Her pale face turned red with anger. Her nervousness disappeared, and she looked at him as if he had done something unbelievable to her.

“You stay away from Brother Chao! He is my fiancé!”

Amphorn: ………. sorry?

Her face became redder as she continued to talk. “Every time we come here to talk to you, Brother Chao is always looking at you, and after we go home, Brother Chao always talks about you.

Brother Chao told me he loved me and that when I became an adult, he would marry me, so you’d better stay away from him.”

Amphorn was shocked. ‘He was stunned by many things she said. First of all, that guy Chao and I never talked except for the one time I told him to stay away from me.

And did she just say Chao told her he loved her? That was the biggest joke I’ve ever heard.

Does Adam love someone? He was the most cold and indifferent person I know.

I was intentionally or unintentionally killed by him in the pernicious worlds I travelled to.

Most of the bodies I traced were children’s bodies, but he never showed mercy. He is someone who does anything and uses everything in his power to achieve his goal.

I thought he was staying with the Lu family because they were business partners, but after listening to her, it is obvious he is going to destroy them. Being liked by Adam is equivalent to having a knife around your neck; you never know when you will die.

I was angry with her earlier because of her words, but now I can’t help but feel sympathy.

Adam kept her by his side and spoiled her, so in the future, Adam is going to torture her. She is going to die without leaving any trace.’

Amphorn looked at her with pity in his eyes and suddenly got a good idea. For an arrogant princess like this woman, normal speech wouldn’t work, so he suddenly raised his arm and cornered her between the walls.

“You! What are you doing?”

Amphorn put his index finger on her lips, leaned closer to her ear, and said, “You see, I do like someone, but that person isn’t your brother Chao. The person I like is you. I fell for you the first time I saw you.

I want to talk to you, but you always bring your fiancé with you. You see, even though I’m not rich, I have a handsome face and body, so we can get together once in a while if you want.”

Amphorn then showed her the best handsome smile he could master. The young woman got flustered and her face turned red and ran away without looking back.

Amphorn had a big smile on his face as he watched her back. Suddenly, his smile vanished without a trace, and he said,

“How long are you going to stand there hiding? Come out.”

Chao appeared from the other side of the wall and stood in front of Amphorn. He asked, “How did you know I was there?” Chao was sure he was hiding in a good spot.

‘The irritating feeling in my chest works like a radar for you, bastard, but I can’t say that.’

Amphorn looked at him and said, “I have a good sixth sense, so I can sense you hiding there.”

Chao raised his eyebrows at the reply and then asked, “Then what are your senses telling you as you stand before me?”

Pttt!

Amphorn couldn’t help but chuckle, but his eyes were filled with coldness. He said whatever came to mind without holding back.

“What my senses tell me now is to stay away from you. You are a heartless monster who can kill people for your own goals. You use people as if they are mere chess pieces and throw them away after they are no longer useful to you.”

Chao's lips twisted as he listened to Amphorn, his eyes filled with amusement, not at all offended by what Amphorn just said. He then nodded his head.

“Your senses are pretty sharp. Now I understand why you didn’t go with your parents. How about this? Why don’t you join me? We can destroy them together.”

Amphorn’s eyes were filled with killing intent after hearing what Chao said. He couldn’t believe what he just heard.

“You want me to join you? Don’t kid with me! I may appear young, but I’m not foolish. You want to destroy the Lu family, and I’m sure that isn’t your end goal. But for me, you or the Lu family are all the same. If possible, I hope you all go to hell together.”

Amphorn then left without looking back. Suddenly, he heard, “I’m going outside the country for work this week, so you’d better stay safe and don’t run around.”

Amphorn didn’t turn his head and walked away. He didn’t want to be around Adam’s double any longer.

The next day, the Lu family came to visit him again. Amphorn was getting impatient with their nagging, so he decided to go with a Plan B.

“I can come with you, but my gut feeling tells me that if I go with you, I’ll encounter a disaster. How about we go to the police and make a statement? Just to be safe. You can at least do that for me, right?”

Amphorn looked at their pale faces and left. If he stayed longer, he might have ended up killing them with his own hands, but he didn’t want to become a murderer who killed people for personal reasons.

After the harsh warning, his days in the temple became calm, but Amphorn knew this was the calm before the storm.

After a few days, while he was watering the plants in the garden, the middle-aged monk came with a face filled with anxiety.

“Amphorn, the elder monk fell ill during his walk behind the flower shop down the street. Can you come and help me?”

Amphorn respected the elder monk very much, but he felt something was wrong. “Elder monk, when did he come back?”

“He came back last night; that’s why you weren’t informed. Can we go now?” The middle-aged monk started to walk without explaining anything.

Amphorn was also worried about the elder monk, so he decided to follow. When he was near the alley, he stopped and looked around, feeling that something was wrong.

The old monk isn’t someone who walks outside like that, and why ask for help from him when there are people nearby?

Just when Amphorn was about to turn and leave, he felt pain in the back of his head. Before he fainted, the last thing he saw was the middle-aged monk's face.
