I've been wondering why Superluminal's light novel has been rejected by Moonquill after being on 1.5 years worth of a hold just to wait for the response twice. The first rejection implied that much had to be changed and as soon as the advice they gave us was applied to Superluminal Vol 1's manuscript, it was out and out rejected.
I then submitted the manuscript to a literary agent as of January and while they quote a period of up to 6 months, that period has clearly elapsed (and not a single word from them).
It's very dismaying, to say the least. In an effort to recover my self-esteem, I've written a new story in the hopes that some things will change if I mix things up.
Please check out my new project if you like isekai and my writing in general:

I hope all of you who are inclined to check it out enjoy Euphonia - Requiem to a Cursed World
In the near future, I think my next step beyond this new project should be to write the next volume of Superluminal, Elodie Elegy. The wireframe for that volume is still pending expansion.
For more Superluminal goodness, you can read the whole version of The Dream intended for Amazon/Publishing on Royal Road right now!

It's a shame how things don't go as well as we hoped, but oh well.
Nya,
This one was really good. I would honestly love to see it continued, even if that continuation is simply a short conclusion.
Publishers can be assholes, everything is politically motivated, and even the best stories can be denied... I mean, one of the greatest authors of all time, J.R.R. Tolkien, Faced Rejection for years(10, iirc) before Finally getting a publisher to Agree to publish... And then The fellowship of the ring Was Released, And The man became a Legend. Don't give up, and if it comes down to it, You can Self Publish, And sell For cheap on Amazon or something... then, after hitting a certain sales margin, 75% of publishers will see that as Proof Of Interest, And you can Get an official Publication. They might Assign you a team to help with rewriting and Layout Editing though...
Still. I really like this story... It was Interesting and entertaining, and not just more of the same. It's been a year now... I'm just hoping you havent completely given up on it.
Thanks for sharing your insights! I only gave up on publication, feeling it may not be in my stars, but no, I haven't given up on Superluminal. I cherish this story before any others.
At the moment, I'm writing a story that I haven't a co-writer for, although I can't quite say that, since a friend of mine does a bit of editing for me to help keep things clearer.
My goal is to create something similar to Superluminal, but a bit different. Magical girls instead of superheroes. I'm not sure if you've discovered that particular story. In case you haven't, I'll provide a link.

To answer your question more directly, I do wish to write and release a new volume of Superluminal at some point, but to do that, I would have to suspend production of Radiant Lodestar Aurora. (I'm simply not the kind of person who likes to focus on multiple projects at once. It's too easy for my wires to get crossed.)
@Rellawing I'll check it out.
@Darkakuahebi Thanks for checking it out! I'm curious to know if you feel that it's a worthy project to focus on for some time.
@Rellawing If you need an editor I can do it
For Euphonia or Superluminal? I've had other offers in the past, but only AlliterativeArts had the willpower to slog through the whole thing in a pass where Superluminal's concerned. Euphonia will be pretty long too in the end if it continues to be a hit with readers!
I ask in advance because I need the help most with Euphonia (for editing, mostly grammar and punctuation with feedback on how things are shaping up, etc.)
@Rellawing was offering for superluminal, haven't looked at euphonia
@KaedeFar AA has things covered for Superluminal for now. What do you propose do to do for Superluminal?
@Rellawing i had just remembered something a few posts ago asking for an editor.
