   ‘Coming!’

She tries to pull away Ichika’s arms, but fails. Next, she tries to shake her shoulders while telling her to wake up.

‘Kurogane-san, please wake up! It’s already morning!’ Yui shouts at Ichika’s ear.

It took her a few minutes of pulling and shouting to wake Ichika up. This surprise me since I’ve always thought Ichika could wake up on her own.

Ichika slowly opens her eyes. She then turns her head towards my direction. Seeing that she has woken up, Yui stops her pulling and shouting.

‘Hey, Ichika. Good morning.’ I tell her calmly.

   ‘Oh, good morning, Akir-’

She was about to greet me back when she realizes that she’s been hugging me. She immediately releases me while blushing furiously.

‘M-M-M-M-M-My apologies Akira! I always had bad sleeping posture, which is why I did that!’

‘No, it’s fine. Don’t worry about it.’

I suddenly had a feeling that this is the reason she refused to sleep with me back at her family’s dojo.

Seeing that Ichika’s awake, Sakuya and Assaf-sensei quickly put their phone away. Sakuya puts her index finger in front of her lips and winks at me.

I get up from the bed and look around. Even though it’s still dark outside, I could still see clearly enough.

Madoka has waken up as well. It was probably due to Yui’s shouting.

‘Morning.’ she mumbles to no one in particular.

Mashiro is the only one who’s still sleeping. Yui proceeds to wake her up as well. As for me, I go to the kitchen and start preparing breakfast. As a token of apology, Ichika is helping me out, even though I keep telling her that I don’t mind her hugging me at all.

Since there are 2 people cooking, we manage to cook enough breakfast for everyone.

‘By the way, Yui. Did you somehow tell your parents that you’re staying the night outside?’ I ask while we’re eating.

‘Yes, I’ve messaged my mother before I went to sleep just now.’

   ‘Any reply from her?’

‘Well, she told me not to come back home until I’m pregnant with your child…’ Yui says while blushing.

I almost choke on my egg when I heard that.

‘Do you want us to leave the room for a while?’ Sakuya asks me.

   ‘What? No!’

‘Or better yet, make one with me.’ Assaf-sensei says while batting her eyelashes at me.

   ‘Sensei, a wholesome relationship, remember?’

Drat, this is getting tiresome. Usually, Ichika would help me out, but she’s so overcome with guilt right now she’s not saying anything. The 2 succubi use this chance to their full advantage.

‘Say, Yui. Does your parents know about our…relationship?’ I ask Yui in an attempt to change the subject.

‘I’m not sure. The 2 of them knows that I’m very close with you, but I don’t know whether they know the fact that you’re…well…’

   ‘I see.’

   I look at Ichika.

‘I am not sure about mine either.’

   ‘Hmm…’

Honestly, I’m still too much of a coward to go talk to my girlfriends’ parents and tell them that I’m multi-timing their daughter along with a few others. This isn’t something you can just bring up.

‘Did Principal Morifuji said something to you before, Sakuya-senpai?’ I ask Sakuya.

   She shakes her head.

‘We didn’t really talk about our private life. Whenever we see each other, it’s only for business purposes. It was either matters regarding the Academy, or Destroyer activity.’

   ‘How professional.’

‘It’s hardly that. It’s…well, we barely talk about anything else.’

‘Um, I know I’m not really reliable. However, please consult me if you’re feeling down or needs someone to talk to. I’m your boyfriend, after all.’

   Sakuya smiles warmly at me.

‘Thank you for worrying about me. And you’re quite reliable, you know? In fact, father was thinking of recommending you to be the next student council president.’

This time, I almost choke on my bacon.

   ‘W-What?’

‘It’s true. He told me that you have the potential to be a leader, so he think it’s better if you got used to it while you’re still a student.’

‘Hold on, senpai! Even if it’s true, aren’t the current student council president in charge of appointing his or her successor?’

‘That’s right. And I agree with him.’

I almost pointed out that she’s being bias since I’m her boyfriend and all, but I was very close to insult her. There’s no way that Sakuya will be bias.

I look at Ichika. ‘And you’re fine with it?’

She merely shrugs. ‘Why not? It is not a requirement that every vice president must inherit the seat of the previous president. Furthermore, I agree with the 2 of them.’

‘You would look dashing in a cape.’ Assaf-sensei says.

‘Um, we’re talking about the student council president, right? Not an emperor?’

‘It’s definitely fun to rule over others, Akira.’ Mashiro says.

‘Again, I’m not being appointed to become an emperor.’

‘Just so you know, you’re the 12th most trusted student in this Academy.’ Madoka informs me.

‘Out of how many students, exactly?’

   ‘1,271.’

   ‘That’s…quite a high ranking.’

‘They never say it outright, but a lot of students actually look up to you, Akira-kun.’ Yui tells me.

   ‘Huh. That’s really surprising.’

‘Is it?’ Madoka asks me. ‘After all you did?’

‘Excalibur is safe within the vault inside the Academy thanks to you. It was your plan that allowed us to defeat the Vampire Destroyers. You’re the one who noticed Albanese was acting weird. You stopped a mass necromancy-’

‘By turning the perpetrator into your personal sex slave.’ Assaf-sensei interrupts.

‘Sensei, please mind your phrasing.’ I ask plead.

‘You also stopped a coup staged by the traitors of the Roman Catholic Church.’ Madoka concludes. ‘It’s a no-brainer that your popularity is off the chart.’

A little bit of side-tracking here, since the Church was mentioned. Albanese told me that the Pope has finally confronted the 3 other denomination who were planning to dethrone him along with Justin Anthony, the leader of the Eastern Orthodox Church who was not part of the coup.

Naturally, the perpetrators denied any involvement in the coup, and demanded them to show proof before making accusations. Since Morcos has escaped there’s no proof to be shown. In the end, the confrontation got nowhere.

Back to the topic at hand. Seriously, what the heck is going on? Even Yuuji wasn’t offered this chanc-

Suddenly, lots of images related to Yuuji appears in my mind.

Yuuji peeking inside the girls’ changing room. Yuuji trying to sneak into the women’s bath. Yuuji spending his 3 months worth of allowance to buy porn online. Yuuji constantly flirting with random female students even though the girls in his harem are still waiting for his reply.

   …Right. So that’s why he wasn’t recommended.

‘Before you say anything, Akira-kun, I want you to know that you shouldn’t accept the offer just to look cool in front of us or impress my father. To put in bluntly, we can’t have someone who’s not determined to take up the responsibility to become the student council president. There’s still time, so think carefully about it.’

   I nod seriously. ‘I understand.’

We soon finish our breakfast, and our time for small talk is over. It’s time to talk about our mission once again. Sakuya starts the conversation by dropping a bomb.

‘I was thinking we should visit the Prime Minister.’ she says.

I guess it does makes sense. The lab is protected by 4 countries. Not even the Academy has enough authority to barge in without getting kicked out.

‘So, are we supposed to make appointment first?’ I ask.

‘That’s right. Let’s go see my father. He would know what to do.’

So we got changed into our uniform and head to the principal’s office. Even though today is Saturday, Principal Morifuji the workaholic is working anyway. His secretary, Tamai-san is at her desk as usual.

‘Good morning, Tamai-san.’ Sakuya greets the secretary.

‘Oh, good morning to you too, Sakuya-san. Are you here to see your fa- I mean, the principal?’

‘Yes. Does he has the time for visitors?’

‘I suppose so, since he’s only here to sort out documents today. I’ll go tell him that you want to see him.’

   ‘Please do.’

Once we’re inside, I see mountains of documents on his table. However, Principal Morifuji doesn’t look fazed at all, and he has the look of someone who can do this all day.

‘Good morning, principal.’ Sakuya says to her father formally.

‘Good morning, Morifuji-kun.’ he greets back with the same level of formality.

‘Are the 2 of you really father and daughter?’ Assaf-sensei asks all of a sudden. ‘I’ve seen a better relationship between an old-fashioned Chinese father and his daughter.’

Principal Morifuji looks at her with a vexed expression.

‘I’m sure you would know, since you’ve been living for so long.’

He said the last few words with extra emphasis.

‘My, my. Someone’s tongue has become sharp.’

I look at Assaf-sensei. She’s smiling, but she sure looks like she wants to tear him apart from limb to limb, boss or no. Something tells me these 2 had a very bad history with each other.

To do something about the tense atmosphere, Sakuya states her business for coming here. She starts by telling him there has been thousands of homeless people missing since a few months ago. Then, she tells him about Amaya-san’s request for being the guards for her family’s party, and the slip up Hasegawa had during the party.

She also tells him about the meeting between the Yamagata couples and the researchers from the lab, and the conversation they had.

Lastly, she tells him about our plan to visit the Prime Minister so that we could get his permission to raid the lab’s HQ, since the government of 4 countries are protecting the lab.

‘Very well. I’ll inform him at once.’ he says once Sakuya’s done talking.

Wait. Did he just said inform him? Not his secretary or whoever that’s in charge of this kind of thing?

Principal Morifuji picks up the tube of the telephone in front of him and dials a number. He then waits until the call connects.

‘It’s me. My students would like to come over to your place to have a talk with you.’

‘Yes, I know it’s Saturday. No, it can’t wait. It’s quite a serious matter.’

‘Good. You better be there when they arrive, or you’ll hear it from me again. That is all.’

He puts back the tube to its original place. ‘It is done. You may go visit him right now.’

I blink in surprise. Not only does Principal Morifuji has the private number that belongs to the Prime Minister of Japan, he was speaking casually while talking to him. What’s more, he even threatened him. I have so many questions.

Sakuya bows at the principal. ‘Well then, we will be taking our leave, principal.’

Principal Morifuji nods. ‘Good luck, everyone.’

The rest of us follow Sakuya’s lead. Well, everyone except for Assaf-sensei.

After we leave the office, I could finally breath normally. It was so nerve-wrecking.

‘There was no need for you to be so nervous, Akira-kun. He did said he approve of our relationship.’ Sakuya tells me.

‘Doesn’t make it any less nerve-wrecking for me.’

‘Um, was the principal acquainted with the Prime Minister?’ Yui asks Sakuya the question I wanted to ask. ‘The way he spoke to him was rather casual.’

‘Yes, they are. In fact, they used to join the same kendo dojo.’ Sakuya answers.

Wow. Imagine being a kendo student with the guy that ended up being the prime minister of a country.

I look at Assaf-sensei. ‘What about you, sensei? Your relationship with the principal seems rather hostile.’

‘Well, we’ve fought a few times when he was around your age.’ she answers. ‘He never managed to win against me. I assume that he’s still bitter about it.’

‘Wait. He never won against you? That Principal Morifuji?’

‘Do remember that he wasn’t as skilled as he is right now all those years ago.’

‘But I’m pretty sure he was fairly strong back then.’

‘Oh, he was. I’ll at least give him that much credit. And yet, you were the one who ended up defeating me. You should be proud of it.’

I recall the way I defeated her.

‘Can you even call that a win?’

‘Of course you can. A win is a win, you know. And as a reward, you got me as a prize.’

Assaf-sensei attempts to hug me, but I push her back by placing my palm on her forehead.

‘We’re in a public place, sensei.’ I remind her. ‘People might see us.’

She shows me a mischievous smile.

‘Does that mean I could snuggle up to you all I want if we’re inside your room?’ she asks.

Drat, I just dug my own grave. I sigh in resignation.

   ‘Fine.’

I notice that the rest of my girlfriends are looking at me expectantly.

‘Yes, you girls can do it too.’ I add.

They look very happy after I said that.

‘Now that that’s out of the way, let us depart to the Prime Minister’s office~!’ Sakuya says while raising her fist skyward.

‘How are we going there? By hitching a ride?’ I ask.

   Mashiro raises up her hand.

‘I’m sorry, Mashiro-chan, but no magics are allowed to be used near the PM’s office.’ Sakuya tells her.

Mashiro puts her hand down while looking a little disappointed.

   ‘So, a van?’ I ask.

Sakuya nods in agreement. ‘A van.’

‘Well, you kids go have fun meeting the PM. I’ll be waiting inside Akira-kun’s room.’ Assaf-sensei tells us.

I raise my eyebrow. ‘You’re not coming with us, sensei?’

‘I would love to. I really do. Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure that our beloved PM was already alerted to the mischief I pulled in the past and is more than happy to have me arrested, even though I’m a staff here.’

‘I see. And why are you planning to wait for us inside my room?’

She looks at me innocently. ‘Cause I lost my room keys?’

‘Right, right. Well, just don’t make a mess of my room, please.’

   ‘Got it.’

And so, we have a staff from the Academy to drive us to the PM’s office. Surprise, surprise, that staff turned out to be Greg.

‘You know how to drive, Greg-san?’ I ask him when I found out that he’s our driver.

‘Yes. I was shown how. Don’t worry, I have a legitimate driver’s license.’ Greg assures me.

‘Well, if you say so.’ I say while getting inside the van.

After all of us got inside, Greg turns on his GPS and drives the van towards the PM’s office.

‘How is your job so far, Greg-san?’ I ask the Destroyer.

‘It’s much better than all the previous jobs I had.’ he answers. ‘I mean, this one pays well, provides meal and accommodation, and most importantly all my coworkers know of my true identity but still don’t shun me.’

   ‘Good for you, Greg-san.’

   ‘Yes. Thank you.’

Unlike Amaya-san, Greg isn’t really interested in my private life. Even though he had the look of someone with lots of questions when he saw me with my girlfriends, he didn’t ask me any of them.

Eventually, we reach the PM’s office.

The place is surprisingly small and humble. Sure, it’s surrounded by walls and everything and has armed guards equipped with assault rifles, but the office itself is the size of a small apartment you can find in suburb areas.

We get down from the van and thank Greg for the ride. After he leaves, we go to the security checkpoint and state our business.

‘The Prime Minister has been expecting you.’ the guard who questioned us says after we let our identities be known.

He turns round and signals his comrade to open the gate.

   ‘Go right in.’

   ‘Thank you.’

A middle-aged man is standing inside the office while waiting for us. He’s all dressed-up in the usual business suit and long pants and a tie.

   He smiles warmly at us.

‘Welcome, students of the Royal Blade Academy.’ he says to us.

Yup. He’s Shindou Hiraoka, the Prime Minister of the fictional Japan in the anime.

Sakuya bows at him. ‘Our apologies for making you come outside jut to greet us, Prime Minister-san.’

‘No need to apologize. I have to do it myself since my secretaries are not working today.’

‘Speaking of which, we would also like to apologize for making you come to the office on non-working day.’

‘Again, no need to apologize. Agito told me that it’s a serious matter, so I guess I better listen to what you have to say. Before that, let us go inside.’

   ‘Yes.’

He brings us to a guest room with 2 long leather sofa that’s facing each other. He sits on one side, and the rest of us sits on his opposite side.

‘Oh, where are my manners? I should be serving you tea.’ he says after we sit down for a while.

‘There’s no need for that, sir. We’re only here for a while.’ Sakuya declines.

‘Well, if you say so. Now then, to what honor do I owe the pleasure of having all of you visit me?’

Sakuya tells him the same thing she told the principal. After she’s done, PM Shindou has a grave look on his face.

‘If what you said is true, we might have a war on our hands. After all, Ryuuouji Bio Lab is under the protection of 4 countries.’ he says.

‘Is there any way of getting inside without offending any of the 4 countries?’ I ask him.

‘I’m afraid not, especially if all 4 of them are strong in military might even on their own. Now that I know even Lost Children is involved, the situation is even worse.’

‘I’m not trying to sound overconfident or pompous, but should we decide to charge in anyway and somehow manage to wreck the lab, will you be able to ensure that we will not suffer backlash from them?’

‘Hmm, I guess I could do it with the help of other countries who are not involved in protecting the lab. Mind, you would need evidence that they are indeed conducting inhumane experiments.’

‘We can manage that much.’ I tell him confidently.

‘Very well, then. I will now have a meeting with them and tell them of the situation. Hopefully, they will back us up.’

And with that, he excuses himself and goes to his office.
