Since you are all going to have to wait a little while as I'm implementing the wonderful ideas you all gave me last chapter, as well st the fact that I didn't get around to introducing an author for the end of the 2nd book as I had intended, I feel now's an excellent time to get that done.
So, originally this was meant to introduce excellent authors I had discovered who were just not receiving the attention they deserved. However, with the update to the trending system on the site, it doesn't seem like that's needed so much anymore. The new way it's figured promotes the little known authors on it's own. Then, there's also the fact that the series I introduced before is now doing phenominally well and even surpasses this series by almost double the views despite having fewer chapters.
So, all that going on, I think I will change the focus of these sections to simply being a recommendation of series I think my readers might enjoy. Series that really tickle the same themes and observe the same attention to realistic reactions and researched psychology and world-building.
All that in mind, today I would like to introduce a fairly recent transplant over to ScribbleHub from RoyalRoad by the name of "The Administrator." A teenage girl who dies of Leukemia finds herself transported into and becoming the creation god of a world that was literally formed of a collection of all her childhood drawings and attempts at writing, some of which were actually rather good and well thought out in her later years.
Despite being one of the most powerful entities in this world, this series manages to stay very well grounded due to a couple reasons. 1. She wants to keep her divine status hidden and live the life of a normal girl she never got before due to her sickly nature in her last life. (A theme I absolutely love, I really can't resist the theme of a second chance at life being given to someone who had a crappy 1st.) 2. Despite her divine status, she is actually incredibly unlucky and has a lot going on in her life still. They are things she could probably solve with the OP divine stuff, but she forbids herself to do that and struggles through managing all manner of complex social and political issues that are flat out abusive to horrific levels by nature.
So, she has to struggle to keep her crumbling family structure together while at the same time hiding her divine status. It's an extremely compelling read, and the nature of the social interactions involved are very well thought out, reasonable, and logical. You can also really buy the struggle every time the MC decides the situation can only be resolved by utilizing some of the god-level powers she has and agonizes over the fact that using this will degrade her ability to live the simple normal life she so desperately craves, and is constantly being snatched away from her by forces that can only be stopped by using those god powers.
It is not exactly a happy story, but it is very compelling. The most compelling OP protagonist I've seen since Mob.
The series has been on the top 9 of the trending list quite frequently since the transfer from RoyalRoad started, but I will still leave a link just in case there are some readers who find this a few months from now and it becomes less common up there due to the slowing in release schedule.

Thank you so much for your series! I've been binging since I found this a couple days ago and I absolutely love it. The way you've written this had made all of the characters so real and I feel attached to all of them, except maybe Gaerien, and I think that might be intentional. Looking forward to the rest!
PS nice recommendation, just started that before this one. Would suggest you check out He who fights monsters if you have the free time, another example of isekai done right in a different way than yours.
Once you find out what Gaerien was the god of back on Earth, you will realize how absolutely intentional everything being done with her really is.
Anyway, glad you are enjoying the series. I will have to check out your recommendation too, I am always searching for good Isekai done right.
OMFG: I just took a look and also checked his release rate. That author seriously must not have a life outside of writing. His chapters are only around 500 words shorter than mine, and somehow he manages to get out almost a chapter per day. He is literally treating this as his job is what he's doing. Wait... *goes to check on his crowd funding*
Yep, over $10,000 per month. That's exactly what's going on, writing on the internet is literally his job and he is not distracted by having to work and write at the same time. (I wish I could get to that point, now I have to look into this guy more and see if he's doing any other series in order to have that kind of funding or what else he might be doing.)
@Jemini Trying not to think too deeply on the intention behind Gaerien, rather find out through the story, could probably just ask truth if I feel like some spoilers. I have very little idea as to how he's managing to make so much, except that I have seen him being plugged by fans on translator sites for Japanese web novels, actually how I heard about this site in the first place. So maybe just good marketing? The fact that the man is a machine and must practically live inside his own world might be a factor too.
