This is not a chapter! This is just a picture dump with my fanart of my own characters... which, I guess makes it not a fan-art? But I  don't view them here as canonically-drawn either. For starters, their hair is wonky colors as are their eyes. In story's reality, it's actually black for either of them, but I'm too bored with drawing them like that and wanted to highlight the personality differences between the two. Nekohiko always leans to cold tones while Abihiko uses warm ones. Anyway, I stopped being lazy and in the sprinting session of nonstop drawing finally colored that earlier picture of them as kids! So here they are!

Please ignore the weird bamboo twigs all around them. They are NOT in a bamboo grove. They're just posing against a quirky bamboo-themed wallpaper, for whatever reasons (school photo-taking event?). And yes, I know. I suck at drawing bamboo, but I really wanted to give them some cutesy background to nullify the "floating heads" effect. ^^

Oh, and just because I'd been so lazy with coloring them for so long, I did the adult version as well! Not adult per se... they're supposed to be around 16 here since it's them from ~ chapter one. Anyway, here's the adult version ^^!

I have zero idea why they'd be posing with the murder weapon all pretty and ambiguous here... But they do ^^. No bizarre bamboo this time. I managed to control myself *~*.

P.S.: Also, I'll finally get to work on another character's picture! I actually started drawing that other character first, but then realized how inappropriate it would be for him to have a drawing revealed before the protagonist and the antagonist (or the main couple, depending on the part of the book they're in)!
