Mira's POV:

"The tournament is over!" - Mikazuchi

The Spirit Lord shouted as she used lightning to split the stage between Shiro and the werewolf. 

"You bastards..." she growled while glaring at me. "You never planned to play with me from the start!!"

...and now she's suddenly crying. She's kind of cute like this...

Okay, maybe not! Now she's starting to emit sparks again!

"I am so going to punish-!" - Mikazuchi

*BANG!!*

But before the Spirit Lord could take any action, a pillar of light fell on her from the sky...what?

Hey, what just happened? Everyone is in a stupor due to the sudden event, so they are just standing there with their mouths open. I'm fine, now at least. The crazy adventures I have survived have toughened me up. Not to mention my training during my childhood...

"Miss Mira! We are moving into phase two!" said a voice from the air. But the sky's empty...ah!

From the apparently-empty sky gradually appeared a large figure. That serpentine body leaves no doubt. It's a Loong. And one covered in black scales. It's the "exceptional" Loong from old man Ling's Dungeon. The former Dungeon Boss. The Shadow Loong that's was called "Kalong" before we took over the place. Someone jumped down from his head and ran toward me. 

"Nice timing, vice-president," I greeted Blot after I finally recognized him.

"Stop joking around! We have to hurry and return to Invi-*smack*-ouch!?" - Blot

It's been such a short since the last time I saw him and he's turned into a hysterical mess. Is he missing Filyn too much? I can imagine something like that happening to Revi, but Blot is an adult man. 

"Take some deep breaths and start explaining. First, why did you kill that girl!? Enemy or not, that was too sudden and merciless!" - Mira

"N-no, you are wrong! That is my specially created [Dimension Magic] magic, "Training Grounds". I invented it to allow Filyn to release some stress. Even Miss Mikazuchi will not be able to escape, so I saved it for a final backup plan...and that is of no importance right now! Hurry and assist your childhood friend!" - Blot

"You're trying to casually switch the subject from that you invented a Dimension-type spell even when you (according to Garami) have no efficient magician classes, aren't you?" - Mira

"N-no, I am not!" - Blot

Bullseye. And I can understand why Filyn loves being with him. 

"And do you not care about your friend?!" - Blot

"I have complete trust in Zaria that she can survive whatever comes her way, or whatever mess she makes for herself." - Mira

"You do...? Ugh, just please hurry up and obtain the treasure! We need to finish this farce and return to Invidia post-haste-!" - Blot

But before he could finish, several magic circles started to appear around him without warning.

"H-hey, what are you doing?" - Mira

"No, this is not me-!" - Blot

Following my bad feeling, I leaped backward away from Blot. The magic circles started to produce the same kind of light pillar that Mikazuchi was hit with, and in the next second, Blot was gone...

"BWA-HAHAHAHA! It worked! We got that damn incubus!!" - Henry Gardenolf

The werewolf started to laugh like a common thug after Blot disappeared while something on his hand was glowing golden. Another rare item? And did he say "incubus"? I thought he was a human species. 

"Hey, werewolf! That was your doing!?" - Shiro

"It's Mister Garenolf to you! Everyone! We're back to plan A!" - Henry Gardenolf

With the werewolf's shout, several black-coated men appeared among the audience and started using sealing-type skills on the crystal golems. Hmm? ...oh, now I get it. A betrayal.

"BWA-HAHAHAHA! As if his majesty would let a nobody become one of his Twelve Lords! Everyone, leave no crystals behind!" - Henry Gardenolf

Thanks for the details I needed. If I should summarize this situation, it should be something like this:

1. The Demon King, or perhaps the werewolf himself, tricked Mikazuchi into believing she was the replacement for that user of the [Humility] skill that was killed by Filyn, but that was a bluff.
2. The real reason for this is to hunt the crystal golems...from the looks of it. It could be that they also wish to capture Mikazuchi with the treasure in the Treasure Tower.
3. Since they don't have the power to face Mikazuchi head-on, the werewolf and his allies currently sealing golems left and right tricked the girl into allowing them to join her team and wait for her to be weakened.
4. Our actions, such as sealing the Spirit Lord and destroying the barrier at the Treasure Tower, allowed these guys to return to their original hard-handed tactics. 
5. The werewolf has some other toys outside that dangerous sealed sword of his. Something that forcefully activated Blot's spell on himself.
6. I can see that many of his black-coated friends have similar sealed items they are using. Whether their powers are equal to the werewolf's katana is a different story, but they would not use them if they were weak, at least.

There, the whole story. I understand why Garami loves her [Thought Acceleration] skill. It makes understanding the situation so much easier. Even if has only been around 5 seconds in real-time. Enough time for the giant golem to start attacking the werewolf's gang. 

"Tch! Hey, new guy! Show that hunk of crystal who's boss!" - Henry Gardenolf

And the one who followed the werewolf's command was...the giant lion. Tch, he's also part of their crew.

"Hey, isn't this bad?" asked Artemis who had gone and picked up Sara... Hey, why're you asleep? 

"Let's run! The big dragon up there's our friend, right? Then let's run!" shouted Shiro who had jumped off the stage and gathered with us.

I'm not against her idea though. Blot can simply teleport himself back to the Dungeon after he gets out of the pocket dimension, so let's pick up Akai and Zaria and-

"BWA-HAHAHAHA! Nobody can stop us! Watch us, Pope Serviel! Lord Chaos!! We are going to show those bastards in Solomar!" - Henry Gardenolf

He remembers something about Invidia!? Not that it's enough to fight a losing battle-

"Those bastards who kicked us out of our turf! Those blasted Black Hands!!" - Henry Gardenolf

......hmm?

"...forget about retreating." - Mira

"What?" - Shiro & Artemis

"Hya-haaaa! I got you-!" - Nameless black-coated grunt

One jerk came at us with a sealed spear, ready to strike, so I transformed my skin into crystal (thanks to [Spirit's Crystalized Skin]) and smashed his face in.

"GYAA-GOB-GUAAAARG!?" - Nameless black-coated grunt

The nameless jerk flew from the power of my punch, skipped the ground a few times, and finally crashed into the stadium wall where he finally went quiet. But his face cannot be allowed to be shown to children anymore. 

"Wh-what power!" - Shiro

"Huh!? Wasn't that girl supposed to only use swords?!" - Henry Gardenolf

A girl got to have some secrets. And this one is something only my "family" knows about. Not that I would mind telling Garami about it. Neither would they. 

"Forget about retreating. Hey, Shadow Loong! Get those black-clothed bastards and save the crystal golems!" - Mira

The Loong, in between dodging some attacks from the black coats with long-range weapons, gave me a salute and started showering the thugs with its shadow-type breath while making sure not to hit the golems. We were right. This guy is exceptional. 

"M-Mira, ma'am? Are we not retreating...?" - Shiro

"No way in hell! Artemis! Go and support the giant golem!" - Mira

"EEEHH!? You just fought with that guy a few hours ago!" - Artemis

"Yesterday's enemy is today's friend!" - Mira

"But the date hasn't changed!!" - Artemis

"Just do it already! I'll buy you some luxury sushi if we survive." - Mira

"Sushi?" - Sara

"That's what it takes to wake you up!!?" - Shiro

"Good timing. Sara, join in assisting the giant golem," I told the nekomata while firing some crystal spears through Force Shot at some other jerks that were trying to attack us.

"Roger-doger," said Sara before running toward the lion and giant golem. With the speed of an old grandma. 

"Will I also get sushi?" - Artemis

"From the same chef as the emperor of Wakoku. I got connections." - Mira

"GOLEM! YOUR HERO HAS ARRIVED!" shouted the tiger Therianthrope as she ran toward the fighting giants. I'll ignore the flashing cameras from the audience seats where a strange barrier has been placed. 

"Hey, hey. Fighting these terrorists is too foolish..." - Shiro

"Shiro, keep that werewolf busy for a while," I demanded from the vampire as I pointed at the werewolf who hadn't processed all the craziness that was going on in the stadium.

"NO WAY! Do it yourself!" - Shiro

"I could, but that guy is running [Aura of Darkness]. It's fatal for a Spirit of Light like me to get hit by that head-on." - Mira

"What's with that scary-sounding skill!?" - Shiro

"You bitch! How did you know about that?!" - Henry Gardenolf

"Because your panda-friend showed us. And from your reaction just now, I can say for sure that you have it." - Mira

"Wha-!? You little-!" - Henry Gardenolf

"Ehh...I don't follow here." - Shiro

"That guy released way too many steel arrows before. It's due to a skill called [Chaotic Concurrency], the only Chaos attribute skill in the world. We met someone else who proclaimed themselves as the Champion of Chaos before, and she could use both the Chaos- and the Aura skills." - Mira

"So that's why you knew he had it! That dark aura-thingy!" - Shiro

"It was just a hunch without any proof to back it up. It's this idiot here that blew his cover." - Mira

"I'm gonna so-!" - Henry Gardenolf

"Therefore, you fight for me. I got somewhere else to be." - Mira

"I can't! I'm going to hurt my teeth again!" - Shiro

"Stop ignoring-!" - Henry Gardenolf

"I'll send an assistant to you to help you with that problem. Just buy time for now, and I'll make sure that Blot helps you with the promised reward." - Mira

"As you wish, ma'am!! Come at me, wolfy!!" - Shiro

Shiro jumped at the werewolf with blood daggers in both hands while I ran from the arena.

"Boys! No need to hide it anymore!!" shouted the werewolf from the stage. That can't be good.

And as I feared, two of the black-coated grunts came at me. And they both were covered in a black aura. They all got the Champion skills? What's wrong with this Champion of Chaos?

Nevertheless, I swiftly dealt with the grunts. I just created a new crystal lance and had the local spirits enhance it into a thunder spear. The grunts were shocked into the next week.

Strong items and skills alone won't be enough to defeat me. Especially now that we're technically the Spirit Lord's "allies" against these mass-produced "Champions". I couldn't use the abilities of my Spirit Commander before because the smaller spirits were too afraid of going against the Spirit Lord. Now I only need a proper weapon and I can fight at 100%!

"There she is!"

"Stop her!"

"Strip her and spread her legs!"

And there are more black coats outside the arena. Some of them are real perverts too. And they are all armed with those sealed weapons...

"No time for window-shopping then," I said as I cracked my knuckles and took a quick look over the best weapon I could swipe from these guys. I better hurry. Who knows how much trouble Zaria may be in right now.

*CRASH!!*

A noise was heard from the Treasure Tower. A piece of the wall fall apart, and from the dust flew a bat-like human. No need to double-check. It's Zaria. And she's flying fanatically as if she's running away from something.

Three seconds after that, the "something" came after her as well. A giant, jellyfish-ish dragon that emitted lightning with way more voltage than even the Spirit Lord...

"Oh. That much trouble." - Shiro

Time to save my friend. Yet again.
