Master Wei stared at his friend and started to complain, “That brat, he doesn’t want to leave his room or cultivate. When I mentioned kicking him out, he accepted it as if he was waiting for it. I’m sure he’ll end up dead within a day if he leaves here.”

Wei started to mumble like a father worried about his son going the wrong way.

Haoyu thought about it and said, “Well, he does seem to be troublesome, just like when you were young.

Well, you did mention he loves sleep and eating. All you have to do is use that to make him listen to you somehow. Use your scammer's brain; aren’t you very good at that?”

Haoyu then left without looking back, leaving behind Wei, who fell into deep thought.

After a few days, Amphorn had the same visitor as last time, but the problem was the uninvited visitor refused to leave his room.

Amphorn looked at Wei, who was sitting in his favourite spot, and asked, “What are you doing here?”

Wei smiled brightly and responded, “I thought about it. Since you said you won’t go outside, I decided to come to you. I’ll stay with you until you agree to go outside.”

Amphorn stood there for a while, then went to the table and continued to read the book. Wei smiled, put the documents near the window, and started to do his work. In the room, only the sound of a book page turning, and the sound of writing could be heard.

Soon night came.

Amphorn's eyes twitched as he looked at the mess in front of him. Master Wei had put his mattress on the floor and was ready to sleep, but for Amphorn, having someone sleep in the same space as him was an invasion of privacy.

He took a deep breath to calm himself and said, “So you are going to sleep here as well?”

Wei put his long hair down because it was time to sleep and appeared to be more handsome than usual. He smiled and said, “Yes, until you agree to go out with me to learn martial arts, I won’t leave.”

Amphorn then ignored him and lay down on his bed to sleep, but he couldn’t. Wei glanced at his back and decided to build a good relationship with his disciple. He lay on his mattress and asked, “Do you know about the fire flower?”

Amphorn didn’t know but decided not to answer him.

Wei didn’t mind and said, “The fire flower has the same ability as a phoenix, so it is sometimes called the phoenix flower. It can make you reborn.

After eating it, you can reshape your body's bones and vessels. It can increase your cultivation, and turn an old man into a young man. More importantly, it can increase your talent and cure any disease.

The Phoenix flower is very rare and hard to find. Don’t think it is called a fire flower because it grows in a volcano or other fire sources; it can grow in any location.

Once upon a time, someone ate the Phoenix flower but didn’t get any benefits. Do you know why?”

Amphorn's curiosity came back, so he asked, “Why didn’t he get any benefits?”

Wei smirked and said, “Who knows?”

Amphorn sat up from the bed and asked him, “Tell me.”

Master Wei also sat up and said, “What benefit can it bring me? How about this: I’ll ask your question, and you answer it, and then I’ll tell you, my answer. Worry not, I won’t ask anything weird, and you can choose not to answer.”

Amphorn thought about it and nodded. Wei smiled and asked his question.

“Why do you refuse to cultivate? You said you have an enemy to defeat, so why refuse?”

Amphorn thought about it and, having nothing to hide, said, “Because it is useless. No matter how strong I become in this world, I can’t defeat him.”

Wei then asked, “How are you so sure?”

Amphorn shook his head and said, “I answered the question, so it’s your turn. Tell me, why did the man not get any benefits after eating the Phoenix flower?”

Wei smiled brightly and said, “I don’t know, I just made it up. There are no such flowers.”

Amphorn: ………*-*

Amphorn said nothing and lay back on his bed.

‘I got a feeling my days won’t be peaceful in the future.’

In the morning, Bai prepared breakfast and opened the door, surprised to find Master Wei also inside.

Wei noticed her, so he put his index finger on his lips and waved his hand. Bai understood, so she put the food on the table and went outside without making any sound.

Wei looked at Amphorn's sleeping face and thought,

‘He didn’t fall asleep last night. He only fell asleep after I injected some spiritual energy into him.

Mn ~

Without his usual indifferent expression, he does seem like a child. With his good looks, I don’t know how many hearts he’s going to break in the future.’

Master Wei then left the room, and Amphorn slept until the sun rose to the middle of the sky.

Amphorn woke up with a hungry stomach and looked around, finding nobody in the room. He sighed and continued his usual activities. Then a few days passed, and Amphorn’s patience reached its limit.

Except for handling his work outside, Wei spent most of his time in Amphorn’s room and tried to make Amphorn cultivate. Haoyu also accompanied Wei sometimes; they both treated Amphorn’s room as their own.

For Amphorn, who liked to spend his time alone, that was unbearable. Of course, their company made Amphorn feel warm, but he couldn’t change his nature quickly.

Amphorn looked at Wei and Haoyu, who were doing their paperwork in his room, and said, “I agree, so can you please leave?”

Wei and Haoyu stopped their work and stared at Amphorn in surprise. Master Wei then smiled and asked, “What are you talking about? I don’t understand.”

Amphorn ground his teeth and said, “I agree to cultivate but I’ll only start after two months. Is this acceptable?”

Wei got up, picked up Amphorn, spun him around a few times, and said, “Of course it is acceptable. I’m glad you decided to learn. Do you have any other conditions? I can fulfil them for you.”

Amphorn thought about it and said, “I’ll try to cultivate first, and if I find it a waste of time, then I’ll stop.”

Wei smirked and nodded. He then looked at the unfinished paperwork and asked, “Can I leave after I finish all this? My heart hurts when I think about it, my one and only disciple doesn’t want to see me. I must be the most pitiful master that exists in the world.”

Amphorn: ………. *-*

Amphorn just stared at him and Haoyu without saying anything, with no choice Wei and Haoyu left dejectedly.
