Let's say, for the sake of an argument, there was a story about a man who, I suppose, protected something. Hypothetically, this story saw a decent rise in popularity and was doing fairly well for itself.
Now, let's say the story started taking a downturn in views, follows, and general happiness from its reader base. Would you, a hypothetical reader of this story, find more enjoyment in a more thought out rewrite or prefer the author to just keep writing as he or she is?
A reminder that this is a completely hypothetical problem that in no way has any relation to this story at all and will likely not affect this story unless the majority of you say you prefer a rewrite whatsoever.

Yes rewrite. My understanding is that you moved things along too quickly, and the story/plot ran away from you. I believe in you, and the 70 chapters of inspiration you have to draw from!
Thank you, Peculiar!
While a rewrite would be good, thats just if you actually complete it.
Most authors i’ve seen start a rewrite just lose interest and drop the novel entirely. If you want to rewrite this story, and you think you can commit to it, then that would be great.
Personally, I feel like this story kind of lost the plot when Flake entered the keep. I don’t really know whats going on anymore, so I would appreciate a (good) rewrite.
At the end of the day, its your novel. Just do whatever you want. Provided you are happy with what you are writing, thats all that really matters.
Thanks, Brad
Sure go ahead. If you aren't satisfied with your story then change it.
