The [Curse Binding Scripture] worked hand in hand with the Beast Soul Arts I had learned before. I could bind a beast soul to the curse weapons, giving my Curse Bound significant power.

This was truly the Soul Dao! I had finally found a direction to go in with my Soul Dao. I would command a legion of Curse Bound one day.

I stuck with Fire and Electric curse weapons for now. Once I broke into the Baron realm, I would have plenty of time to look over the [Classic Elements Scripture] and learn other elemental Daos.

The Baron realm was a watershed realm. Esquire and Knight could be traversed quickly, but as soon as I entered the Baron realm my progress would slow to a crawl. That would give me much time to delve into elemental Daos.

The Viscount realm was on an entirely different level. There were many Barons, but few could cross the boundaries to reach Viscount. No one would look down on me for spending much time as a Baron. A Baron was the realm held by devil clan patriarchs! It was the furthest most noble devils would reach in their lifetime.

The reason the Mirage Duke clan had a contract that required me to reach the Baron realm before the age of 25 was that that was a mark of talent. The earlier one reached the Baron realm, the easier it would be for them to make it over the watershed.

I had no responsibilities right now. My mandatory tasks were up to date in the Hazel Canopy camp. Damn it, I was only gone nine days. I must escape this place.

Kyle and Wanfang were handling the heavy lifting within [Libra]. I fully immersed myself in closed-door devilry to unravel the mysteries of the Curse, Soul, Fire, and Electric Daos.

I had a full plate!

~~~
For [Libra], the business was booming! Firesuede, Firegold, Waternylon, Waterzinc, Airsteel, Airsand, Earthbrick, and Earthsoil were selling like hotcakes. Crafters, alchemists, and other professions highly sought these pure elemental materials.
[Libra] even had a waiting list for some of them. The orders for Airsteel were backed up for six months!
Kyle was enjoying his newfound position as a general manager. His dark elf clan now had a pocket world to call home. Generations of dark elves would have peace and prosperity in the pocket world.
Those that were weak could live out their entire lives in the pocket world's safety, however, the strong would have the chance to prove themselves in the Xertzul Abyss.
For such an outstanding job securing the dark elf's future, Kyle was named chieftain of the Shevra dark elf tribe. The entire tribe supported him.
Mhoryga, Eldrin, and Aymar, the ones who died capturing the Tutan World, were named eternal wardens. Their sacrifice for the tribe would not be forgotten.
Most of the mortal elves sought refuge in the Tutan World. There they had a nation, separate from the sphinx.
The surviving sphinx united into one nation under the leadership of James' slaves. The rebuilding of the world only took five years or around 7 and a half weeks in Xertzul Abyss time.
They were all taught to worship devoutly, their 'savior' devil lord James Hudson. Everyone would donate to the devil alter, it would reward them with fel shards which quickened their cultivation.
Dark elves still practiced Wood Dao, but some had branched out into unknown territory. Eventually, James distributed the first and second volume of the [Classic Elements Scripture] to the denizens of the lower world.
He had to be beloved by the masses; he was their savior. He brought light where before there was darkness.
The only way it would fulfill James' ambitions is if he had generations of devout followers. They however had to be strong. The [Classic Elements Scripture] was the best Dao scripture that James had ever seen. Through it, you could derive elemental Dao.
James truly looked like a savior to the newly born sphinx. Though they were all official slaves, their life was improving.
The Tutan World had become somewhat of a paradise. James had culled the realm so there was plenty of space. The skeletons did most of the manual labor in the world; they worked tirelessly tending fields and mining resources. Every sphinx and elf born had the chance to cultivate since they weren't oppressed.
The [Classic Elements Scripture] allowed them to practice and learn elemental Dao. During the elementalists reign, sphinx could only choose one elemental path. But now they were truly learning elemental Dao.
There were Air & Water Dao, Typhoon practitioners. Earth & Water Dao, Mud practitioners, and all kinds of other combinations.
The relic grounds allowed them to understand a unique elemental Dao path that fit them. It was truly a gift to the masses. The relic ground was originally elemental. Tutankhamen had corrupted it with his Curse Dao.
All the young sphinx worked hard to donate the most resources at the alter. With the fel shards they could grow strong faster.
The original sphinx slaves did not speak of the time before James' descent. From the slave contract, they hail him as a saint. He bravely came and imparted superior knowledge and rid the Tutan World of the 'plague' that wiped out the population.
Relations between the dark elves and the sphinx were cordial. There were very few people and many resources throughout the entire world. There was nothing to dispute in this cradle since James reaped the world of population.
Many years of peace and tranquility passed, the first batch of young sphinx and elves reached the high-Knight realm.
They had been taught to worship James since they were born. He was their devil lord. The elves had the highest of praises for him. They followed him willingly, and he had blessed them with such a paradise. They had much more fervor than the sphinx.
These elves were born of mortal parents who took up residence in the Tutan World. For the mortal elves, the Tutan World was heaven. Here they did not have to worry about dying to strong cultivators.
They even had a nation! There was a statue of James at the elf capital. The elves loved and adored James.
The elders taught the newborn sphinx and elves that if they reached the high-Knight realm, they could serve their devil lord personally in a higher world. All the young cultivators dreamed of having such a wonderful opportunity.
In the first generation, there were five that had the talent to ascend to the higher world. Ajax, Cirab, and Nenata from the Sphinx Nation, and Dycrud and Gimnod from the Elf Nation.
"You all should serve our devil lord devoutly in the Xertzul Abyss," said the alter priest.
"Yes, alter priest!" said the young cultivators.
Today the five brave young Knights were preparing to step into the Xertzul Abyss. One was trembling while another was smiling from ear to ear. Various emotions painted the young cultivators. They were about to enter an unfamiliar world!
