{I deserve this?} Asked Mary as she fell towards the frozen-shard covered floor.
She closed her eyes, not wanting to see what happens next.
Nothing mattered anymore. After everything she went through, she was about to die because of her stubbornness in the end. Because she didn't want to accept defeat once again.

'Don't give up!!"
Suddenly a voice was heard. A loud scream that pierced the darkness letting a single spark of light pass through.
"Who is this? Why are you talking to me?" Asked the unfortunate girl, responding to the loud voice that didn't seem to let her pass on.
"You have still tasks to complete"
"Isn't it enough? Just let me die already-" Mary responded with an annoyed tone.
"The hell are you saying you idiot!? Like I would let my servant die like that! Now please do me a favor and wake up, I can't hold you for much longer."

Upon hearing his words, Mary slowly opened her eyes again, witnessing her opponent holding her out of danger.
He gritted his teeth to endure the pain. As the boy with the broken arm and the torn out fingernails, stood on top of the ice-covered floor holding her up as the frozen shards pierced his feet.
Mary was speechless. Why would he do this? Why would he put himself in danger for someone as worthless as her? Those questions filled her mind as a faint blush filled her cheeks with a bright red color.

"Why!? Why did you save me?" Asked the girl looking at her savior's eyes.
"Why!? Why should I let you die? Are you stupid or something?" Said the young master letting her off his arms on a safe spot next to him.
"Listen here, idiot! You are valuable! Don't ever deny that! I don't know what you went through and as to why you hate losing so much. If you don't think your life as important, that's your choice to make. But what I think, is that everything has a value, and you are the one who decides what your value is worth. As for why I saved you, just tell me, how can a servant trust their master, if they can't rely on him?" It was at that moment that Mary felt something.
Something warm in her chest, a burning feeling that she never felt before.

"So listen here! Since I won the challenge, from here on out you are my servant. So whenever you're unwell, and if you ever doubt me, then come see me. I Tada the Great! Will be sure to knock some sense into you like any good master should" Tada finished talking as he pointed at himself and smiled.

Mary was happy, happier than ever before.
Tears rolled down her eyes as she looked back at her new master with a warm look of joy.
She thought that those moments won't last long. But for some reason, there was a feeling inside her heart that gave her courage. It made her feel like that ride would last way longer than she thought.
"Yes...Master Tada" Said the delighted girl as she jumped towards her master and hugged him tightly.
"Awawaw" Tada was happy that all this was finally over but his feet still hurt like hell.
This pain was what made him remember what had happened, and turned his focus towards the muscular that was still sitting on top of the wall.

"Can you please?..." Asked Tada as the muscular boy sighed and suddenly the ice melted at once.
"Master Tada are you okay" Said Mary as the young master sighed.
"Seriously Tada! We need to take you to the hospital, how can you be so calm?" I hurried over to his side worried. Today was yet another weird encounter.
{Give me a break} I thought.
"I'll be alright, just stop whining! You get on my nerves Rant" Said Tada annoyed as the unexpected happened.

We suddenly heard a loud BUMP! And just like that, the muscular guy was laying on the ground.
"Hiroto what the hell!? Are you out of your mind?" The one responsible for this turn of events was none other than Tifa who was now next to the guy supposedly named Hiroto, as she safely returned Soro to the ground.
"Is something wrong? I just wanted to spare you the trouble!" Hiroto stood up as nothing happened. Like it was the logical action to do after falling from a great height.
{What the hell? Tada Broke his arm last time he fell from there. Just what is this guy?} my mind was blown as the guy proceeded on arguing with Tifa.
"Spare me the trouble my ass! I never tried going up that wall you know"
"You were about to! It's not like I can read your mind you crazy perfectionist, I act like myself sometimes too"
"Who are you calling a monkey brain? Take that back you protein consuming freak"
{Hey hey...For some reason, I feel a deja vu but I can't seem to remember} I thought looking at these two arguing like children.

"Okay stop you two! First of all, you the muscular guy. I believe Tifa called you Hiroto. Who are you?" I asked separating the two.
"Great now I have to introduce myself..." He sighed with an annoyed expression on his face.
"Ahem."
{He said that...}
"As Tifa said, I'm Hiroto Nakajima. The sin of wrath here in Tsurugi Academy and Tifa's childhood friend"
"He's a big idiot" Said Tifa as she covered her mouth with her hand and looked away.
"Don't say I'm an idiot!!" As he said that he paused for a second.
"Ahem."
{He said it again...}
"Being one of the seven deadly sins is a great title. It means you're one of the seven strongest swordsmen in the academy. So don't go thinking I'm easy to beat" He pointed at himself while looking proud of his introduction.

"Pfft...Lame" Said Tifa as she giggled secretly.
"Okay, that does it! If you're gonna be like that then I believe it's my time to leave ladies and gentlemen...And Tifa"
"Hey!" Said Tifa as Hiroto left.
But she received no answer.

"PIN PIN PON!" As all this craziness was finally over, the speakers rose from the inside of the thick walls once again.
"Attention all students! As of now, the exam is over. There will be a brief delay of five minutes, in which the remaining students shall gather in the school building. However, those who did not meet the criteria of having at least four coins total or are missing a member and do not cross the finish line inside the time limit, will be considered as failing the exam. That's all now do your best and come as quickly as you can or you'll miss the party."

The one talking was of course the headmaster, and judging by the way he talked, I could feel his amusement.
"We must get going, or we'll be seriously late this time" I said as I took Tada on my back.
And as we were about to leave, Mary's team stopped us.
"And what about us?" Asked Disk.
"What are we going to do? Is it fair for us to fail just because our team member screwed up?"
"Guys..." Mary was puzzled. She was sad that her team had to fail just because she lost the challenge.

"About your coins... You can keep them"
"Rant?"Asked Tada upon hearing Ran's answer.
"It's alright Tada. We have more than enough coins already and these guys are also your servants aren't they?"
Tada nodded.
"What about our forth member though? The informant. We're missing a person"
Soro then raised his arm as he glanced at us shyly.
"What about me?"
"You!?"
To our surprise, the disabled upperclassman was indeed an informant.
A job that seemed to fit him like no other.

However, Soro seemed troubled as he should be.
No team in their right mind would ever recruit a disabled person, most would think of them as a nuisance and a burden.
"Are you really an informant?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
Soro nodded as he looked at me with an expression that screamed uncertainty.
Like he was thinking {Is he an idiot?} Or something similar.
{I'm truly lucky} I thought as I smiled filling blessed and immediately rushed and grabbed the wheelchair from behind.
"ALRIGHT! We're ready to go!" I said puffing my cheeks, getting ready to run with all my might.
"Hey don't leave me you lunatic! I can't walk yet!!" Shouted Tada as he hanged from my neck.

"Master Tada! Will you be okay?" Just before we leave, Mary walked closer.
"He will be alright, have some faith in him...Hey...WAIT!!" Replied Tifa in my and Tada's behalf as I sprinted towards the exit.
Tada gave Tifa the map and she guided us through the maze.
Up until we found ourselves in front of a crossroad.
As we stopped to think a young swordsman got blasted towards me, dragging me and Tada along.
"Hey what gives?" Falling on the ground, I looked at the person.
He was a guy with spiky red hair and a soul patch beard in a heart shape.
"Oh my, I'm very sorry! " He said as he helped us stand up.
"It was an accident but I still apologize "
"It can't be helped then, please be careful" Said Tifa as the guy bowed at us and left.
I got Tada on my back again and grabbed my head.

We were undamaged, but the problem remained: we were clueless, and the time wasn't on our favor.
I had to guess, that was the only solution I could think of.
But as I was thinking a strange thought went through my head.
What about Soro? The headmaster joked about putting the informers into the exam, but what if he did it on purpose? What if the fourth member was actually the key to solving this problem?
"What's your opinion? " I asked him, and after looking at the map for a couple of seconds Soro rolled the wheels of the moving chair and kept moving until he got close to the wall of the crossroad.
As it seemed, Soro was very knowledgeable as well as familiar with the layout of the maze.

"We should take the right path" He said as right after observing the wall for a couple of seconds.
"Are you sure? " Asked Tifa looking at him.
"You see these cuts?" Replied the purple-haired boy "They are called Raformtics a type of dialect we informants use to pass information to one another without having any leaks. We normally use ink to write them and the type of the message varies based on the color of the ink but it seems to me that, whoever build those walls put a lot of effort to engrave this dialect into them. "
That was unexpected,{Informants are surprisingly complicated} was what I thought.

"For example this character here that looks like a half i  is pronounced as Fuu  and it means Man. That reverse C looking one that's stuck to it, is pronounced Tsu and it means Bright. And then there's this punctuation mark ' next to them, which is pronounced Ja that completely changes the meaning and is used to stick two characters together to make a completely different word.
The word engraved in the wall to the right is pronounced Fuutsuja and it means Truth.
Unlike the left path Satobi which translates to Fail.
And thus I would advise us to take the left path."
As Soro finished his explanation he pushed his glasses upwards all serious looking.

We were speechless.
"That was amazing!! You're amazing Soro!!" I shouted pulling my face closer to him.
"Please calm down you're creeping me out."
Tifa and Tada sighed at Soro's statement.
Ran was indeed the type to get excited like this.
And just like that, we continued heading towards the finish line.
