Time : Sometime in the very far future.

Location : Planet earth (origin of all sentient civilization).

While Ming Lin is walking towards his research lab at 5 o'clock in the morning the slightest breeze entering through the folds of his clothes tickles his neck. when the fit of shivering overtook all of his body Lin hurriedly tucked himself in his furry clothes and hunched himself forward slightly then he hastened his pace towards his destination.

At the age of twenty-nine Lin still couldn't get rid of his vulnerability to the slightest drop of temperature.

Even though he could use his "skin-suit" to ward-off the cold or heat Lin still didn't activate it because it did cost "nova-fuel" to do so.

The skin-suit is one of the most commonly used inventions of humanity. Be it space traveling or nova-fuel collecting it truly enabled humans to step well beyond the restrictions of their mortal bodies and accomplish countless miraculous feats.

The worst suits currently available in the market are capable of withstanding one ton of pressure per single body-cell and would consume up to one drop of liquid nova-fuel per hour.

What about the one Lin is wearing then? well it consumes a total of one hundred drops of nova-fuel per second once activated! simply because it doesn't only enable him to withstand the pressure of one nuclear bomb's explosion per single cell. It also allows him to heighten his five senses to something way beyond a normal human being's capabilities. It reaches almost the stand-still time in focus! his concentration becomes enormously hypersensitive and time is stretched extremely taut that it almost feels like time just stopped for the suit user which in this case is Lin.

One of the noticeable and unbelievable options of his suit is the ability to accelerate to a speed barely lower than the known speed of Light. Of course there is other simple options to avoid this slight trouble of Lin's weakness to cold weather yet his "pride" prevented him from using any of them.

'As if I will wear those embarrassing tights! I would rather enjoy the cold.' Lin shivered inwardly at the mere thought of wearing that simple invention then forged-on while trying hard to remove the memory of himself wearing it from his brain.

He dreamed of the day he receives his "cell-alteration operation" and that is the thing Lin has been mostly wishing for the past few years.

People who replicates their mortal cells with "genesis" cells gains the ability to fly without the need for skin-suits. Their new cells are capable of functioning normally like their original cells but they are capable of resisting pressure, heat, cold, and lack of air or nutrition to a frightening degree.

However. Despite being fully capable of undergoing the operation any time he wants Lin still didn't do it yet.

“My universe is improving each second on all fronts. Right now I'm only twenty-nine years old. Anyone can undergo the genesis operation from the age of twenty-one at minimum to forty at maximum. In these eleven long years to come who knows how much we'll advance on the endless ladder of evolution and technology. If I made that choice now impulsively then maybe after eleven years I might feel like dying from regret for making a decision too soon. I'll just calmly wait until I reach the limit of age then undergo my operation with a relaxed conscience. ”

That was the answer Lin gave to the host during a recent interview to answer a fan's question.

He was asked : Why didn't you undergo the genesis operation yet?

Frustration filled his chest when Lin shivered underneath his thick layers of clothes. Taking a long and cold breath to quench it Lin looked up at the large glowing sign on top of his laboratory's building.

Sun-Moon.

That is the name of his own private research facility. Lin choose the name himself after reaching the age of ten years old.

His story started long before reaching that age since Lin isn't originally born on planet earth.

Ming Lin was born on a human colony located east of the known now as the "ministry's universe".

Ever since he came to begin to understand his existence young boy Lin knew he wasn't like everybody else in his family. His brothers and sisters weren't the same as him. His own mother was different as well! the way Lin looked at the world differed in the cognitive perspective compared to those around him in the whole community.

Fortunately. Lin found his relief and release for his inborn discomfort of being different in the sounds communicating with him in his head whenever he felt like it. Young boy Lin opened his mind and started accepting information even in his sleep without rest because for him it was the only fun thing to do! unlike others. Lin didn't get overloaded with information and hit knowledge walls or stumble on his own lack of brain-processing capabilities. (which is the normal result to expect for every one he knew!)

By the time he reached the age of three years old Lin became aware of where he is and who kept sending him all that information. It is called the "knowledge ministry" and is the largest association of this whole universe which humanity conquered thoroughly from east to west and from north to south. Why would humanity go so far as to conquer a universe you might ask? For more resources mainly and to spread the growing population in habitable zones on secondary basis.

Their aim? To uplift humanity as a whole and save it from a horrible catastrophic event which is coming towards this unfortunate universe. Their transmission of free knowledge is their way of recruiting more talents to help the ministry in their goal of developing faster. Only by doing that may humanity side-step and avoid that incoming crisis before it is too late! boy Lin just spent his time in his solitude to accumulate more of the fun knowledge and process it. The fact that his divorced mother was extremely busy with the issues and matters of his four older siblings helped a lot in giving him space to learn more in peace.

All until he reached the age of four years old. At that time Ming Lin had just underwent a mental test given by the transmission from the knowledge ministry and as it turned out the young him had just passed the official test for becoming a human with the title of "saint".

If it was anybody else then it would've been something but for young Lin it was something great! simply because he was only four years old while the youngest record at that time for attaining sainthood was twelve years of age! why? Because humanity in the future imploded in the universe and their numbers did in all honesty exceed hundreds of quadrillions plus how knowledge isn't something static.

Each second humanity makes breakthroughs in all subjects and aspects of knowledge and came up with improved materials and inventions! to become a saint then you first need to choose a certain subject then study it's basics. Comprehend these basics and solidify your foundations by learning knowledge to the summit of advancement in that specific subject. Imprint all that insane amount of knowledge in your brain then take the test through the knowledge transmission. Finally you need to succeed in that test of course.

To learn all knowledge related to a certain subject from "A" which is the beginning of humanity until "Z" which is present time is a great accomplishment for a kid at the age of four it is beyond genius.

Media surrounded their home and artificial-bodies belonging to those like the minister of the knowledge ministry himself! the chairman of the ministry as well as vice-chairman and the nine councilors visited their house and smiled broadly with excitement overflowing from their artificial-eyes.

Business tycoons and superstars of all categories and professions such as saints, great-saints, sages followed the news with excitement and his name became the talk of an entire universe overnight! the whole universe suddenly placed the family of a mother and her five children under the spotlight and all of this hubbub was caused by Lin's accomplishment.

After the mother discovered her son's achievement she knew. This odd kid of hers won't be staying with her anymore otherwise she'll be the common enemy number one of an entire universe! her being always busy with work and neglect of her young one was partly a reason for his current achievement she knew.

Selfishly she still refused to hand her youngest son over at once and took full-liberty of her right to keep her minor boy in her company for one week's time before handing him over to the knowledge ministry's safe hands. After her son wrecked the world record of attaining sainthood he was no longer only her son! but humanity's "hope" for salvation.

That week Lin almost never left his crying mother's embrace. Saying sorry over and over to young boy Lin his mother would end up crying herself to sleep hugging him who didn't feel wronged by his mother at all neither before he became a saint nor afterwards.

Finally the week was over and Lin's mother had to hand him to the people of the ministry.

Lin stood next to his mother at the door of their two-rooms tiny apartment facing the artificial body of the most knowledgeable person in the universe -and most influential as well- who patiently stood in wait for a while in front of their house for Lin and his mother to come out with expectations all over his face. That man's artificial-body went down on one knee in front of him and smiled ingratiatingly.

“Do you know who I am?”

The white-haired version of an elder with a medium-sized white beard asked while squinting his eyes slightly. The minister was experiencing the happiest moment of his entire life when he asked Lin that! of course Lin knew him however the young him was still experiencing some feelings of unwillingness to leave his mother's side in that moment. She kept hugging him and crying for a whole week previously after all and as a kid his emotions had simple reasons to cause them to flow strongly without reason.

Nodding once was all Lin did to answer the old minister and one of the three "great-sages" currently alive plus his achievement of being first great-sage in six generations worth of ministers.

“Heh. Holding a grudge already? still I wouldn't mind it as long as you help steer us clear and away from the incoming storm. Lady Ming you be absolutely sure that the comfort and support Lin will receive from my ministry will be the absolute best anyone can offer.”

The elderly minister ruffled Lin's hair with a kind smile that didn't mind the pouty lips small Lin was showing him. Then raising the silent kid who felt ashamed after getting his thoughts read by the minister prior. The minister bowed slightly with respect for Lin's mother gratefully and assured her of her son's future accommodations when he stays in the ministry's care.

The mother hid her face in her palms and got overtaken by a crying fit when she heard these words. Sighing the minister gently patted her shoulder once then turned to leave with Lin hugged at his artificial chest. Lin saw his older siblings surround their mother and hug her back inside then his youngest sibling would turn and give him a wink and a short wave of goodbye before closing the door.

That was the last meeting between Lin and his five family members in person and now twenty-five years later he is millions of light years away from his mother and siblings.

The only connection between them is when Lin calls them or occasionally when he finds time to use his artificial-body to pay his family members a somewhat-realistic visit.

The ministry's chain of command were very careful in transporting young Lin from the location of his colony in the east to home planet earth and headquarters of the knowledge ministry in milky way galaxy. The minister and the other eleven members from the ministry paying Lin's birthplace a visit using artificial-bodies used their own advanced artificial-bodies to fuse into an extremely fast space-travelling life-capsule that carried small Lin home to the source and origin of humanity.

During the four years of his transportation these dozen of elderlies didn't stop interacting with the kid and whenever they were free they taught him personally and Lin never disappointed them once by showing them the results they were expecting of him and more to spare.

Like a bottomless pit he absorbed all kinds of knowledge then he came to know the truth of the situation his universe is going through.

The start was quite some time ago long before humanity broke through the invisible barrier and learned the methods of true space-travelling and cultivated other planets and asteroids with different colonies to accumulate resources and discover new materials for their united aim.

The story began at planet earth and here how it goes. There was this professor of quantum physics a very diligent and bright man who never stopped loving to experiment and fantasize about the wonder of time's relation to gravity and how it's laws operate.

Finally -and after much deliberation- (said-professor) gathered his courage and published a theory about the probability of actually peeking at the past if certain conditions were met. Of course he was laughed-at by the "realistic gallery" of physicists and that was that until a quick-witted wealthy businessman heard of what underwent in that laughable event then he happened to meet the professor afterwards in a fund-raising gathering by coincidence. After chatting non-stop for the whole night the businessman was dead-set on seeing this research thoroughly to the end.

Investing all his wealth on the strange venture he ended up losing all his money in the following few years and his wife died choking on her own grief when she discovered their financial situation. Then his only daughter in a strange twist of fate ended-up ignoring her foolish father which she never stopped blaming for causing her mother's death.

For fifty years the businessman patiently waited for news of success in creating his funded invention with waning hope for success that grew fainter each day while his own life grew weaker within his aging body.

Many times he regretted taking such risky venture especially after his wife passed away and his daughter grew up and left him the businessman never stopped blaming himself every second for taking the wrong decision in his youth.

When that businessman was at his deathbed wrestling the grim-reaper his daughter whom he didn't see in person for twenty-five long years barged into the room and threw herself at his chest and cried while holding a small silvery-round disk of metal in her hand.

Turned out that the invention was finally successful and the first creation alongside the sole right of owning this invention were given long ago to his only daughter and first result of the project is held in her grip.

The same daughter who refused to meet him after leaving his house who denied him the joy of meeting his grandchildren or the privilege of talking to her at least on the phone. Just like how he denied her the lifestyle she should've grew up in and denied her the joy of growing up with her mother embracing her to sleep if she got startled by a bad dream.

“You're insane! that money didn't belong to us. Our daughter! didn't you think of our daughter's future when you gave all that money away?”

That was the last line her dear mother said to her father in the only argument she witnessed between her parents. Next second her mother clasped her forehead after screaming these words in the face of her guilt-feeling husband.

Three days later after witnessing that argument the four years daughter attended her mother's funeral and her anger at her father never stopped or weakened until she received that metal disk someday by mail.

That little "thing" projected for the angry daughter the life of both her mother and father! it displayed their interactions, conversations, goals, achievements, worries, and hopes.

Coming to know about the endless moments of regret her father experienced after losing his wife and the sheer dedication he gave to create wealth equaling almost twenty times what the richest family on earth had that time.

Still he refused to take a single penny for himself from all that wealth.

Leaving it all for his daughter to enjoy was his only reason for accumulating such wealth. Sadly the girl had changed her name and filed a restraining order on her unworthy father in her rage during her youth and he couldn't communicate with her without having the authorities making a big deal of it and confiscating some of his daughter's money. That was how her father always called the money he worked on accumulating all his life.

All he could do is wait for death while he burned with the cruel fires of regret and hoping that after his death this beloved daughter of his will come to accept her inheritance one day after he is gone.

“Father I've wronged you my whole life.”

Breathing his last the businessman died with a smile on his face when he heard his daughter's tearful apology and sensed her warmth for the last time when she buried her head on his chest.

That invention was humanity's first true breakthrough in advanced technology and is now being called the era of awakening.

“Sigh. If only they weren't that dark and corrupt that time.”

Lin shook his head to clear his thoughts of the history of humanity then walked towards his assistant and vice-manager which is waiting for him behind the invisible front of his sun-moon facility.

Sarah. The big-chested loli waited for him with a cheerful smile on her face as usual. These wide green eyes and long eyelashes were Lin's secret to relaxing his weary mind that never stops thinking about countless topics all at once and mostly for no reason.

Sarah is someone with great achievements herself and even though she looks twenty something her true age is over forty but mentioning that topic in front of her is a taboo and Lin came to understand that early in his life! because she underwent her genesis operation at the age of twenty-three then her altered cells won't age like normal human cells however. Her best achievements are her attaining sainthood at the age of thirteen and right now she is only two people away from becoming an established "sage" herself and joining the ranks of the true titans of humanity.

"Knowledge imprinting technique" the method which is solely exclusive to knowledge ministry didn't unfairly separate humanity into classes of lower and higher and gave all humans the same equal chance to raise in both rank and status.

Knowledge is available to all and those who are capable of learning more receives more privileges as a reward.

Money kind of lost all it's worth and gradually ethereal knowledge and information exchange became the true goals for success. If Sarah experienced a few moments of clarity and her rate of processing information heightened then she can bypass the two other seniors ahead of her and claim the sage title at once before they do. All it came down to in the end is how well you imprint knowledge in your brain and that is what matters if you seek success these days.

Only problem is that saint and great-saint ranks requires the accumulation of knowledge on one and three subjects respectively. To jump from great-saint to sage? Not only do you need to accumulate knowledge on five complete subjects of knowledge but also you need the perfect fusion of two different topics of your own choice then an invention of your own making to help humanity prosper.

“Good morning Lin. Did you sleep well?”

Sarah's eyes glittered with deep hidden affection for the tall and thin Lin who hunched his back forward and tightened his clothes to prevent cold from invading in. She asked while doing her best not to tease this crush of hers and direct superior on his comical sight.

“Morning Sarah. It was alright just the weather is a bit cold right now. How did the trials with the ionized component go?”

Lin unwillingly tore his eyes from Sarah's beautiful face and asked about work to distract the beauty away from the embarrassing topic.

“You'll find all the data ready on your space once you reach the office. Since nothing needed your immediate attention I took the liberty of organizing them according to your preference and let you get some more sleep instead. Go on. I'll bring your coffee right away.”

Like a good wife fully aware of her husband's habits Sarah answered Lin then turned to walk inside and her dancing hips stole the breath of dear -virgin- Lin when his eyes fell on them.

Again tearing his eyes away from the woman which he almost wanted to stretch his hand to hold hers at least once in this life. Lin shook his head to scatter all these unhealthy thoughts and walked towards the elevators then his office to analyze the latest update on the data of the fusion trials.

while he checked the data Lin's mind wandered in one of its journeys once again.

Thinking about the daughter who took all the money her late father earned for her sake. How she thought long and hard how to eternize her father's memory then honored him by buying a whole country then sponsored building the best research facilities for scientists and researchers.

The cornerstone for current knowledge ministry is her doing. Afterwards the invention called "oracle" was distributed to humanity by the daughter which helped in increasing her already exaggerated assets to almost triple what her father left her.

Then humanity did what it did best through the ages.

All kinds of different opinions about the oracle invention were made. Some agreed on the right for themselves and the next generations to know the truth of their earlier predecessors. Some frowned upon the creation of oracle and saw it as a type of severe invasion of privacy. Religious followers saw it as a blasphemy to the creator and demanded all knowledge of the oracle project to be destroyed and completely erased from history or else!

Typical human response they couldn't truly appreciate the difference between one another and tried to influence each other instead.

Once the smart businessman's daughter discovered the possibility of harm reaching her dear father's legacy. She took the first wave of profits from distributing the oracle device and funded the creation of another project. That project later came to be the only reason that helped in keeping what remained of the so-called "sanity" of the human mind in the following generations.

The businessman's daughter supervised the creation of a very vast, deep, sturdy, and -most importantly- a very concealed shelter underneath her land. Then made sure to facilitate that shelter with the best technologies, tools, and workforce. Provided it with enough provisions and resources for research purposes then she recruited the best of the best from everywhere around the world to join them in hiding from a world that was going absolutely mad.

Finally she managed to gather over twenty-thousand people and all of them were experts in what they do.

Luckily she managed to finish her secret mission before the thing that almost wiped-out humanity from the surface of planet earth and when the entrance of her shelter was being sealed shut the "great-war" began.

Humans used to solve their problems before with their fists like barbarians. The people living at the businessman daughter's era were much more sophisticated compared to barbarians. After all there are many ways and many more tools to achieve better results than using a simple fist! and humanity really did stop at nothing that time.

Clearly their problem wasn't a mere metal disk that projected moments of the past. Not at all it is simple actually. The existence of such device will completely expose each and every single wrongdoing and reveal the histories of those in positions of power. If such secrets gets exposed then their positions will forever remain at constant risk and danger.

'Huh! such a thing actually exists? Let's go. This devious creation needs to be eliminated from the pages of history once and for all.'

First it was like that.

Then the chaos that ensued gave rise to opportunists who took advantage of that perfect chance to claim more for themselves and their greed knew no limits. One thing led to another and the first shot declared the signal for a worldwide free-for-all! from a simple pistol to advanced machine-guns from small squads to whole armies armed with fully-advanced weapons of mass-destruction.

Tanks, cannons, missiles, aircrafts, ships, submarines, nuclear weapons, biological weapons..... you name it! madness overtook humans when justice took a long nap. The great-war started with planet earth carrying on its surface seven continents and more than forty-five billion humans. After two-hundred years of endless war and murder planet earth was left with only four continents remaining above sea-level and were already on the verge of fragmenting plus ninety-thousand completely ignorant humans living like prehistoric-barbarians because they eventually regressed to the use of cold weapons after decades of hatred and death ruled the earth.

It turned out that these lunatics used all kinds of advanced weapons until there was no ammunition left to be used at all. During their wars they demolished all kinds of knowledge, facilities, civilization, and what was left of their common sense along the years.

All they had left is the fist and like barbarians they didn't hesitate to use it to take what they wanted as mercy and compassion were gradually forgotten then these good traits withered-away from the hearts of people.

The twenty-thousand people hiding underneath the ground like rats didn't suffer any unnatural death in two centuries of time and their numbers gradually increased until it reached double the amount of the barbarians left living above on earth's surface.

Then the next true breakthrough in advanced technology happened at that time. The descendants of the businessman's daughter and others of those left with their sanity intact developed the first "genetic reactor" The first minister of the knowledge ministry was the first human ever to undergo the genesis operation and alter his body-cells successfully.

A father and daughter were the first and second reasons for Lin's existence. If humans did manage to live like they used to? They would've been no more than what they've been before the great war for sure while ignorantly living unaware of the incoming threat endangering every life in the whole universe.

The businessman's successful business venture caused the loss of his wife who died in grief and sorrow. Caused the separation and short reunion with his only daughter. Caused him years of suffering and regret.

It also nearly caused the extinction of the entire human-race.

His daughter's wise decisions caused the protection of the essence of knowledge and sheltered a spark of reason in a minority of people. Caused the preservation of these elite experts from the miserable events of the great war. Which led to the initial forming of the foundations of the knowledge ministry and another crucial discovery in genetics which played a huge role and contributed greatly by assisting mankind in outer space.

The second "sophisticated breakthrough" of the genesis operation affected humanity more than the oracle project when comparing both inventions on the basis of short-term results.

“Here is your coffee Lin. So! what do you think we should do next? I think this latest version of the genesis-reactor is the most suitable for experimenting fusing these two components. The magnetic-reactor is honestly "ancient" and it caused quite the chaotic flow of data and nobody could analyze a set-pattern for the fusion to actually happen before we experience some kind of power-shortage or other technical problem. Here. Let me show you my analytic-chart.”

Sarah entered the office carrying a simple cup of coffee and placed it in front of Lin. Her entrance halted his mind from digging up more of the wickedness of his ancestors.

While Sarah talked about work poor Lin couldn't stop his eyes from stealing glances at her chest and bottom areas when she stood next to him and started gesturing with her hand. The hologram above the desk kept changing angles and new data appeared with every action Sarah made with her fingers.

“Even though it cost more energy than the magnetic reactor on the short term it indeed looks to be more suitable for our needs. Make preliminary preparations and gather the team for a brain-storming discussion. I'll process this data and try to make various results before the meeting begins.”

Finally Lin knew that he wouldn't be able to hold back his virgin impulsiveness any longer if Sarah kept standing next to him full of openings! Gulping once on a dry throat he created a reason for her to leave his side with unwillingness filling his heart.

'What if? She gets offended by what I do and reflexively swat my weak body away. My end can’t be at the hands of my crush! Getting swatted by her as if swatting some annoying fly is a bad way to go.' Lin thought such thought to kill his fantasies about having this loli right now but he still dreams of the day he takes this woman for himself.

A hint of disappointment surfaced on Sarah's eyes then she smiled slightly at Lin who awkwardly stood next to her and did his best to avoid eye-contact. She did her best not to hug his cute face and bury it in her chest then retreated from Lin's office to convey his orders to the rest of the team.

'When I get my Sage title for sure.' Sarah had already decided to give herself to Lin once she breakthrough her great-saint rank and become a sage.

Even she felt it to be inappropriate to wed humanity's symbol of hope and great-sage when she is a mere great-saint especially while being more than a dozen years older than cute Lin already.

What she couldn't achieve in over forty years he did once he was ten! if she didn't care about her face then she needed to at least be mindful about Lin's reputation.

At that time she was watching the news of the boy who headlined every single screen and news platform. The shaking waves of his unbelievable achievement reached the core foundation of humanity's understanding.

Those who were hesitant about admitting Lin's title as humanity's hope before when he attained the saint title at the age of four years laughed uproariously as tears of joy fell down their cheeks when they knew of his sage title at a mere decade of age.

Skipping lightly with each step she took and humming some cheerful tune. Sarah went to finish Lin's request with a smile on her face while her thoughts were orbiting how Lin is so lovely, smart, caring, cutie, tall, careful, adorably timid..... etc.

Lin finished his thorough inspection of the data and his head returned to dig up the past of humanity once more. He was starting to feel worry spreading in his chest for some unknown and irritating reason. The kind of worry that is visible to the recipient yet the reason for such worry surfacing in the first place stubbornly chose to remain hidden.

Lin remembered the scenes he saw through the oracle. Scenes of the first genesis-operated minister opening the sealed-shut shelter door which remained closed for two centuries.

Saw the man's shock and feelings of loss when he flew from place to place on the surface of earth only to be met with ruin, devastation, destruction, death, diseases, witchcraft, darkness, injustice, and common insanity among these people roaming earth. The few humans left were no better than cave-men barbarians scattered on what is left of earth after two centuries subsequent to the great war starting.

First minister really was about to smite those foul people whom he felt disgusted in sharing the same kind of species with them. At the last second he gritted his teeth and returned to his great-grandmother back in their sanctuary below this disgusting version of the surface which he spent years hoping to see with his own eyes. She was the last living daughter of the businessman's first generation of grandchildren. After showing her the sights he just witnessed outside the shelter she convinced him to refrain from causing more harm on these misguided souls. Then handed him a hand-written letter from his great-great-grandmother the same woman who wisely ordered the creation of this safe haven.

In the letter was her heartfelt apologies to the next generations. This shelter was supposed to last them for a thousand years before they think of resurfacing again. The businessman's daughter knew that madness was about to burn all those who walked the surface of earth and her only hope was that when her offspring gets out the world's chaos would've been long gone and forgotten.

First minister then understood why the shelter's door was extremely hard to open even for a supernaturally strong individual such as him. After spending a few days calming himself first minister went out again and collected the remnants of humanity from all over ruined earth. Less than a hundred-thousand humans in total and almost two-thirds of them were born with some physical dysfunctions or trouble talking and zero self-awareness.

The task of patiently teaching them to live properly like humans alone took three-hundred years of constant supervision to eliminate all kinds of inborn barbaric habits and violent tendencies from these minority and the effort of a dozen genesis-superhumans to be responsible for the job of constantly monitoring the communities all the time.

Mental and psychological evaluations had to be administered monthly for everyone in these communities!

All until the first surface-born human managed to pass all kinds of mental and psychological evaluations before that man was allowed to meet the minister of that time and received access to learn true history and witness personally the pages of the past.

After three hundred years those who lived on the surface of earth always felt that these flying people were just intolerable bullies because they always prevented them from whoring or resorting to violence whenever they felt like it. They always prevented them from acting on their basic impulses like their ancestors taught them to behave.

When that man knew that his ancestors were the reason this earth which they live in is full of signs of ancient civilizations that got destroyed and erased from history then gradually forgotten and not these strong flying humans. He was deeply ashamed of himself for belonging to such incorrect and misguided communities and even more ashamed of himself for believing this hearsay once.

These flying humans were treating them just exactly how a mother treated her mischievous kids. Constantly showering them with love and care until they repent on their own.

Giving a simple kowtow full of gratitude to the ministry's people. The first person to pass the mental and psychological evaluations left after asking permission to access all information related to the wickedness and evil of humanity from the psychological perspective. Then the third sophisticated breakthrough was accomplished by that man's hands later afterwards. He discovered the reason for humanity's vulnerability to corruption and the source of all this devastation across all eras.

He called it "bipolar-consciousness" which is in other words the good and evil within.

After he witnessed the first cause and act of murder in humanity through the oracle that man drew a perfect mental chart to help keep humans from being completely led by their evil tendencies with minimum effort. Afterwards it became much easier for humans to keep their desires in check and solve their differences through the services offered by different councils in the knowledge ministry.

Now that history can be seen through the oracle justice will always be served through the justice council. Any kind of moral dispute can be handled by the ethics council.

True peace and prosperity finally started falling on the very tired and extremely weary humanity.

When all parties breathed out in relief for the happy ending which finally arrived the fourth and last sophisticated breakthrough of that busy era was achieved.

The other side of the coin. Oracle project always felt like it was missing something crucial to quantum physics enthusiasts.

“Since the past is available for us to take a peek why not delve into the future as well?” that became the most famous question among many physics scientists.

However their invention caused the highest degree of mass panic and despair to spread amongst living humans of that time.

“After all we did to coexist! We are still all going to die?” A reporter shouted these words live when he witnessed the revelation of seeing the future.

Unraveling the future only shows a single scene.

The universe that humanity proudly managed to invade every single corner of it after unimaginable efforts to coexist and prosper. Suddenly and out of nowhere it gets hit from all sides by clusters of flaming-white and insanely huge asteroids. The tiniest of these asteroids is the size of ten-times earth's Sun! Then their courses intersect at some point and they collide eventually. First wave of the collision's after-shocks immediately wipes a third of the universe and turns it into a sea consisting of grey sand particles.

After the shockwaves push these grey particles towards the rest of the damaged universe it causes a mass disintegration effect wherever it goes. Only home planet earth experiences the weakest effect in the universe when these after-shocks sweeps it.

Still that weak effect is a complete disaster because once these after-shocks touches the moon it causes it to instantly explode into smithereens and the sun encapsulates the surface of earth with its fire when it goes out with a bang of solar fire.

The coldest place on earth would experience heat over fifty-thousand degrees Celsius! after a "very" short while of that solar fire scorching the surface of earth until its mass shrinks to the size of a matchbox the grey sand waves of particles arrives and the projection of the events of "end-day" comes to a close to those helpless people attempting to gaze upon the future.

After experimenting in his free time for five years straight Lin managed to replicate a single sand-particle of these grey sand waves and he discovered that the total mass and weight of this dust-like grey grain of sand equaled two or three mountains worth of solid metal in weight and durability! Afterwards he started calling that phenomenon of grey sand waves "disintegration shockwaves" and ever since he took the position of being the leader of sun-moon lab Lin's job is to try and discover or create a material capable of withstanding both incredible heat and insane pressure that will come from these disintegration shockwaves.

“Lin we are all ready for the meeting of brain-storming.”

Sarah's cheerful voice woke Lin from his daydreams and he started to speak with his subordinates about their project. Second thing he enjoyed in his lab other than staring at Sarah's beautiful body is these meetings. He himself got many different ideas during these meetings and surprisingly this time the one who got a sudden light-bulb is Hector the hairy metallurgy expert.

“Alright everyone should run their data and double-check nothing is wrong with Hector's idea. You all know how costly it is to work this reactor. Personally I don't want anything happening to it and the elders nagging me for it later. After all the only reactor we have of this model is currently in the headquarters so if you guys are okay with working under the constant frowning supervision of these seniors then I have nothing to say if you break it later.”

After doing his mental calculations at a hurry to check the validity of Hector's suggestion Lin severed the connection and went to take a calming swim in the pool.

while swimming in the refreshing water Lin couldn't get rid of the sudden unease and worry that started to convulse and contract inside his chest with painful tugs.

“Just what is it?”

Lin couldn't focus on his swimming and checked the vitality-charts of all of his family members including himself before he got out of the water.

“Lin you brat enjoying yourself while I get ordered around by miss Sarah. Come quick! the sound of the fusion is erratic and the reactor is unresponsive to my recovery procedures. As the big boss with supreme authority your presence is required in the

Hairy Hector arrived and spoke while flexing his arm muscles childishly at scrawny Lin to tease him for not having undergone his genesis operation yet.

"Gorillas should stick with other gorillas in the zoo or better yet if they hit the jungle for some fun. Offending your superiors is never a smart move. Deducting certain bonuses here and there is kind-of a fun thing to do after all. Hehehe...."

Lin didn't shy away from making fun of the expert metallurgist who wasn't the most brilliant of his team but his efficiency is second to none when it comes to pinpointing technical problems.

Hector acted like he said nothing wrong or heard anything uncomfortable from Lin and ran ahead for the reactor while sweating bullets from his forehead.

Lin followed Hector to the reactor while going through all the analytic-charts with his head and trying to find what is causing the discrepancy in data and hindering the fusion from happening. Once he stood in front of the holographic monitors and started processing and comparing the data-charts to find the faulty inputs the feeling of unrest in Lin's chest suddenly turned into a stabbing pain! his right hand clutched his aching chest and his skin-suit was activated. While pivoting on his right foot and twisting his muscles to spin like a top in place Lin's left hand pushed Hector on the chest and sent him flying out from the reactor.

“Y....you fucking bully. Don't think that because you're my superior I'll let you hit me-eh!”

Hector's words got cut by the falling reinforced mithril-titanium heavy walls! such walls are only used in the case of a "code black" emergency.

Lin just stood there looking down at his opened left hand the same hand he just used to save gorilla Hector. Lin wondered why he did it since he didn't even like the guy yet he didn't hesitate to save the idiot instead of saving himself. Sighing within Lin looked at the reactor at work through the reinforced barrier that won't be able to save him in case of danger which is bound to come very soon. Only after he felt the stabbing pain fade away did the results of the data his brain processed hit him.

The reactor is unstable and will explode if these two components didn't fuse soon! both clusters of materials inside it were acting like the same pole of a magnet and instead of going closer to one another and fusing they rammed the insides of the reactor like two maddened beasts in a cage.

“Kumar give me an update on the reactor status.”

Lin was already running for the manual-control room before he even asked.

“Eh! boss what are you doing inside the reactor? This is very dangerous you need to hurry up and find the emergency shuttle before it is too late.”

The man looked at the image that appeared above his desk and his eyes widened in terror when he saw his young friend inside the danger-zone.

“Hurry up we have no time to waste.”

Shouting at his subordinate Lin entered the manual-control room and started getting busy. His only aim is to save the reactor from exploding because such thing if happened would mean unwanted delays of the plans his human-race made to survive the events of end day. Not to mention how much damage to planet earth will it cause and how many casualties will the explosion leave in its wake.

“C... currently the reactor is only working at fifty-six percent which is considered safe. Only the matter inside is still in duality form. To reach the intended ionized component certain pressure will be needed but both matters are preventing the reactor from influencing them with the chaotic energy resulting from the constant clashing with the inside walls.”

Kumar kept gesturing with his hand to turn the hologram design of the reactor and reported to Lin the original cause and the following effects of this problem.

“Sarah how much time do we have?”

Lin exited the manual-control room after finishing tweaking some of the heavy levers there then asked while going towards the first door leading through the reinforced barrier to the actual body of the reactor.

“Sniff. T... there is only twelve minutes remaining until the reactor becomes unresponsive to every method we have.”

Sarah was watching in disbelief while feeling her world ending and despair holding her by the throat. Sniffling and crying rivers she said before she covered her face in her palms and wished if earlier today her courage was a bit more.

“Kumar full throttle for the reactor. I'll add pressure at the same time from the emergency ventilation-hatch and let's hope this will work on stabilizing the component and saving the day.”

Lin opened the second reinforced door and entered the premises of the reactor. Flying towards the top without hesitation he ordered the man to work in-tandem with him on preventing the loss of this precious genesis reactor and hopefully preventing a lot more from happening as well.

“No! boss that is an entirely stupid approach because even with your top-quality skin-suit you'll never be able to handle the insane pressure and intense heat while focusing on your own input of pressure. If that was to be done on top of you being a genesis awakened then it might be possible but you aren't a genesis awakened. Please go back to the emergency shuttle.”

Kumar panicked when he watched Lin fearlessly stand on top of the hatch and fully prepared to open it once Kumar boost the reactor with maximum energy. Sarah fell on her chair and her face paled in fear for the safety of the man which she always loved in secret.

“Stop wasting time! I'm ordering you as your superior to work the reactor at maximum speed right now and there is no time to explain so please hurry.”

Lin shouted angrily while following the trickling time with a worried gaze.

Closing his eyes and gesturing with his hand Kumar fell on his chair with the heaviest feelings of loss overcoming him. He felt the worst in being the person to cause possible harm on such unsurpassable genius. He just did it with his own hands and with a single gesture the reactor started shaking like a rattle-drum in the hands of a baby and Lin unhesitatingly opened the ventilation -hatch and flames welcomed his body covered by the suit with its scorching menace.

“GRAAAAAAH......”

“Araaah......”

“Ughhhh......”

“Grunt.......”

“Huff......”

“Gasp.....”

Kumar and Sarah sat there like zombies watching Lin use the full power of his top-grade suit to send a constant stream of energy beams inside the hatch while the flames scorching his suit changed its shape and color on top of him before continuing up in a blazing pillar of immense heat and striking the mithril-titanium walls above after it melted the ceiling. These thick and sturdy code-black walls provided maximum security in the facility yet they started to gradually turn bright yellow with time then orange followed by deep-red color before melting layer after layer.

Lin was being burnt alive and experiencing the worst pain ever yet no matter how much he tried to stifle his screams he couldn’t and his voice grew hoarser and weaker with time until breathing became harder than anything.

Kumar felt his hand that gestured for that to happen shiver non-stop and Sarah felt her heart grow cold while wishing if she was next to her lover right now hugging him tightly to share a portion of his pain with him.

“F... finally… it is.. ov..er.... Huff.”

After ten minutes the reactor stopped and the scorched black suit missing the lower body, right shoulder, right arm and bleeding from what remained of its body which is Lin’s uttered weakly before his floating body on top of the ventilation-hatch fell on top of the reactor then lifelessly stumbled down like a falling rock rolling from a mountain's summit and it smeared marks of blood everywhere it touched.

These ten minutes of hell forced him to shrink the suit’s protection to cover his head, heart, internal organs and left arm to be able to keep sending sufficient energy to force the components to ionize. If he hadn't done so then his life would've ended much earlier and the reactor will end up exploding soon afterwards.

Finally the dazed Sarah woke up from her despair and flew for the reactor room while tears scattered in her path of flight.

The rest of the team of researchers did their best to remove the security measures of the code-black danger and reach their superior faster hoping to manage somehow to keep him alive despite the great damage which he suffered.

'Hurry! I can't hold on any longer and this chip will self-destruct if I don't hand it willingly.' Lin thought when he felt darkness cover his opened eyes while his soul felt like it was ruthlessly being skinned from what remained of his miserable-looking body.

“Lin. Come-on! answer me Lin.”

While Lin was feeling regret for not being able to hand this information about why he stubbornly refused to back-off and the reason he personally had to experience the pain of fire incinerating more than half of his body he heard a voice calling him from somewhere around in this complete darkness.

A voice which he recognized very well to be the sole angel of his fantasy and reality. Sarah.

Without hesitation he opened his mouth to reveal the small chip stuck to one of his molars to Sarah while hoping she is really next to him and he is not hallucinating before breathing his last.

“Dummy. Such a huge dummy! why didn't you ever get the courage to say it? I loved you too and waited and waited for you to say it. Stay with me Lin! don't you dare die on me moron. I’ll never forgive you if you do.”

Hearing these last words made Lin nod faintly once with what remained of his strength.

Then his vital-charts which is shared with almost the whole universe announced his death. Breaking news popped-up everywhere with footage of his act.

“Great-sage Ming Lin is dead!”

Hector who got saved by Lin stood at the side watching this great-sage in such miserable state in the arms of miss Sarah. Lin was no more than half a corpse fully charred black and dropping what remained of its un-burnt blood which spread wider on the floor to create a buddle until it covered Hector's shoes but he didn’t seem to be even aware and kept looking down in disbelief.

Kumar who obeyed the orders hung his head low and he was experiencing difficulty breathing because his throat felt stuffy with a sore lump stuffing it and blocking air from going in or out and He was sniffling silently because mountains worth of burden fell on his shoulders.

Sarah quietly carried Lin out and all the staff in sun-moon research facility followed her in sad silence only to be met with a sea of people outside the facility and more and more arrived join and quickly there was nowhere left for them to stand on the ground and people started to watch while levitating and they covered the sky. Tears fell like rain from trillions following that sorrow march until the symbol of humanity was buried in the soft soil to slumber in eternal rest.

However Lin was no longer part of this world to witness the sad future following his death.
