We reach the adventurer's guild. It seems they haven't arrived yet so it's just me and her. A couple of people look at us while we wait. Nothing to really break the ice with... I never was good at starting conservations. Oh well. Hmm... I'll just say something basic I guess.

"So uh... You feeling better there?" I ask in an awkward tone

I turn to her and she nods her head. Maybe she's not comfortable with me? Maybe something else? I shrug to myself as I sigh. It's not my business really. I yawn as I look at the clouds. It's only the afternoon so bedtime is later. We stand in silence for ten minutes before Dalton and them show up.

"Yo Link! Done already? Also whos the girl standing next to you?" Dalton asks

"Uh. . . I blame Blaz." I say

"Ya know that's not really a believable thing at all right? Could be a hooker of all things. Now you have to explain it to Andr and Destiny. Good luck lmao." Dalton tells me

"I see how it is... I helped you with Destiny and you won't help me." I say with a sarcastic tone

"Heh." he says

As Destiny approaches she says "Who's she?"

". . . Blame Blaz." I answer

Ya know I'm just digging a hole for myself by just blaming Blaz, to be honest. I probably could have made an excuse. Andr approaches a bit confused but doesn't ask.

"Link... you didn't do anything illegal did you?" she asks while pointing her stick at me

"I plead the 5th." I reply

. . .

"That doesn't work here." she tells me

"You can't fucking stop me." I reply with a smirk

She hits me with her staff and I grab it. Ow, but hey I stopped it for now.

"Let go." she says

"Nah. You'll try to kill me if I let go. Then ag-" I say as I stop

"Wait. . . Your not planning on shooting me with an ice attack right?" I ask

"Maybe." she answers

Well ok then. I'll take the beating instead of getting stabbed with a piece of ice any time. So I decide to let go of the staff and she hits me on the head. I block most of the hits to reduce the force but it still hurts.

"Okay, you wanna stop it now?" I ask

"Nah." she answers

. . . Dalton picks her up which prevents her from swinging her stick at me.

"Dalton let me go!." Desiny demanded

"No. Link's innocent you do realize that." Dalton says

"Your probably right. Still makes no sense why a random girl is with him." she tells us

"Alright, we get it. You're jealous. Let's just move past this." Dalton says with a sigh

"Ok..." she replies as she is let go

Finally. Then again I could have stopped this too. Oh well, I'm just too lazy I guess.

"So you guys didn't spend too much on shopping right?" I ask

"Oh well... they spent 5 gold." Dalton says with a sigh

"Ladies am I right?" I say with a sarcastic tone

"Hah, yeah." he replies

Destiny slaps both of us. Yeah, maybe we deserved that. I turn to E. Ya know, I really wish I had her real name as calling her E just bothers me. Then again it could be a lot worse. Some of the names on the internet just make me question life sometimes haha. Seems like she's an outcast even though she isn't. Then again we don't really know her.

"So what's her name?" Andr asks

"Uh... I don't know?" I say with a shrug

I get bonked by Andr.

"Ok. What was that for?" I ask

"You didn't pick her up did you?" she ask

"Didn't we already answer this?" I reply

"Oh... yea your right." Andr says as she puts her hand on her head

Andr walks up to the elf girl.

"Hello, I'm Andr. Who are you?" she says with a smile

"I-I'm Leticia." she mumbles

... Ow, she really did me like that. Well, not like I know her. I slouch with a pained expression before shortly returning to normal. Andr continues to talk with Leticia. Now that I think about it. She probably needs to rest and bathe or something. I walk to Destiny.

"Hey, talk with Leticia and bathe with her and stuff. Do your girl things." I ask Destiny

"That's... a weird thing to ask? But alright." Destiny answers

I mean, at least she understood it. As we were about to go back to relaxing today we hear a bell. The ringing keeps going. Is this like a meeting or were  under attack shit?

"Oh, that's the bell to call adventurers." Andr tells us

We look at each other and shrug. We enter the guild and its packed. Garen walks out of his room and starts to speak up.

"Alright, boys and girls we got reports of the portal in Dab Phem acting up. Some of my private investigators have found out that the portal is releasing monsters so we would like all available adventurers to help deal with this so we can seal it up again. And of course, you will be paid" Garen says to the crowd

Huh, neat but what is Dab Phem? Actually, am I even pronouncing it right?

"So uhh... whats Dab Phem?" I ask

"It's a huge cavern area that holds a portal. Nobody really knows what it is beside it acting up every now and then." Andr tells us

Ya know, I really wanted to sleep today but I guess not.

"You all have twenty minutes to prepare before we all head out. Prepare yourselves." Garen tells us

Everyone leaves the adventurers guild to prepare or do whatever and then there's us just outside the guild.

"So are we preparing or no?" I ask 

"Hmmm... no idea." everyone says

I sigh.

"Well, it's probably best we head to an inn to drop our stuff off. Leticia can also stay at the inn as she's not a fighter so we can't bring her along." Dalton tells us

"Ok." Andr and Destiny say

I turn to Leticia to say "You ok with that?"

She nods a yes.

"Well, let's go drop our stuff off then." Dalton tells us

We walk over to an inn and buy 3 rooms as we have 5 people and 5 divided by 2 is 2.5 and that's not going to work so Dalton says he'll get his own room. So he forced me into being in a room with Leticia. Wow ok, then Dalton. I mean I don't mind but come on man. Why can't the females just sleep together. Whatever.

We end up paying 25 silver for the rooms. Everyone else is in their rooms most likely putting their belongings away and then it's just me and her. I put my bag down by my bed which is the furthest from the door. The room still looks the same as last time we checked in so that's nice nothing changed. I turn to Leticia.

"So uhh... You okay with being alone for a while?" I ask her

"Um... Y-yes." she answers

Well, at least she spoke with me this time. I sigh but shrug.

"Alright, we'll see you later then. Don't do anything dangerous." I tell her before closing the door

I meet up with Dalton and them in the hallway.

"You all ready?" Dalton asks us

"Yeah." we all say

"Well then lets head off!." Dalton says

And so we head off to the adventurers guild to see the remaining adventurers walking to the gates of Plumeria's capital. We walk over to the gates and see Garen in the front with full plate armor. His armor has a purple like design and a Plumeria flower on his shoulder guard. Neat. He's also got a crusader like helmet. Strange for his type of armor... but hey whatever. As I was distracting myself I feel a tap on my shoulder from a man with sky blue hair. His right eye is mellow yellow and his left is sky blue also.

"Hey we're not late right?" he asks me

"Uh no your not." I answer

"Oh, ok thanks." he replies

I look next to him and see a man with a sword and shield. That's neat and I'm assuming that's his friend I guess. I didn't pay much attention to how he looks and only noticed his sword and shield. I turn back to Garen and he starts to speak up.

"Times about up and were heading out. Let's move." Garen says

We all start moving out. Sadly we aren't on carriages or wagons so we're all walking on feet which I hate but exercise I guess. Garen leads us to where Dab Phem is and we all follow.
