It has been quite a long time since I last uploade any chapter. Anyway enjoy this new chapter.

Right now the two guys that try to attack me and Ai-chan had been send back to our base. I think I want to do some experiments on them. I mean they probably doesn't have anyone that will miss them or anything. But there is one problem. Their employers. I know who exectly who sent them. The merchants guild of course.

Anyways, we will deal with them later. I doubt they will do anything for a few days at least. Right now we are going to focus on our business empire. Since the guild will be less likely to support us, we need to establish our business as soon as possible.

"Ai-chan, I want you and Viper-chan look around the city tomorrow for any good place to set up our shop."

"Yes, darling."

The next morning Ai-chan and Viper-chan went around the city to look for our shop. As for me I head back to base.

"Scythe-chan are those two people already arrived?"

"Ah, no Your Excellency, they are still inside the transport chopper. ETA 5 hours."

"Noted."

I continue to wait for my lab rats... I mean guest to arrive. Then I realised Scythe-chan that has been gazing me for a while.

"Is there anything you want to ask Scythe-chan?"

"Ah, sorry for my impudence Your Excellency. But what are you going to do with our guests?" Scythe-chan ask me. Well I never expected that she ask this. It looks as if she is a curious child.

"Well you see I have an hypothesis about this thing called Mana. What if Mana is not just a fuel but life itself. Right now we only know how to utilise mana only as fuel, so I need human for some experiments."

From what I can see the elves basically using magic to fuel their civilization. That mean Mana had a very high potential for our advancement. We must unlock it's potential.

After five hours of waiting, we can finally see the transport chopper. We then bring out our 'guests' and send them to my lab.

I feel a bit guilty because this is basically a human experimentation but this is a necessary evil if we want to increase our understanding on this magic system.
