Primordial Origin's Life

_______________________________________________________________________________________

In the Dream Realm

Wei Ru stood up. He opened his eyes and looked around. He was in a meadow. There were countless flowers around him and a giant tree that he couldn't see the top of.  He looked around before noticing a bustling city around the foot of the hill were the meadow was located. The wooden buildings, the familiar yet unique architecture and the farming fields made him feel extremely familiar.

As the wind rustled, he suddenly realized something. He looked at his hands and his muddy clothing. "Where am I? Wasn't I undergoing my Immortal Ascension?"

However, he felt memories coming from somewhere to him.

"This is a dream realm?" He got the fright of his life as he realized.

"I haven't ever dabbled into the Dream realm, why was I given a Dream realm tribulation?"

He was suddenly reminded of his strange talent to go to dream realms of mortals as a mortal.

He wanted to continue thinking but couldn't find any leads.

Begrudgingly, he went ahead and tried to explore the area while trying to find out what time period this was.

"Xiao er, come over here, it's time for lunch."

He saw a smiling woman calling over to him, he felt familiarity as he went towards her.

"Sister!"

He started running towards her.

She laughed and caught him before placing him in her arms like a child and going back.

She was young but had decent muscles from working. Her skin was slightly dark due to the sun. In Wei Ru's memory, she also seemed a bit talkative.

"Xiao er, can you imagine what I found? It's a snake with 2 heads, fortunately it was slow so I could escape the forest and come back."

"You know what lunch is right? I think it's rice and some meat. I think meat is too salty for some reason."

Wei Ru quickly got tired of listening to her.

They reached their home, a thatched hut with a few acres of field. They had recently saved up enough money to rebuild their house so the family was happy.

"Ah, you two are back!"

A woman smiled back at them while sitting next to the stove. She had many wrinkles but still looked energetic.

...

In the Heavenly Court

The Tower leader had introduced Blood Demon to the Demon Judgement Board's current lord.

Red Heart Traveler was rather unenthusiastic at this new upstart demon joining the Heavenly Court. However, upon knowing he was introduced by Genesis Lotus, his eyes sparkled.

"Hahaha, good, good, good, since the venerable asked, how can I not comply?"

The other 2 were shocked, never seeing this side of him.

Like this, a few months went by, Red Heart Traveller taught Blood Demon extensively.

Blood Demon was also slowly accepted into the Heavenly Court, others would greet him when seeing him. He also had amazing communication skills and slowly got to know the others.

Even the Tower Lord was impressed and they even started to hit it off.

They were currently having a tea party.

"And then, I was surrounded by Tie Clansmen and had to use a trump card, sadly, I don't have the immortal gu for that."

Blood Demon was explaining his story as the other 2 listened.

Red Heart Traveller was quite astonished, to think this otherworldly demon would have such adventures.

"Hahaha, back in my day, I could have easily beat those immortals as a bottom level rank 6."

The Tower Lord boasted as all laughed.

It was a harmonious environment.

However, the same couldn't be said about Wei Ru.

The few months outside was few years inside the dream realm.

He as an immortal had an outstanding vision and saw the opportunity as well as the dangers of this dream realm.

He wanted to survive and continue living so despite being influenced by the dream realm he managed to be rational.

He also found the era he was in and managed to plan ahead and using a few schemes, managed to get the city lord's daughter as his fiancee.

The city lord was one of the few gu masters around and a rank 4.

As it turned out, Wei Ru had massive talent, at 96% primeval essence and the city lord was even more enthusiastic than Wei Ru about the marriage.

As his talent was talked about, he earned the respect of his fellow city people and became a local celebrity.

Today was the day of his marriage.

Thanks to the talent he possessed, his family managed to get a house around the middle of the city, with the city lord's house around. Wei Ru was also diligent and reached rank 2 quite quickly and helped in a beast tide. However, he had also schemed against another rising star and became the only rising star in the city.

Today, his parents looked expectantly at him. They had already readied a carriage, the City Lord's family had already given the dowry and they were flush with money.

Wei Ru stood straight, his hair flowing calmly like a ancient lake. His eyes were dark yet had some warmth. He originally didn't want to get married since that would lead to greater emotions, but things didn't go the way he wanted. After becoming lovebirds he also wanted to become a Gu master which only the city lord could do. He finally decided to go all in and do his best since it was better than letting things happen unexpectedly.

He bid farewell to his parents who used another carriage to get to the center of the city.

The road was showered with flowers with some envious and some happy people.

However, he didn't mind, he couldn't care less.

As he got closer and closer to the center of the city were the City Lord's mansion was he got an unappetizing feeling.

"Hmm, what's going on?"

He looked with his gu towards the city gates.

At this moment, somebody screamed "Beast tide," from the city gates.

The gates shattered and rubble flew, a giant Minotaur along with countless other beasts rampaged.

The Minotaur was rank 5!

Wei Ru was stunned.
