Sorry to inform everyone but I think this will be the last of the adventure king novel. I have pretty much lost any creative spark I had towards this novel, one of the biggest reasons is that I think I made a lot of mistakes in the development of the story and its piled up too high to be worth salvaging. Most new readers just read the first parts so its tough to see repeated criticism that I agree with and still continue writing on.
I've come to dislike writing an evil/petty main character, even if it was interesting for me initially I think the characters should be generally likeable in some way.
I don't think I will stop writing, but I'm also not sure whether this means I continue on with world arena or start something else. I don't think I want to write any NSFW stories anymore, since that really restricts where I feel I can post my content and it kind of makes me have to keep my writing hobby somewhat secret.
I do have some additional artwork that I will create new chapter updates for and link to once it's done, but new chapters won't be coming.

I hate to see it end.... I'll admit I'm more of a lurker than a commenter tho.. I originally sympathized with Marcella until I saw how much power she had to actually do something if she choose to..(which she did after the fact) her lack of communication and half assed appeasement just seemed like an immature brat that was used to getting what she wanted always. in hindsight..... MC is basically a native.. raise with native ethics for the most part and his relationship with belle is pushing the limits of social acceptance... And he only get away with it as much as he does because of his status not being bottom tier(his dad was a knight so better than most)
In retrospect it's kind of fitting that the novel is ending at the start of the school arc, since school arcs are always the worst part of any novel.
What was evil or unlikable about the main character though? This was one of my favorite stories because of his willing not to be a pushover will still adhering to a reasonable set of personal ethics (for the setting).

make one last joke chapter, where the goddess discover his bug and time reversal everything and the end or just blow the world.
it always adds a better sense of closure when there is an obviously rushed/originally unplanned ending like that than just stopping abruptly

There is no perfect novel, this and all others have their flaws.
Despite the flaws in this novel, I enjoyed reading it until chapter 129. There will be a day when I will read it again from the beginning.
There are things that could improve, but know that it didn't just happen with your novel, it happened with many others and will continue to happen with many others.
I ask you not to delete this novel. Because I ask that to set an example for other authors (no matter if they are new or experienced) so that they and you do not make the same mistakes that you made in this novel.
Again I say: There is no perfect novel, this and all others have their flaws. What authors can do is try to write better than they did yesterday.
I wish that you and other authors can get the inspiration they need to be able to try to write better than yesterday.
Damn. . . I really liked this novel. I do hope you do return and feel more comfortable writing more antihero/evil main characters and nsfw as it’s my preference. In addition your writing of nsfw scenes is very exceptional. RIP

If you want to stop this novel, you should write something like an open ending.
Besides, I'm sad that I didn't see Belle get pregnant.

This novel has its flaws, but this novel also has its positive qualities.
I ask that you do not just remember the shortcomings of this novel, I ask that you also remember the good things that this novel has.
Crap was really liking the story, was hoping the haughty Cat-kin got beaten in coliseum by him n taken home as a trophy. Really hope you can get the spark back, even if you have to back peddle the whole story to rework him a bit more Id be cool with that as long as your story is told to its fullest.
Not every endeavor will be successful so don't be too discouraged. Use this to learn where you went wrong and your next work will be even better.
In terms of NSFW content, you can always have a secondary pen name that you use for those types of projects. It's fairly normal to do that to avoid the overly judgmental types.
Personally I prefer stories that don't censor themselves to be kid friendly. This doesn't mean massive amounts of smut and gore, but instead allowing such things to happen where they should. People get hurt and die during battles. s*x happens when two (or more) parties like each other (or one likes the other in an unhealthy manner) very much, and have some free time together.
Regardless if writing is your hobby, then do it in the manner that you enjoy most. It's ultimately an art so not everyone will enjoy your creations as much as you do. But to hell with them! All that manners is that you are enjoying yourself.
In terms of story content I didn't like it when elements of slavery were added. I find it something deeply abhorrent and prefer only the villains do it. Slavers are one of the few groups that I actually enjoy being slaughtered pretty much regardless of the situation.
