Outside the door, Haoyu asked, “Why did you accept his request when he talked about stopping his cultivation?”

Wei smirked and said, “Do you think anyone can resist the feeling of becoming stronger? When a weak person gets the feeling of becoming strong, they won’t resist, not to mention that child who has a powerful enemy he needs to defeat.”

Wei and Haoyu looked at each other with the same smirk on their faces. At that time,

“What trouble did you both cause this time? Looking at your smirking faces, I’m sure your scam was successful.”

The person who commented on Wei was his brother Jing, who is also the head of the Dragon Sect. He was an extremely powerful and ruthless person and very protective of his people.

Wei and Haoyu looked at each other, and Haoyu stepped in and said, “We did scam someone, but for a good reason this time, leader.”

“Oh?” Jing raised his eyebrows as he was interested.

Wei sighed and said, “It's about my disciple; he finally agreed to cultivate.”

Jing suddenly remembered his brother's disciple. As the head of the sect, whatever happens inside the sect, he always gets a report about it.

So, he remembered this particular child who made his brother anxious. After all, all the reports about him were interesting to look into, and he knew he refused to leave his room and cultivate.

“I also want to meet your disciple one day, but it's not the time. And I remember the two of you have lots of work to do, so stop being lazy and get to work.”

After that, Jing left, leaving behind Wei and Haoyu, whose faces turned black after hearing about the work they needed to finish. Amphorn's days in the Dragon Sect became quite peaceful.

Of course, his master Wei and his friend Haoyu sometimes came by, bringing lots of delicious snacks for him. Amphorn turned from a skinny beggar to a healthy young master.

At the end of the third month, Amphorn looked at the stars in the sky and smiled. He was truly happy because he had lived the past three months in this world. He didn’t die, so Amphorn was ready to take a step forward.

Slam!

Early in the morning, Wei came to Amphorn’s room and looked at the child who was sleeping so peacefully.

“My dear disciple, it's morning. Come on, wake up. We need to get going.”

Amphorn woke up from his sleep, and the first thing he saw was his master’s smirking face. Without saying anything, he turned around, covered his head with a blanket, and was ready to sleep.

‘What a bad start, waking up to find a stranger next to your bed.’

Wei stared at the bundle of blankets in front of him and decided to take matters into his own hands. He picked up the child and went straight into the bathroom.

Amphorn struggled and said, “Alright, alright. I’ll get ready quickly; let me down.”

Wei smiled and patted his head, then left Amphorn alone in the bathroom.

After Amphorn got ready and finished his breakfast, Wei held him in his arms, and he got on his sword and flew away.

Amphorn was speechless during the whole process. He couldn’t help but say, “You don’t have to carry me in your arms like a child. I can manage on my own.”

Wei looked down at him and said, “We can walk around the sect, but I’m sure you won’t like that. More importantly, the sect covers a large area, so walking won’t complete our full tour in one day. Also, you can get a clear view of the sky. Look, isn’t it beautiful?”

Amphorn looked at the scene passing by him and nodded. The Dragon Sect was truly fascinating. Wei took Amphorn around the sect and explained lots of things to him and also told stories about the sect's history.

Wei looked at the child in his arms, who seemed to be enjoying the ride and decided to clear some things with him.

“You know, there was someone named Ice Saint who lived in the past. Just as his name suggests, he was well-trained in wielding ice. He was so powerful that he could freeze a country if he wanted.

He also mastered a technique called reincarnation. With that technique, he could be reborn after he died. But one day, he couldn't reincarnate anymore. Can you guess why?”

Amphorn was surprised that someone had mastered reincarnation. ‘He was similar to me, but he can’t leave this world. But how come he couldn't reincarnate anymore?’

Amphorn couldn’t resist his curiosity, so he asked, “What is that?”

Wei smiled and said, “If you tell me why you want to learn to cultivate three months after you came here, I’ll tell you.”

Amphorn became suspicious after hearing the familiar question. But unlike the phoenix bird, reincarnation is real, as he is the living example.

Also, he wanted to know if there was any way to stop reincarnation. So, he decided to tell the truth, “I wasn’t sure if I could live past three months.”

Wei stopped smiling after that. He looked into the child’s-tired eyes and decided to drop the matter.

“Tell me, why couldn’t he reincarnate anymore?”

Wei smiled brightly at his question and said, “I don’t know myself; I lied. There are no such techniques.”

Amphorn: ………*-*

Wei glanced at his dark face and couldn’t help but laugh.

Haha haha haha

Amphorn said nothing; he couldn't believe he had fallen for the trick twice.

Sigh ~

After the tour, Wei brought Amphorn to his study and decided to give him a simple introduction to cultivation.

“Alright, Ming, now I’ll tell you about the basics. So, listen closely.”

“Why are you calling me Ming?”

“Isn’t your name Ming?” Wei was surprised by the sudden question.

Amphorn had forgotten that the original body owner's name and his name weren’t the same. But he didn’t want to be called by someone else's name.

“Don’t call me that.”

“Then how should I call you?”

“Amphorn, my name is Amphorn.”

“Ampo?” Wei had never heard such a name before.

“It’s AMPHORN.”

“Ampon?”

(..........) Amphorn took a deep breath to calm down. He knew his real name would sound weird to the people of this world.

Wei looked at the silent child in front of him and decided to solve the problem. He didn’t know why he wanted to change his name, but he had no right to stop it.

“Alright, since you want to change your name, how about I give you one? I think the name Li will suit you.”

Amphorn didn’t want any other name; he had forgotten about his real face and his family. What remained in his long journey was his name.

But he could tolerate it for a while. Amphorn then nodded; he didn’t want to argue with his master. He knew he couldn’t win.
