The queen of Inscetoia sits on her imposing throne.

The throne was put on a giant king beetle.

The beetle had scratches from years of war.

It's broken horn was replaced with a steel one.

It let the queen look down on anyone with an air of intimidation.

Well, that was true for the previous queen.

The current one..........not so much.

What seems to be a 16 year old girl is on the throne.

She’s wearing a green dress made of silk.

Two slightly large ladybugs tie her hair into twin tails.

While the guards around her are covered in insects both inside and outside.

She only has a few so far, two queen ants and three queen bees that have yet to lay eggs.

Anyone looking at her will just see a normal girl.

The girl looks down at a visitor.

Which she gets many of.

A man in armor kneels in front of her.

The queen sighs very deeply.

"oooh sir knight.....can you like....um do this quest for me.....or whatever...or don't.....I don't really fucking care..."(Queen)

The girl loses any semblance of care after the first word.

She lays down lazily on her throne.

The man stands up.

"Yes, my queen! I promise you I shall save your people!"(???)

"I don't care!!! I don't care!! do whatever you want!! just leave me alone!!!!!!"(Queen)

The Queen turns around and hugs her legs while laying down.

The man in armor shoots a look at the guards.

None of them react.

This seems to be normal for her.

The knight in armor is a young man with the name Leon.

After many years he finally got the title of Knight.

Given to him by Baroness Emily. 

With a sword in artificial hand, he will prove himself worthy of the title by completing quests-

You step out of the engine carriage and stand on the dead soil.

An air of death seems to be coming out of the cracks of this city.

You stand still for a while and take it all in.

You're in front of what seems to be the entrance to the city.

There is no door or anything but there are some people standing around it.

They’re all wearing black suits.

Half of them are dwarves and the other are beastmen.

Atlas comes out to talk to them.

They all seem to know who he is and act respectfully towards him.

While he's doing that you check with your party.

Ruby is examining the city from outside.

A mischievous look is in her eyes, it seems Ruby is getting some ideas of things to do here.

Kay is just sitting down on the steps of the carriage.

She's watching Atlas's workers unloading their drugs.

She's also watching Marcel who is taking full advantage of this to check out all the drugs they have.

While staring at Marcel haggling with a worker to get as much as they possibly can you notice some movements!

A man wearing a trenchcoat with an X on their forehead sneaks out one of the engine carriages.

He stares up the city and then!

He runs!

He does it just when no one was looking (except you).

He then jumps up high while doing a summersault!

His foot touches the building wall which he uses to jump again!

This time he makes it over the wall and into the city!

You stare at the shoe print he left on the wall.

The only evidence that what you just saw was real.

No one else seemed to notice.

You were already interested in this person.

But now your curiosity is peaking!

While he was jumping you caught a glimpse of what seemed to be a sword on his waist.

The handle was black and long.

You finally pull your eyes away.

[thank the cat-which-is-not-a-cat for the clarification.]

[Ok, so experiment 1 works, and we have warping on demand. Space test 2: use a wind spell and leave it in the void. See if you can take out the spell after a day or two goes by.]

You make a wind ball and throw it in the void.

Before you close the void you notice something.

The spell is already gone!

You throw another one in, this time you don't take your eyes of it.

Then you see it!

A claw appeared and swapped it!

It stole your spell!

You take a rock and throw that in there.

The same thing happens again!

Whatever this claw is, it's stealing anything you put in the void!

You close the void.

Was this always a thing? or was this something new?

Your harpoons have no problem going through the void but they move pretty fast........

You rub your chin.

When you think about.....the void is a place...

It's not a space that only you can use.

So what you just did was the equivalent of you throwing something on the street.

Of course someone will just take it!

You open the void again but this time you call cookie and have her keep the spell.

She takes the ball of air in her big blue hands and gives you a thumbs up.

You're pretty sure the spell should be safe now.

While you're doing your little experiment. 

It seems Marcel was able to score some drugs.

[steal some drugs]

You walk up to one of the shipments and just sort of take it.

It was in a bag about the size of your head.

You put it in your flap.

You walk away confidently like you did nothing believing that no one saw you.

When in reality several workers did see you and just didn’t say anything because Atlas told them you could take whatever you wanted.

Atlas seems to be done with whatever he was doing because he’s waving at you.

You run up to him.

“MISS KTHANID! I’ve talked to these…….men, and YOU CAN JUST WALK IN NOW”(Atlas)

You stare at the…..men.

They all stand tall…...figuratively speaking of course.

Some of the dwarves are standing on boxes to compensate.

They don’t really move, they just stand there.

It was strange to you that Atlas didn’t just say guards.

He just called them men.

They don’t even have any weapons.

If they aren’t guards then what are they?

It seems Atlas has noticed your confusion.

He brings you aside.

“These men work for the assassins guild”(Atlas)

Atlas pauses.

It seems he’s stopping so he can only talk in a small voice.

“They’re not here to protect anyone or even to stop anyone from coming in”(Atlas)

He takes another pause.

“They’re just here to report who comes in, usually they’d have to question you for it bit but I took care of that”(Atlas)

Another pause.

“That’s why they use dwarves and beastmen, races that have strong defences so even if they get hurt they can run back to report”(Atlas)

You scratch your head.

“I….I guess that makes sense….”

Atlas claps his hands.

“Excellent! Also one more thing, YOU MIGHT WANT TO TURN INTO YOUR HUMAN MALE form!”(Atlas)

You tilt your head.

“Why?”

Atlas taps his nose.

“LET’S JUST SAY IT’S FAR EASIER going around this town if your feared”(Atlas)

You shrug and do the thing.

Your female clothes sink into your body just as your male clothes come out.

Once you finish your transformation.

It seems something changed.

One the men, a beastman with tiger ears, takes a glance at you.

It wasn't for any reason, just something catching his eye.

Then.

His eyes widened.

You make eye contact for one second before he quickly looks away.

You notice that he’s starting to sweat…

One by one this happened to all of them.

Till all of them are looking away.

“What’s….going on??”

Atlas laughs.

“HAHAHAHA! IT SEEMS that someone has been spreading rumors ABOUT YOU, I THINK ONE OF THEM IS THAT ‘if you look Kthanid the monstrous in the eyes he disembowels you then use your body like a backpack’ “(Atlas)

You raise an eyebrow.

“A body can only fit so much! Maybe if you also take out the meat and bones and then use what’s left as a sack…”

The men get sweatier and sweatier while eavesdropping.

"Boss!"(worker)

One of Atlas's men runs towards you.

He hands Atlas an envelope.

"This was waiting for you here"(worker)

"oh! THANK YOU"(Atlas)

"no problem!"(Worker)

The worker runs back.

Atlas stares at the envelope for some time.

He uses his finger as a letter opener and takes the letter out of the envelope.

He slowly reads through it.

It's almost like he's going word by word.

When he's finally done.

Atlas rips the paper to shreds.

You don't say anything as you watch this.

Atlas's face looks grim.

He turns and walks away without saying anything.

You can't help but feel like something bad is going to happen.........

You enter Unlaw.

It was about 4 o'clock right now and the sun was in front of you.

You were so excited you rushed in ahead of everyone.

What greets you is a straight path towards the city center.

This main street is named 'Yungas road'.

And from there you can make your way to one of the city’s districts.

The city was cut into 9 districts like a very uneven pizza with very big and very small sizes.

Apparently each one belongs to a mob boss.

You stare at the main street.

So many people are walking around.

There were three types of people you can see.

First were rich people in elegant clothes.

These people had bodyguards surrounding them.

Second were poor people in rags.

These people were pushed aside and treated like garbage 

And lastly, there were the freaks.

These people looked like they dressed by running into a clothes and armor shop naked and then wearing whatever fell on them. 

Each group seemed to ignore the other.

Some of them walk alone and others walk in big groups.

It seems no one will notice if someone were to…...

[Eat a random guy.]

[secretly eat the brains of someone to try getting your brain bigger]

You quickly pull some random guy inside of you.

He was alone and dressed in rags.

You made it look like you were bumping into him.

The first thing you do is crush his throat so he doesn't scream.

You crush his bones first and then eat him.

You feel your brain getting a bit bigger but not noticeably so.

As you try to think how big your brain needs to be super smart your party catches up to you.

Ruby walks up next to you and looks around.

“huH, it'S lesS ruN dowN thaN I thoughT, I musT saY I'M noT reallY impresseD”(Ruby)

Ruby frowns.

This place looked like a slightly poor city, not the lawless wasteland she was expecting.

The only crime she can see being done in bright daylight was some guy littering.

This did not make a good first impression. 

Kay walks behind Ruby and pokes her back.

“Yeah...that’s a good thing, to be honest, if I had a choice other than this place or the…….bug city…..I would have gone for it….”(Kay)

 Kay glares at the man who just littered in the street.

She turns to you.

"Kthanid! don't litter! just keep trash in your pocket till you find a trash can, ok!"(Kay)

"Ok"

Kay and Ruby didn't say anything about your transformation.

It seems they just got used to it.

You kind of like that.

It's now Marcel's turn to catch up.

Their hands are noticeably shaky.

It seems they already used some of the drugs.

Marcel takes a very good look around.

“ooooh~~~~~I don’t even remember the last time I was in Unlaw~~~mainly because I was on drugs the whole time~~~~~~~~~~”(Marcel)

Finally, Marcel’s eyes stop on you.

“Kathy~~~~you’re back to this form~~~I really liked your new one~~~but~~~~”(Marcel)

Marcel runs their finger on your chest.

“I like soft chests~~~just as much~~~as hard chests~~~”(Marcel)

You swallow.

This….this isn’t bad either.

 Kay crosses her arms.

"ok that's enough of you, we need to find a place to stay"(Kay)

"I CAN HELP you with that"(Atlas) 

You turn back to see Atlas standing behind you.

You didn’t even hear him over the hustle and bustle of the main street.

Right away you feel something is off.

Atlas has his hand clasped together in front of him.

He’s smiling with closed eyes.

“THERE IS HOTEL IN THE 4th district I myself use every time I’m here IT’S PRICEY BUT IT’S SAFE!”(Atlas)

Atlas hands you a map with direction already on it.

Your party thanks him, at least you think they did.

You’re not really paying attention.

You’re just looking at Atlas.

You have no idea how but he seems….pale?

Is that even possible?

“Atlas”

Atlas flinched.

“Ye...yes miss KTHANID?”(Atlas)

“Are you okay?”

Atlas’s face didn’t change but his hands were squeezing tighter.

“NEVER BETTER!”(Atlas)

You keep staring at him.

Kay pokes your side.

“Kathy it’s rude to stare! Come one we should go, thank you Mister Atlas for your help! We appreciate it!”(Kay)

Kay starts following the map.

“No problem”(Atlas)

Atlas walks away.

His back now looks so small.

You don’t know why.

When you look at Atlas.

The only thing you can see.

………………………………………..is a man walking towards his grave.

You pull a piece of yourself and give it the lizard and bat forms.

Then you have it follow Atlas.

“Kathy! Come on!”(Kay)

Before entering the 4th district you had to go to the city center first.

This place used to be where the city hall was located.

But now.

It’s now where the assassins guild has set up their base.

The assassins guild building was massive.

People were going in and out in mass.

Some of them were covered in blood.

Whether it was their blood or someone else's it didn’t seem to matter.

This place was different from the entrance.

The street was spotless.

And order was kept here.

Large people were standing around making sure no one was making trouble.

You pass by one of them.

A man with more muscle than skin.

He was bald and had an eyepatch.

There were scars all over his body.

The moment you pass him he starts screaming.

“HEY YOU!!!!”(eyepatch)

You turn towards him.

His one eye was bloodshot.

He looked furious!

Like you just pissed in his cereal bowl.

“YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST WALK RIGHT PAST ME!!!!!!!!”(eyepatch)

He points a sausage like finger at you.

You ready an attack.

Marcel holds their hammer and Kay puts a hand on her gun.

Ruby keeps her hand in her pockets holding her daggers.

“.........................Without taking a coupon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”(eyepatch)

Eyepatch pulls a piece of paper.

You take it.

The paper was bright pink.

It has a cartoon drawing of a mouse stabbing a duck.

Under it written in comic sans is.

‘10% OFF ONE ASSASSINATION!!!!’

You have no idea what graphic design even is.

But even you can see how bad this is.

"umm.....thanks....but I don't really need an assassination right now....."

Eyepatch’s demeanor changes.

He’s all smiles now.

“Ooh, that’s ok! Just hold on to it! There has to be someone you’ll want dead eventually!!”(eyepatch)

Well, there are some people you want dead.

And one you REALLY want dead.

But you're sort of a....do it yourself kind of guy.

If you want to kill someone you'll do it yourself.

You offer it to your friends.

"I'm not stepping one foot in the assassins guild...."(Kay)

"meH......I don'T reallY havE thE moneY......."(Ruby)

You shove the paper into your flap.

You make your way through the 4th district.

The sun wasn't setting yet but the sky was a light orange.

This place seems classy.

It seems the mob boss that runs this district wanted to make this an entertainment sector.

Which also meant that he had to keep peace around here.

This lead to the 4th district being the """safest"" in Unlaw.

Well........to those that can pay.......

There are many casinos and bars around.

Restaurants with waiting lists that span months.

And many shows you can watch.

While this place has hostess bars there are no brothels.

That sort of entertainment is in the 7th district.

And of course.

This place has many hotels.

Not inns, hotels.

These hotels were massive.

Speaking of hotels.

The one you were guided to was the cream of the crop.

Its name was ‘casa della morte’.

It was around 10 stories tall and decorated with copper.

You can’t help but feel like the image you had of Unlaw in your head was very different…

You even see what seems to be guards walking around.

“I thought there were no laws in this place?”

Marcel taps their cheek.

“Well that is true~~~the city has no laws~~~but that doesn’t mean the mob bosses don’t have rules~~~~~”(Marcel)

“WHAT!? uhhH maaaN!!theN whaT waS thE poinT oF cominG herE!!”(Ruby)

“Well~~~as I remember from my drug haze~~~~I think the kind of carnage you’re looking for is in the 1st district~~~~~I distinctly remember bashing skulls for 12 hours straight~~~~~”(Marcel)

“God you’re fucking pathetic…..”(Kay)

You enter the hotel.

The lobby was very shiny and in your face.

Anything that could be covered in copper was covered in copper.

Marcel goes walks up to the front desk.

A beastman with rabbit ears in behind the desk.

Her eyes were closed.

"Hello, my name is Pany, how can I help you"(Pany)

"Excuse me~~~~we'd like to check in~~~~"(Marcel)

Pany's eyes were still closed.

She pulls out a piece of paper.

"party of four?"(Pany)

You stare at her.

How did she know?

Her eyes were closed the whole time.

Marcel looks over it.

And with complete confidence they say.

"We'll take one room please~~~~"(Marcel)

Kay snaps!

"ONE ROOM!?! ARE YOU-"(Kay)

Marcel holds the paper in front of kay showing the price.

Pany claps her hands.

"excellent! There's also a fee per person"(Pany)

"WHAT WE CAN'T-"(Kay)

Marcel holds kay's mouth shut.

They whisper in her ear.

"We don't have to pay~~~~ all the money now~~~~~~we'll just~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~earn it tomorrow~~~~~~~~ "(Marcel)

Kay pursed her lips but didn't say anything.

Pany pretended she didn't hear any of this.

She pulls out a key.

"This room only has three beds, we'll get you the fourth bed as fast as we can"(Pany)

"Ok, thanks!"(Kay)

Kay takes the key and you walk to the elevator. 

Once your party is out of the lobby.

Pany.

Opens her bloodshot eyes.

She is breathing heavily!

She grips the desk to stop herself from falling!

She was so sure she was going to be eaten when Kthanid was staring at her!

Pany had to deal with a lot of scary people.

People like Marcel who was in the party.

But Kthanid the monstrous was different!

He was crazy!

He'd snap at any moment and run to the nearest orphanage and make his favorite drink.

child smoothie, hold the parents. 

Or at least.

That's what the rumors say............

You enter the room.

It's big!

Casa della morte was made to be a blend between traditional and modern.

So it looked like if a noble had taste.

The room had a large balcony that looked over the 4th district.

But if you peer over you can see the smoke and smog coming from the rest of Unlaw.

Marcel was the first to jump into the bath.

Kay tried to beat them to it but her short legs failed her.

There were two bathrooms but only one had a bath so she had to wait.

And Marcel’s showers were very long.

She sits grumbling while reading her ki book.

The first thing Ruby did, on the other hand, was take as much free shit she could from the place.

She scored some flip flops, a bathrobe, and a few towels.

You on the other hand just sat on the soft bed.

The springs bouncing you up slightly.

You lay down on your back and wonder what to do.

[use the powers of pine tree and apples to make a pineapple. That's how you get pineapples, right? No? Too bad, try it anyways.]

You try to make an apple.

Something resembling an apple comes out of your palm.

It was long and weird looking.

It seems you made a pear.

But that was close enough.

In the other hand you make a pinecone.

Pinecones in this world have very sharp needles covering them.

Then you just sort of.

Combine them to make a…………..pineapple???

It looked like a spiky pear which is basically a pineapple……….right?

As you stare at your creation you immediately realize that you have no idea what to do with this.

So you just eat it whole.

The pineapple goes down your throat while tearing it up.

It gets stuck for a bit but then it tears up a bigger wound.

The blood is washing it down now.

You can’t really tell if it tasted good with all the blood.

That doesn’t stop you from eating a few more though.

As you’re enjoying your spiky fruit of death you hear a familiar sound.

The sound of something rotating really fast.

You look at the window and spot a red mask drone.

You point it out.

“Loukk rad msk dron”

You’re was filled with blood and ripped to hell so it was a miracle that was coherent.

Ruby looks out.

"I didn'T ordeR anything,...........anyonE oF yoU fuckS ordeR somethinG froM reD masK"(Ruby)

You shake your head.

Kay looks up from her book for a second.

“Just let it in and we’ll find out”(Kay)

Ruby opens the window.

The red mask drone flies in and drops a box.

Ruby signs for it.

“Whath ith it?”

You healed your mouth but your tongue is taking a bit so your talking with a lisp.

 Ruby opens the box.

She looks through the box.

Kay is now very interested.

Ruby pulls some out.

You notice something in the corner of the box.

It was a piece of paper with a red mask logo on it.

You pick it up and read out loud.

But first, you make sure to fix your tongue.

I've been writing a lot of letters lately, I don't really know why but I've gotten really good at it.

It was now night time.

But the 4th district was bright with lights.

Marcel is drinking wine and taking drugs.

Ruby said she wasn’t going to do anything and then she closed one eye while looking at you.

You think it’s okay not wanting to do anything, but Ruby should get her eye looked at.

You stare at the city.

Unlaw was a city that never slept.

There was always something going on.

If you stretch your eyesight you can see a few explosions.

Whether these were fireworks or bombs you don’t really know.

Something about this city.

Feels ending……

You use the word ending because you have nothing else.

Just looking at it makes you feel like an end is coming.

An ending to what?

The city?

The world?

You?

You pull out silver-haired, 21-year-old nobleman and hug him.

It makes you feel calmer.

What should you do in this city?

["Hm.... here is a mission for you. Get Marcel with you and start putting [Fire = Destroying] to all the Bothrels(places with a lot of bitches) in Unlaw."

 

"Secondly, please dispose/kill all the Underground Bosses of Unlaw City, and take their place as the Big Boss of Unlaw city. (Dude, we need some cash before we start our next journey, be sure u rob them clean!)"]

It’s your heart.

It’s beating so hard!

It’s expanding to the point it almost burst out of your chest.

You feel heat as the blood rushes through your body at speeds that would break veins.

This…..was fire speaking to you!

Fire doesn’t talk to you directly.

It uses Satan's heart as an intermediary.

You can’t really tell what it’s trying to say.

You use void to calm it down.

But this backfires!

You start to have visions in your head.

It’s of Unlaw on fire!

It burns everything until not even ash remains.

Then it spreads all over the world.

It doesn’t stop until every single thing is burnt to a crisp.

Once you stop using void the visions stop.

Instead, you use air to help you breathe.

This actually helps to keep fire down.

You knew fire wanted to destroy but you didn't think it was to this scale.....

Fire needs fuel to burn.

Not for any reason.

It just consumes more and more.

It's no wonder barbarians need it to enter a berserk state.

It's even worse when paired with void.

One of the strongest combinations of aptitudes is void and light.

With this, you can use the power of void but have a light to get you out of it.

But you can substitute light with fire.

But fire does the opposite.

Fire pulls you into the void.

It gets bigger and bigger and lets you see more and more of the void.

Just until you get to the darkest depths of the void where absolute power is within arms reach.

The flame snuffs out.

Leaving you all alone in void you will never escape.

You rub your eyes.

You think you'll do that till tomorrow or maybe the day after that.

You want to enjoy this place before you destroy it.

Faceless form?

You turn into a meatball but then you just sort of form yourself into a human shape.

Last time you tried this you failed horribly but now you do it pretty seamlessly.

You put a nuby horn first and then a sharp one and then a long horn all in a row.

Five people are in an alleyway in the 4th district.

All four of them were wearing clothes to cover their identities.

These five were gang members.

They used to belong to a bigger group but they’re all that’s left.

One of them steps forward.

Gangster 2 held up a large suitcase.

Gangster 3 points to the fifth person in this alley.

It was a person covered in a filthy blanket.

They sat by a dumpster and didn’t move.

“Leave him it’s just some homeless guy who gives a shit.”(gangster 4)

“Yeah we have more important things to do”(gangster 2)

“Nah nah! Let me take care of this bum!”(gangster 4)

“God I know you hate homeless people but come on man”(gangster 1)

Gangster 4 didn’t listen.

He hated homeless people because his dad was homeless.

He led his family to a great debt and he hated him for it.

He died soon after so gangster 4 had to take out his anger on any homeless person.

He made sure to beat any of them.

 “Hey fuck head! Get up! Did you have too much drinky drinky!”(gangster 4)

The person in the blanket didn’t move.

Gangster 4 kicked him as hard as he could.

But instead of the soft flesh of a person.

He hit something hard.

Gangster 4 not understanding what’s going on takes a step back.

And then he falls over.

Gangster 4 looked down to see what he tripped on.

Before he could scream he looked at the person in the blanket.

And saw them eating his foot.

He was in too much pain to even hear him.

But his screams would be cut short.

A large claw digs into his stomach.

A spider girl stands in an open wasteland.

The only light is her body’s orange glow.

What seemed to be a giant wall was broken into many pieces.
