Amphorn spent three weeks eating, sleeping, and sitting in a daze. He read books about breathing techniques because he thought that would be helpful in the future to improve his body strength.

Bai, who was responsible for Amphorn’s well-being, became free; all she had to do was prepare his meals, and Amphorn took care of other things he needed.

She was worried about his health and tried to ask him to move around, but as always, she was ignored. So she simply did what she could to make his life easier, and in her free time, she went outside to have fun.

At first, she was worried, but after some time, she began to enjoy her free time.

‘Sigh. How relaxing. I don’t need to worry about my food or place to stay. This place is really beautiful and relaxing. More importantly, nobody came to bother me.

I don’t know what Adam planned this time, but I’m going to enjoy it while I can.’

Amphorn was lying on the chair in the garden near his room, and when he was about to fall asleep, he noticed someone standing at the garden entrance.

Amphorn opened his eyes and closed them again after seeing the familiar face.

Master Wei walked into the garden and looked at his new disciple, who ignored his presence and continued to sleep. He rubbed his brows and thought,

‘Sigh. I have never seen anyone disrespect me in my entire life and the people who did have already turned to dust. However, I can’t do anything to this brat. I must have wronged him in my last life.’’

Cough! Cough!

Amphorn opened his eyes, looked at Master Wei, and closed his eyes once again. When Wei saw this, he continued his acting.

Cough! Cough! Cough!?

The last one was the loudest; he was sure even the servant outside heard it, but the child in front of him simply ignored him. So Wei wanted to see how long he could hold on to it.

Cough! Cough! Cough! Cough! Cough!

Amphorn couldn’t take it anymore, so he opened his eyes and asked, “What is it?”

Wei smiled, satisfied with the result, and sat next to Amphorn. “What are you doing?”

“Can’t you see it?” Amphorn was pissed.

“Can’t you say it?”

“What do you want?”

“You do know all the food you eat, the bed you sleep in, and the place you are staying now all belong to me, right?”

“So?”

“I want some respect. You should show some respect to your benefactor.”

“Should I?”

“Shouldn’t you?”

Amphorn: .........*-*

Wei………*-*

Amphorn and Wei just stared at each other. In the end, Amphorn gave up and said, “Why are you here?”

Wei smiled and said, “Since you came here, you haven’t gone outside even once. Do you know how many people outside want to visit the Dragon Sect at least once? But you, on the other hand, stay inside your room.

As your master, it's my responsibility to show you the right path.”

Amphorn stared at the man before him and thought about how he was knocked unconscious and kidnapped here by force and said, “I think I remember refusing your offer.”

Wei pointed at himself and said, “Do you know who I am? Do you have any idea how many outstanding young people out there want to be disciples? Do you have any idea how lucky you are?”

Amphorn thought about his luck and said, “I have no idea who you are, and I have no interest in knowing that. If you talk about my luck, sorry to inform you, but I can’t even remember one moment of my life being lucky.

More importantly, you said I can live however I want while I stay here. So I’m going to live however I please.”

Wei and Amphorn stared at each other stubbornly. Wei wanted to take Amphorn outside and engage him in studying martial arts, but Amphorn didn’t want to go outside.

“As your master, I have the right to disciple you, so you better behave well.”

“I never agreed to be your disciple, so you don’t have the right.”

“If you aren’t my disciple, then you can’t stay here and eat delicious food.”

“You can kick me out if you want.”

“How can you survive with your lazy nature? What will you eat when you get hungry?”

“I’m not sure, but I’m positive someone will come and kill me before I starve to death.”

Master Wei took a deep breath, stood up, and asked him, “So you don’t want to go outside to study martial arts, is that right?”

Amphorn nodded, closed his eyes to rest, and said, “Yes, and I’d appreciate it if you don’t show up often in the future.”

“Oh! Is that so?” Wei couldn’t believe what he had just heard. Someone dared to say such disgraceful words to him, but the annoying thing was that he couldn’t do anything about it. He then left angrily, slamming the door.

Slam!

Amphorn smirked and said, “He seems more tolerant than he looks. I wonder what holds him back. As for learning martial arts, let's think about it after the three months.” He then fell into dreamland.

Haoyu took out the bottle of wine he recently bought and looked around to make sure nobody was around. Just as he was about to drink, suddenly, Wei came in, grabbed the bottle, and drank the wine.

Glup Glup

Haoyu looked at his empty hand and at Wei, who was drinking the wine he had just bought. He took a deep breath to calm himself and said,

“WEI, you better give me a reason not to beat you, or I’ll make sure you won’t have a hand to steal with anymore.”

Master Wei didn’t say anything; he just sat on the chair and sighed deeply. He looked like he had encountered a problem he couldn’t solve.

“What’s bothering you so much that you started to sigh like an old man? Let me think about it. Is it your disciple who made you worry? Everyone in the sect knows about it and asks around who is the new disciple of the great master Wei. I’m sure many young people are jealous of your disciple for catching your eye.”

Wei looked even more sad after hearing what Haoyu said. “Forget being jealous. I’ll be grateful if he shows some respect to his master.

That brat! What am I going to do with him?”

“What’s wrong with him?” Haoyu was curious.
