As per usual, Damien went to go grab a cup of Joe at Honey’s coffee shop. Mrs. Everic and Vera seemed rather irritated with each other for some reason and while he was mildly curious he also wasn’t one to worry.
In fact, this was cause for celebration.
“You seem pretty chipper. Something good happen?” Honey noticed his mood and commented as she handed him his drink.
He nodded, taking a sip. “You’re looking at a homewrecker, my dear Honey.”
The girl did a double-take. A fierce blush spread across her cheeks. “Is Will accusing you of that again?”
Damien regarded her strangely. “Hm? No, we haven’t talked in months. We’re past that anyway, aren’t we?”
Honey took a moment to calm herself, then replied back with a, “Then why?”
“Well, because I’ve been attempting the seduction of a certain married woman these days and it seems to be coming along nicely.” His entire demeanor suggested victory.
The youth’s words caused her no small amount of shock. “I can’t believe it.”
“That I can seduce married women?” He seemed almost insulted by the thought. Honey shook her head.
“I’m surprised you want to at all! Weren’t you angry when Will called you a homewrecker that time? Now you’re really trying to be one! What gives?” Honey’s tone took a sour note, and she hated it. She sounded upset, even jealous, and the fact made her burn with shame.
In the face of her incredulity, Damien wasn’t at all remorseful. “Having my way with another man’s woman and seeing the haunted look in their eyes awakened a new fetish in me. What else can I say?”
The blush came back with a fury. “You have no shame at all!” She whispered harshly, wanting to crawl in a hole and die.
“And what about you?” He arched a brow. “You seemed rather happy to let me service you in front of all those people.”
From behind her, they heard a crash. Luna, Honey’s newest friend and co-worker, had dropped a mug. “Uh.” The woman froze. She gave an awkward laugh. “Don’t mind me.” And scurried away to find a brook. But Honey knew she’d be getting an interrogation later on.
“You did that on your own. I didn’t enjoy it at all.” She cleared her throat, lying through her teeth.
She expected another look of indignation, but rather than that he simply smiled. “Is that so?” His eyes glowed with an inner radiance.
She couldn’t help noticing how inviting his lips seemed just then. “Yeah.” Is it hot in here? It felt hot.
“Then let’s test that.” And before she could even blink, he leaned over the counter and grabbed her chin. He tilted her head up.
Her heart pounded in her chest. “Uh, what are you doing?” She swallowed.
“Giving you time to stop me.”
But she didn’t. Couldn’t summon the will to. And so their lips smashed together, exactly like the first time. All of a sudden an explosion of raw sexual energy burst to life and made her nipples painfully erect. As if she were a woman dying of thirst and had finally been given a cup of water.
She didn’t want to let go. Ever. But eventually she had to come up for air, regretful as it was. As her knees grew weak from the taste of him, she vaguely noticed the envious stares from the few surrounding women.
Damien licked his lips and offered a triumphant grin. “You were saying?”
Holding the counter for support, she looked up at him with a touch of resentment. Then it happened. Something inside her just took over. Without even thinking about it, she grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him in for another kiss.
He was like a drug. Everything about him smelled and tasted so good. She’d never get enough of it. Why? Why did he had to be so delicious? So addicting? It was only her second dose, but her body hungered for something deeper. Rougher.
Touching herself at night to fantasies of his touch seemed so inadequate now. She realized it fully just then: For the first time in her life, Honey wanted a man. And not just any man, but him.
She shuddered just thinking about it. Her panties became wet with longing and she wanted nothing more in that moment than to tear her clothes off and let him have her.
But the thought was also terrifying in how tempted she was to make it a reality. It scared her that she could even entertain the idea. And for what? For who? A guy she’d only ever known as her ex’s friend? She’s talked to him a few times before, and Damien had always only ever seemed like a kind older brother type of person. Rumors be damned.
Now, though? He felt more like a walking wet dream. Ever since that first kiss, that had been the case. She couldn’t stop thinking of his hands, his tongue. How badly she wanted them inside her.
After what seemed like far too short a time, she had to come up for breath once again. She found herself staring at him, and a ridiculous thought came to her. But she’s already gotten this far.
She looked away, suddenly feeling quite shy. “I turned 16 recently. Is that old enough for you? You can seduce me too if you want. That is, I mean....” Asking such a thing, it was humiliating. So much so that pinpricks of heat built along her eyes, threatening tears.
Damien let his gaze roam. Finally, he sighed. “This is definitely going to earn me that third strike,” He replied incomprehensibly. “What the hell? I can indulge you a bit.”
She paused, unsure. “You mean...?”
“What time do you get off?”
