Chapter 35 The Unstoppable Force

Rowan, whose body was still in the process of healing, overheard everything. His eyes widened as he watched, despite the fact that his tissues were slowly repairing. His body remained immobile, and he could do nothing but observe from within the barrier Rua had placed earlier.

On the battlefield, chaos ensued as many murmured in disbelief. “Shit, to think that that old guy Rowan’s granddaughter would be this outrageously strong!” one of the S-rank demonic generals exclaimed in shock.

“No, I think this is possible. Considering their ancestor was a monster too,” said a giant of similar rank.

On the other side, the elf elder’s face was pale. he prepared to activate her summoning spell using the ring on her hand. “This brat will definitely come after me for what I did to her mother,” the elf elder muttered. “And that stupid dwarf couldn’t even withstand the pressure earlier... still unaware he’ll be killed.”

Thousands of S-rank warriors, of various races, continued to murmur among themselves until Rua had enough. “Are you done talking? Should you be proud to show who’s stronger here?” Rua said, her left eye flickering as she activated her Eternal Sight. It was clear her provocation had worked.

“Come on, what are you afraid of?” Rua stood amidst the encroaching circle of S-rank warriors. Her black hair flowed like a dark river, and her glowing left eye radiated an ominous white aura. The enemies hesitated, but their pride wouldn’t allow them to back down. They closed in with unrelenting determination.

Rua remained still, her expression cold and unreadable. Her white-glowing eye pulsed with ethereal light as the Eternal Sight, Stage Two, took effect. Each step they took toward her seemed to move at a crawl in her perception. The slow-motion effect made their movements seem tedious, and she was bored by it already.

“Come, don’t make me get bored,” Rua said, her voice calm but carrying an unshakable menace. “Let’s see how long you last.”

---

The first to charge was a demon general. “You’re really arrogant, brat. I’ll definitely flatten you!” he roared, his pig-like face twisted in fury as he raised a massive mace.

“THUD! THUD! THUD!” Heavy footsteps echoed as the enormous warrior swung his weapon.

Rua remained standing, effortlessly sidestepping the attack. Her body was a blur, and her knee shot upward with devastating speed.

“CRAAACK!” The demon general’s jaw shattered, teeth flying in all directions. Blood gushed from his mouth as his body convulsed before falling backward, lifeless.

Next, an elf appeared from the side, daggers flashing. Rua spun, her fist striking the elf’s temple.

“BOOOOM!” The elf’s head exploded like a melon, brain matter splattering across the battlefield.

“What a boring bunch,” Rua said, her cold gaze fixed on the elf’s lifeless body.

---

Moments later, the air grew tense as more warriors rushed in, thinking their sheer numbers would overwhelm Rua.

“What an absolute retard,” Rua muttered blankly.

Her Eternal Sight pulsed again, the white glow intensifying. Her movements became a deadly ballet, each strike precise and unstoppable.

Two demon generals, identical in appearance with wolf-like features, lunged toward her, claws slashing toward her throat. Rua caught their wrists mid-air and twisted with brutal force.

“KRRRIIIK!” Bones snapped like twigs, and before the two demon generals could scream, Rua slammed her palm into their chests.

“THOOOOOOM!” The impact sent shockwaves outward, crushing ribs and rupturing organs. Blood sprayed from their mouths as they crumpled to the ground.

---

Seconds later, a group of giants charged forward, their massive axes raised high, creating a shockwave as they swung their weapons. But to their surprise, Rua leaped into the air, her leg extending in a perfect arc.

“WHOOOSH! CRACK! SPLATTER!” Heads exploded, necks snapping cleanly. Blood pooled as the lifeless bodies collapsed to the ground, shaking the earth beneath them.

“Argh, this brat is so ruthless,” one giant, more resilient than the others, tried to close the distance. Rua’s glowing left eye flickered, and with a swift sidestep, she twisted her body gracefully. Her elbow slammed into the side of his head with a sickening “CRUUUNCH!”

His skull caved in, and he fell with a grotesque thud.

Rua, her clean clothes and pristine body untouched by blood, moved through the carnage as if it were nothing. The S-rank warriors, now terrified, couldn’t fathom how her skin and clothes remained free of blood.

“She’s so strange… how is her body rejecting the blood? What the hell is she?” one of the demon generals muttered, his face filled with fear.

On the sidelines, Sylthara observed intently, her interest growing with each movement. “I didn’t expect that the fragile child from the forest would become a nightmare for these arrogant demons,” Sylthara laughed, her voice full of excitement.

Kaelan, the mighty hero, marveled at the display. “Wow, this is my first time seeing someone move like that. It’s strange, but it’s also extremely efficient,” he said, his gaze fixed on Rua.

“Hahaha, not only is she beautiful, but she’s also a beast at fighting,” Kaelan smirked, his admiration for Rua growing. “She’s definitely an absolute genius to think she could fight those guys with just one eye closed,” the Demon King commented, equally intrigued.

Back in the thick of battle, Rua’s presence was suffocating. The remaining S-rank warriors encircled her, their confidence shattered. They attempted a coordinated assault, but Rua was unstoppable.

A giant raised his massive fist to crush her. Rua dashed forward, her speed blinding. She leaped, landing effortlessly on the giant’s arm, and delivered a devastating strike to his face.

“BOOOOOOM!” The sound reverberated like thunder as the giant’s head exploded, bones and flesh scattering in all directions. The massive body toppled, sending shockwaves through the ground.

Rowan, who had been observing everything in disbelief, gasped. “Kayna… just what kind of monster have you given birth to?” he muttered, still feeling the overwhelming power Rua was holding back.

---

Rua’s presence grew even more oppressive. Those who dared approach her found their heads bursting apart before they even reached her.

“POP! POP! POP!” One by one, the warriors fell, their skulls rupturing under the immense pressure of her unleashed aura. Blood rained as Rua moved like a shadow—untouchable and relentless.

A desperate elf cast a spell from afar, “Ugh, die you monster!”

Rua noticed the elf’s spell with her Eternal Sight. She turned her glowing gaze toward them.

“SHRRIIIIIP!” The elf’s head exploded before the spell could even form, the sound of rupturing flesh and spraying blood filling the battlefield.

---

The remaining survivors froze, their confidence shattered. “What the hell is this?” they muttered, fear evident in their voices. “What are we even fighting here?”

Rua stood alone amidst the carnage, her expression still blank and emotionless. Her left eye pulsed ominously, casting an ethereal glow. The silence was deafening, broken only by the sound of dripping blood.

Rua tilted her head slightly and spoke with cold indifference. “Still want to fight?”

None dared to answer. The remaining warriors staggered back, trembling under her unrelenting gaze.

Rua walked through the bloody battlefield, her clothes still pristine, her body repelling any impurity that might touch it. She didn’t even notice Princess Angelica, who had just awakened and was staring at her in awe.

“Hmm…” Angelica’s vision was blurry, but as it cleared, she could see Rua’s full appearance. “You’re the girl from that forest,” Princess Angelica whispered softly.

Tears streamed down her face as she scanned the shocking bloody carnage around her. “I really want to thank you… for saving me in that forest…” she sobbed, her voice trailing off as she saw the aftermath of the battle. But before she could say more, the pressure from the S-rank warriors’ auras overwhelmed her. Her vision of Rua faded as she lost consciousness.

Rua, still unaware of Angelica’s presence, continued her relentless slaughter. The elf elder, whose legs were shaking, finally succeeded in summoning her final trump card.

“Hahaha, it’s finally succeeded! Lady Eryn, the Celestial Elf, whose power rivals that of a Demon king—your life is over now, brat!” the elf elder said, her eyes gleaming with madness.

Hahaha, this is just Rua handicapping them. She only used martial arts and Eternal Sight in this one, and she even had one eye closed, hehe.
