Sect Master Yuchi worked on his plan in a happy mood. When had he ever had the opportunity to do something good for the world and for his Yun Zou Sect at the same time? This really was a lucky day! Ah, if he also managed to do something good for himself and maybe gained another disciple, then that would be even better.

He hurriedly pushed the thought aside and concentrated on drafting the details of the mission. He didn’t intend to publish it for the whole sect though. No, this kind of important mission could only be given to a few select disciples that he trusted and that he knew were strong enough to be able to solve this matter.

Having Yu Jin with them would also be good. Not only would he be able to provide them with information, but he would also be able to form a good relationship with the other disciples. In case he really stayed in the Yun Zou Sect, that would be good for him.

Yuchi Bing Xia finally heaved a sigh of relief when he had written down the last character and leaned back in his chair, going through everything once again. He shouldn’t have forgotten anything. As for the disciples that would go, naturally, Wu Min Huan would be the one leading them. Other than him, there would be the Grand Elder’s disciple, as well as the head disciples of the other Peak Masters. He would also give the Elders the chance to send one other disciple of their peak with them. The rest should be outer sect disciples.

Now, the question was should he send any Elder with them? He still wasn’t too sure on this but to be honest, he felt that it would be better if he didn’t do so. They had to learn to take care of this kind of matter themselves. And with this many disciples of the inner sect around, these demonic practitioners shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Wu Min Huan’s level was rather high and Yu Jin wasn’t any worse. As for the others … Their levels might not be as high but they had other qualities that would make up for it. All in all, this group should be able to handle the matter even without an Elder around. So, he should give them the opportunity to act on their own for once.

Yuchi Bing Xia nodded to himself and got up from his chair. He took the list and left his palace, making his way over to the courtyard where Wu Min Huan was staying.

He knocked on the door and called out. "Min Huan! I made a plan for the matter of the demonic practitioners. It’d be better if you set out as soon as possible. You can go and notify the others immediately and then give them time to prepare."

Inside the house, Wu Min Huan opened his eyes and hurriedly got up, walking to the door. "Master!" He bowed and took the list from Yuchi Bing Xia, looking over everything that had been written there. Going through the list of disciples he was supposed to take, he nodded to himself. He knew all of the people from the inner sect so they should be able to work together well. As for the outer sect disciples, they normally listened well on this kind of mission. After all, they also knew that this was a chance for them. If they made a good impression on one of the inner sect disciples, that person might as well say a few good words about them to their Masters and if their talent was up to par, they could be promoted to the inner sect.

Yuchi Bing Xia smiled at his head disciple. "Is there anything you don’t understand?

Wu Min Huan shook his head. "No, everything’s clear. Although … Should we really take Yu Jin with us, Master?" He wasn’t too sure about this. Losing his master … He should be pretty traumatized. Confronting him with this again … Wu Min Huan didn’t know if this was really such a good idea. He trusted his Master’s assessment but this time, he couldn’t help but be a little doubtful. Maybe it had been too long since his Master had been a disciple himself. He was probably not able to imagine too well how it was to lose your Master.

Yuchi Bing Xia nodded. "I also thought about that. I think it might be a good idea though. He seemed … resigned to the fact that he wasn’t able to do anything to help his Master. If we leave it at that, he might blame himself forever. I’m sure that with the help of you and the others, and with ample preparation, you’ll be able to do something. If he is there at that time and can do his part to eliminate the demonic practitioners that killed his Master, it will be good for him in the long run. Even though it might be difficult to have them agree at first, it will still benefit him in the end."

Wu Min Huan nodded. Right, he hadn’t thought of that. His Master had still considered this more thoroughly. He shouldn’t have expected anything else. "Master really thought of everything."

Yuchi Bing Xia smiled and patted his head disciple’s shoulder. "You can go and tell the others. Maybe … Don’t go tell Yu Jin just yet. Give him a bit more time to himself. Maybe tomorrow or the day after that, depending on when you and the others want to go, you can tell him. He should have some time to get prepared but not too much to worry. Otherwise, things might only get more difficult for him."

Wu Min Huan nodded, cupped his fists and bowed. With the list in his hand, he went to tell the other disciples.

Meanwhile, Yuchi Bing Xia couldn’t help but look over at the house where he had settled Yu Jin. That youth … Who knew how he was doing right now? He really wanted to go and take a look but he didn’t want to be a bother either. Right now, Yu Jin probably wasn’t able to deal with other people normally. He shouldn’t make it even more difficult for him with going over all the time. No, right now, Yu Jin needed a bit of time to calm down. After all, this was the first time he was alone since he had lost his Master. He was bound to have some things he wanted to think about. Everything else could wait until tomorrow.
