Waking up again, I found myself on what seemed to be a floor made of light. Around me was a flat white floor with the starry sky above me and nothing else.

 

This was not like the last time I was here. All the vegetation was gone, and there was no sea of clouds or bright sun around me. There was just nothing, and I was completely alone. That was until a sound like shattering glass came from behind me, and what looked like a crack made of light stretching about six feet into the air appeared a few inches off the ground.

 

Then a blade of a weapon stuck through the crack, scaring me before the crack was pried open and someone I was familiar with came into view.

 

Standing there on the other side was a nearly perfect tall kitsune woman with a very well-endowed figure and nine black-tipped scarlet tails that currently looked to be dripping with fresh blood covered in a dark red and black kimono. Everything about her seemed to be honed from years on a battlefield with nothing but the German glaive that was currently in her hand. 

 

Her face had a small scar running all the way down one of her cheekbones, making it only nearly perfect. Of course, this only served to highlight her slightly glowing red eyes, which seemed to reflect the light around her. Then there was her dark red hair, which was currently tied to flow only down her back and not get in the way of her sight. Other than that, it was free to flow down just past her shoulders naturally.

 

On top of her head was one of the classic features of a kitsune: her slightly shorter triangular fox ears. These were the same color as her hair for the most part, with the exceptions of the tips of her ears and the fluffy fur inside them being black.

 

As for her tails, they did not necessarily have the volume you would expect and were slimmer than usual. However, from the look of them, they clearly made up for that in the soft silk-like texture.

 

In addition to all of this were her accessories, mainly the German glaive in her hands with red tassels attached to both the blade and the staff, as well as two more weapons attached to her side. The first of these weapons was a katana that was strapped on top of the second weapon, a European long sword with a golden hilt. 

 

Finally, there was Her kimono, which had a black base and was decorated with a multitude of small falling flower petals that were a dark red in color.

 

This person was the kitsune goddess Haruka and one of the goddesses that blessed me.

 

The moment she finished breaking what seemed like the fabric of reality or something, she saw me, and I could see that she grew visibly angrier. She quickly stepped through the opening and looked around but, similar to me, did not see anything.

 

It was then that the tear in, whatever it was, closed behind her, and she shouted, “Who the h**l kidnaped my granddaughter! Show yourself now!”

 

That was when two golden-edged system windows appeared in front of both of us with writing already on them.

 

{[It was I who brought her here to facilitate a meeting.]}

 

I was surprised by that message as I thought this was supposed to be some twisted reward from my system. Haruka, on the other hand, did not seem to be very pleased and asked, “And what is here exactly?”

 

The window changed at that question and showed a new set of writing. 

 

{[This place is a pseudo-divine domain that I have strengthened to allow for people to stay in for a short amount of time.

 

This is also your system reward, but it seems like the other party is still getting ready to meet you.]}

 

Well, since this was not just a blank space and I was supposed to meet someone, it is at least not that much of an issue, but a warning would have been nice.

 

Looking at Haruka, I saw that she went from anger to complete shock for a short time. She then muttered something under her breath that I could not hear, most likely because she was also a kitsune and knew how good our hearing was.

 

Our attention was then stolen by the flash of something happening behind us.

 

Turning around, I saw the stars begin to shine brighter, and silver lines began to connect them into a myriad of constellations, the most prevalent being a fox with ten tails. In the spot directly underneath the fox, a silver rift began to appear more elegantly than the one Haruka had cut open to arrive. 

 

 Stepping out of the rift, a kitsune woman the same size as me gently brushed some dust off her oddly shimmery clothes. Looking up at us, I was stunned. She was gorgeous!  Her hair that fell to the middle of her back was as black as midnight with tips ending in glittering silver. The fox ears atop her head were the same as well as her…ten tails! 

 

 They looked so fluffy that I could barely look away from them. Thankfully, I was able to, after some struggle, only to notice something in them that brought my sight right back to them. Every move of her tails seemed to show a different scene in the night sky, endless stars, and constellations. Tearing my eyes from her tails after more struggle allowed me to take in the rest of her. 

 

Her face was perfectly sculpted with the most striking feature being her glowing silver eyes. She looked around the space we were in while trying to figure out what was happening. This slight movement made something jiggle, which naturally made my eyes turn to see what it was.

 

 It didn’t take long for me to figure out what it was, as her bust was massive, making me look down at my own chest in a vague sense of envy and loss. Then I remembered how much trouble I had with mine at the start and also again when I was working in the ‘Lab’. So, I was more than content with mine at the moment.

 

The unknown woman then spoke, saying, “Hmm.  I was expecting this to go like it did with Aiko, but I guess I’m here personally this time. Whatever.”

 

That threw me off guard for a moment as I did not know what she was talking about when she finally turned her attention to me and my grandmother. The strange Kitsune then spoke again, saying, “Nice to meet you two. My name is Luna, Goddess of Space and Stars and the Abyss of Fluff. I’ve been viewing your actions after your reincarnation a few months ago at my friend’s place and decided that you have what it takes to be my Fluff Acolytes.  Now, before we get to that, proper introdu-“

 

Before Luna could continue, a rift opened up beside us, and a man with four horns sprouting from the side of his head with patches of scales on his skin and a spiked lizard tail stepped out.

 

“Hahaha, I knew that energy trace would lead me somewhere! Now time to…

Div. What is going on here?”

 

The divine system then appeared in multiple windows in front of him; however, none of us got those windows. After a short bit of silence, the man looked at us and said, “I will allow this so long as no one blows up another section of reality. I already have to deal with rogue kitsune deities trying to mess with Helhiem.

 

Oh, and Haruka, you are going to watch over things for me after this while I go take a nap.” He then turned around and went through the rift, as all of us could faintly hear before it closed, “I can finally take a break after five years!”

 

Silence rained for a slight moment after that before Luna woke all of us up by clearing her throat and saying, “Interruption aside, let us continue.”

With that, I was reminded of what Luna was saying before we got interrupted, and I quickly introduced myself. “I am Vale Lockheart, the current adopted daughter of Raina Lockheart and Champion of Elinaria.”

 

That seemed to get my now-named Grandmother to introduce herself, though she seemed oddly wary about the woman in front of us. “And I am Haruka Kiro, Grand goddess of Blood, War, and Honor, as well as this kit’s grandmother.”

 

It seemed like Haruka- I mean, my grandmother wanted to say more, but Luna quickly intervened and explained, “Hmhm.  Now, it may be a bit forceful on my part, seeing as we really don’t know much about each other personally, well, at least you probably don’t know much about me…anyway, sorry for just doing this, but Miss Vale, I grant you my blessing of stars and space as well as the Greater Blessing of Fluff.  Also, as the Abyss of Fluff, I name you, Vale, you, Haruka, as well as the missing party Raina, as my Acolytes of Fluff in this world. I look forward to your exploits and the further spreading of the good word of Fluff.” (Luna)

 

It seemed like there was more she wanted to say and tons of questions I had for her, but the stars above us began to fade back to their original brightness.

 

“Seems I have to go now, so have fun. I’ll be watching. Oh!  Before I forget, Vale, take this. It’ll help you immensely.”

 

Tossing me a small leather bag, I caught it out of the air and immediately smelled the scent of coffee beans.

 

“That’s some of the best coffee my world has to offer, cultivated by the God of Coffee himself. I made sure to get a few unprocessed seeds, too, so feel free to grow some for yourself. Miss Haruka, if you will, please Soul Bind those and any coffee she manages to grow to Vale and her family. We don’t want actual Divine Coffee getting into the hands of others.”

 

With that, she stepped back through the rift she came in through, and I managed to catch a glimpse of another Kitsune woman with the same amount of tails as Luna, but instead of black, they were silver. The moment their eyes met, their atmosphere became so sickeningly, romantically sweet that it would give anyone who’d never had a girlfriend diabetes at best or kill them with sugar at worst.

 

When I saw that, I unconsciously muttered, “…Why am I reminded of Lou Xia?” 

 

The light in this divine realm then started to dim when I heard Grandmother nearly shout, “Wait a minute! What do you mean by a few months? Wasn’t it a few years!”

 

Then, the world went dark, and I was introduced to the realm of sleep once more.

 

What no one noticed was a small little fox-like creature made of constellations and black mist sitting where Luna’s rift once was.
