Inside a cramped room a candle is lit. Its flames sputtering in all directions reveal two faces, staring at each other gazing inside one another’s eyes two people are having a conversation.

[So you're back at it again? Man you can never stop spewing bullshit can you?]

[No...hear me out.]

[Why should I worry about something when its just one of your scams?]

[Uhh...I get what you're saying but...haven't you noticed something suspicious?]

[What?]

[Ehh..Recently I've noticed their numbers increasing myself, so that for me really grounded things into reality. Further more some of them started carrying the 'bigger guns' at disposal.]

 [And by that you mean-]

[Yes exactly that, the military is preparing for something big.]

[No, aren't you just imagining things by yourself?]

[Listen well and clear! If this was just my imagination at work I wouldn't be sitting at this table having this type of conversation with you.]

[...]

[...]

[Want a ciggie?]

[I'm trying to be serious here you know? You definitely betrayed my expectations.]

[Expectations?]

[Lets just say that I had hoped you would trust in me a little more.]

[Ha, don’t make me laugh...okay, so do you realize how stupid it sounds? Paying money to leave the city illegally? Just because of some stupid rumor and your observation at hand? Give everyone’s money to some dodgy guy on the street so he could help us? You are out of your fucking mind!]

[Listen I have nothing to get by lying this time, I'm not-]

[You won't convince me this time! Stop it or I'll seriously consider bashing that head of yours onto the pavement!]

[I know what I do is wrong! But this time, this time I'm being honest. I just wanted you to help!]

[You just wanted my help...helping, what do you mean by that?]

[Man you know my reputation around here, none would believe me and think that I'm making a big scam. And that's why I came here to talk to you since people trust you the most around here.]

[Okay I had enough of it already just leave already. You're the worst even for slums standards. Using our fear to cash out is seriously disgusting. It's already hard living in this shit hole but then people like you have to show up and make things even harder for everyone. Get out of here! Now!]

[I understand but hopefully you do one thing as well. Whatever happens afterwards do not blame it on me, motherfucker!]

[Tch...whatever don't forget to close the door.]

[...]

[Ahh, what a nuisance. Things are getting more outrageous every day, huh...speaking of which... something is not right. Wait, that sly bastard! I'll catch up to you faster than you can imagine!]

Curvy and narrow alleys covered in the darkness of the night. Surrounding them barely standing run down buildings for many called as home. One out of many can be seen as special for this night. Inside a dark corridor two people are arguing.

[Hey you, stop right there!]

[What do you want from me. Didn't you tell me to leave?! I left so what else?!]

[My money, you took it! Give it back right now!]

[What money?!]

[Ones you took away from my table don't act sly with me give it back or I'll seriously hurt you!]

[... I didn't steal anything, don’t act all mighty!]

[Are we going to play games now?! Give back what you stole from me! You think I won't notice? That bag inside your hand, why did you take it?]

[... I needed it to-]

[What do you mean you needed it? I'm done you asked for this punk!]

One punch after another. The fight is not about ones pride or the victor but about survival. Both are using any tricks they have in their disposal. Youth fighting experience. One calculating his moves and the other throwing his fists whenever he sees possible. After moments of blood shed and misery the survivor is decided. But he does not stop he kicks and punches the loser to the ground showing his cruelty and his origins. This is the place in which he belongs as he was molded by the environment he lives in. His way of living is to be cruel and decisive, live only for survival. His eyes which have seen tragedies, the years he managed to keep his sanity intact. In one moment once the strain of ones mind breaks It truly shows how terrifying humans can be and that's why men like him are left behind by everyone except this place, the slums. Home for many just like him. Only this place suits them perfect. The loser loses consciousness and before murder occurs and all innocence is lost someone interrupts the man.

[Uncle Chu! Stop, I think he had enough.]

[Izerk?! You have to be kidding me... don't interrupt!]

[What...did he even do?]

[Bastard trying to steal money like this of course I'm going to kill him! Don't meddle in if its none of your business!]

[But...you don't have to go that far. You're seriously going to kill him!]

[Shut up!]

[I said stop!!!]

[Why?!]

[Because its cruel! You don't need to take someone’s life for this!]

[Yes I do! I won't take any chances of this bastard backstabbing me! I'll use this punk as an example for the likes of him.]

[You're just like the rest of them...]

[...]

[Nobody is human everyone screams and yells at each other! Crowds all the same not affected by anything that is concerned about them. Heartless and selfish! Even the people who should protect us are arguably even worse, and you're no exception. You're a monster!]

Just as the boy shares his anger he gets struck by a slap to his cheek.

[Feel awake yet?]

[Why...did you hit me?]

[Listen well and clear these thoughts of yours will catch up to you one way or another maybe not today or tomorrow but if you don't change the naive self you will get killed. I can guarantee you that]

[But...]

[There's no but think about yourself more cause others will not.]

[Even so...even Rudy?!]

[Rudy? What makes you talk about that kid?]

[Today, I saw him getting beaten up by the guards it was awful.]

[Really?...And do you know why?]

[Well.. previously I didn't but... I found out later.]

[I see…how so?]

[I was eating my dinner then I heard someone talking about him so I listened and apparently... he stole something from the mine.]

[I see... that troublesome child, if its true than he's in serious trouble.]

[I know and that’s why I got here to ask for your assistance.]

[You already know my answer.]

[I don't care if you agree or not if you're not helping I'll do something by myself. I have to do it!]

[You're a moron, just so you know I won't be always there to protect you.]

[Even so... I still have to. My choice was correct to leave him be and yet I can't help but feel guilt, I want to help him.]

[Tch... so what are you thinking if your plan is to really save him and not get yourself killed you should have thought of something, right?]

[Well...no. I had hoped you would’ve helped me think of it.]

[You’re one heck of a fool aren’t you… dumbass... come we'll talk in my room.]
