At dawn, Anna woke up from her sleep. She starting to get ready to go out to find the gift her sister wanted, She wearing black hood robe and little leather bag At her waist. She looked a while to Astra, who was still asleep in bed, before going out.

   Okay, let's be optimist today. We must to be able get it for my beloved Astra... I clench my fists and stared focus forward myself. 

   I then start walking to the town Woods, a town located on the riverbank and about 1 hour in south from where I live. It was the closest town I knew because most other towns would take a day. Even the closest distance beside town Woods is town Timberpeak. It is located in the north where I live, and it was a half-day journey. 

    After a while, I saw a large white wall that had a semicircular shape, and the other side was a river with a wall height about half the size of an adult pine tree. I also saw many boxes of goods being lifted from the ship and people passing by the gates and the town port. Seeing that, I finally arrived at the town of Woods.    

Finally... I have arrived, and the sun is also starting to rise. Let's go hurry to get some food first before the town will become busier

   Although there are several guards, the city security here is not too tight. They will only check the carts or cargo ships that will enter and exit this Woods town. 

   Luckily, I did not see anyone wearing a brown robe with green patterns followed by tree ornaments. Because they are followers of the Earth Goddess and this city is within the territory of the Earth Goddess 

phew... as long as there are no followers of that shit Goddess, it should be safe for now

   I started to put my hood on my head to cover my snow-like hair and then walked through the city gate...

   Many of the houses are made of brick and it looks like masonry? What I know for sure is that the building is stronger than our damaged wooden house.   

And as usual, that Goddess loves to build statues or whatever art of herself. So disgusting...

   I swear for the love of Astra... In almost all parts of this street and town, I will definitely see her sculptures, sometimes even murals on the walls often. She is described as A young woman, maybe 3 years older than me, and exuded a noble aura. Then, her green hair with purple eyes smiles like a mother, it disgusts me...   

   If they knew what their goddess was like at that time, I think they would immediately destroy everything about the goddess...

   After looking around for a while in Woods Town, I then went to the small alleys to look for leftover food that was still good for us to eat later... 

"Alright, here and... done. Finally, I got some bread after looking around for a long time; luckily, this bread is still good." 

"Okay, let's check my small bag again what I've got" 

"2 Potatoes, 1 bread, and 1 cabbage... well I think that's enough, let's go look for honey now" 

   I then went out from the small alleys and carefully went towards the town gate, but unfortunately. 

Bruk… while on my way, I accidentally bumped into a man around 20 years with gray hair and green eyes, and wearing a black coat. This happened because the busy road made me bump into him, It seems like people's around here want to see the arrival of troops in port? 

Whatever, let's find my food first and run away I see my bag that I was carrying before now dropped its contents. 

Oh shit! my food... I mutter while hurries collecting the food again, worried that my stomped around crowded road

   When I was about to pick up the bread on the ground, the bread had been held by that man first.

"Are you okay, sweet girl? Let me help you" 

The man with a friendly voice then took the food and give it to Anna 

"Here is your food, sweet girl" 

"Uhm... t-thank you... Sir, then excuse me." Come on, Anna, why are you nervous? Now let's get out of here quickly before anyone finds out 

"Wait a minute girl!" 

Hap!... My eyes widened in horror and my chest was pounding when I saw that man holding my hand quite tightly. 

Dammit, did I get caught?! 

" Don’t go yet, I saw…"

Shit, shit… forgive me, Astra, it seems like me... 

“…Your food was dirty and looked not fresh”

..can’t meet you… eh, what?!... what did that man say earlier?

“Let me replace that food, girl”

“ah..ehm...that..eh...no need sir” calm down please, don’t panic and stutter. Otherwise I’ll get caught because of strange attitude, take a deep breath and exhale, phew…

“Okay, there was bread, 2 potatoes and 1 cabbage.. the total that are 20 copper coins, I’ll give you a little extra 10 coins as my apology” The man handed the 30 copper coins to Anna

“Eh..erm.. okay… th-thank you” Wow… there are so many coins but the problem is… I DON’T KNOW THE PRICE OF EACH FOOD BECAUSE I ALWAYS SCAVENGING FOODS, sigh... never mind, I will find out later.

“Oh yeah.. just think of this as an additional gift for you” Cling… The man took out a black rope necklace tied to a black star iron ornament and handed it to Anna

“Err.. that... is it okay if I accept it? It looks like something very valuable”

“It’s okay, just wear it. Moreover, the necklace suits you."

“Then… I’ll take it” I took the necklace and put it on my neck Wow, it feels different wearing it… so this is what it feels like to be rich hehe..

“Okay, then I’ll take my leave, girl. I hope you like the gift” The man then walked towards the crowd and disappeared among them 

Sigh… today was quite unexpected, but I think everything went fine, right? Even though I am still curious about who he is was, I feel familiar with him but he had already disappeared.

 Okay, let's move faster now before the troops that people said earlier come. It would be dangerous if they was actually the Goddess' knight army not Mercenary troops  

 I am gonna go to the store now, buy fresh bread first and then go to forest at back of our house to find for honey. Wait for me Astra, your lovely sister have wonderful gift hmm~♪

  Anna started visiting nearby stores with a smile that wasn’t just a curve of her lips, but a warm, genuine glow that reached her eyes, making them dance with joy. It was the kind of smile that made the world seem brighter and every moment a little bit better.

    However, from a distance at the port gate, a male knight's body quivered, his muscles tightening with a faint unease. Sweat traced a path down his temple, his heart quickening as he gazed at that figure. An inexplicable sense of familiarity tugged at him, a haunting echo of something just out of reach after seeing Anna going inside the shop...
