Mexico - Manzanillo

[ Race: Frost Demon ]

"Demon…" Amira muttered in a mix of excitement and disbelief. She had always feared being reincarnated into a mundane urban world, but it appeared that wasn't the case after all. As she glanced at the man approaching her, her Saiyan instincts kicked in, causing her fighting spirit to soar to new heights.

The Frost Demon drew closer, and Amira could feel the majestic aura emanating from him. Despite her initial excitement, she reminded herself to be cautious. This was a dangerous opponent, not like the normal humans she faced before.

The Frost Demon's laser-like eyes bore into Amira's, sizing her up and down. His lips twisted into a smirk, revealing pristine teeth and sharp fangs.

"Well, well," he said in a voice cracking with amusement. "What do we have here? A little girl?"

Amira didn't flinch. She stood her ground, meeting his gaze with equal intensity.

"Don't underestimate me," she growled. "I may be young, but I'm a warrior through and through."

Moving closer to her, the Frost Demon laughed heartily, his hands clapping in amusement.

"I like your spirit, Saiyan woman."

"?!"

Suddenly, Amira realized that the Frost Demon knew her bloodline. Her guard went up immediately as she narrowed her eyes at him, trying to decipher how he knew.

"How did you know that I'm a Saiyan? Wait a minute, do you even know what a Saiyan is?" she demanded, her tone skeptical.

The Frost Demon's smirk widened, and he chuckled softly.

"Let's just say I have my sources," he said cryptically.

Amira didn't like the sound of that. She had been careful to keep her identity hidden, even Dr. Smith still thinks she is a human, and the thought of someone knowing her true nature made her uneasy.

"Who are you?" she asked, her voice laced with suspicion.

The Frost Demon shrugged, his expression nonchalant.

"I'm no one special," he said. "Just a traveler passing through."

But Amira wasn't convinced. There was something about this Frost Demon that made her uneasy, and she couldn't shake the feeling that he knew more than he was letting on.

'Who is this guy? Does he know I'm a reincarnated person?' Amira thought, feeling cold sweat forming on her back.

The Frost Demon seemed to sense her unease and took a step back, holding up his hands in a placating gesture.

"Relax, young lady. I mean you no harm," he said, trying to reassure her. "As I was passing by, I couldn't help but notice the energy you emanate. I was merely curious," he explained, tilting his head slightly and offering a smile.

"..."

Amira still didn't fully trust the Frost Demon, but she could tell that he wasn't an immediate threat. She relaxed her stance slightly and studied him for a moment. Despite his sinister appearance, there was something almost charming about him. It was a strange and unsettling feeling.

"I see," she said slowly. "Well, I'm sorry if I came off as aggressive. It's just that I'm not used to people knowing what I am."

The Frost Demon nodded, his inhuman eyes never leaving her.

"I understand. It's not every day that you meet someone that knows of your kind," he said. "But if you're worried about your identity being revealed, you can rest assured that I have no intention of telling anyone."

Amira hesitated for a moment before nodding. She wasn't sure if she could trust the Frost Demon, but she didn't have much of a choice at the moment.

"Thank you," she said quietly.

The Frost Demon grinned, revealing his sharp fangs once again.

"No need to thank me, young lady. It was a pleasure meeting you," he said before turning to leave. "Haha, we'll meet again soon anyway."

Amira watched as the Frost Demon soared through the air and vanished into the distance, his form becoming smaller and smaller until he was nothing more than a speck on the horizon. Despite his assurance that he meant her no harm, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to him than he let on. She wondered if he knew that she was a reincarnated person, and if he did, what did that mean for her safety?

For now, she had more pressing concerns. She needed to find a way to hone her skills and become even stronger. That mysterious massive beam of energy some months ago and now this encounter with the Frost Demon had confirmed that beings other than humans existed in this world, and she needed to increase her powers quickly.

Fortunately, the Frost Demon didn't appear to be very powerful. His Ki was only about half of Amira's level. However, she knew that it was possible that he could be concealing his strength or have some kind of deception skill. It's not like she was a master of Ki sense, she was after all just an improvised self-learned Ki practitioner.

Most of her current explosive progress was only possible thanks to Dr. Smith's exceptional intelligence and the highly advanced sensors he had developed and implanted into the neural chip in her brain. So she couldn't afford to let her guard down, especially now that she knew for sure that there were other powerful beings in this world.

With a deep breath, Amira turned and started walking towards the city. At that moment, Dr. Smith's hysterical voice exploded in her mind.

{ Amira?! Amira! Can you hear me?!  }

Amira stumbled slightly as she heard Dr. Smith's voice. She had completely forgotten about the neural chip in her brain that connected her to the Doctor. She had lost the connection with the chip during her encounter with the Frost Demon, and only now was it reconnecting.

"Yes Doctor, I can hear you," Amira replied, relief flooding through her as she made contact with her savior, mentor, and father figure.

{ Thank goodness, Amira. } Dr. Smith said, his voice laced with concern. { I lost connection with your neural chip for a few moments. Are you okay? Where is that man? Is he gone? }

Amira paused for a moment, considering her response. She didn't want to worry Dr. Smith unnecessarily, but she also didn't want to lie to him.

"I'm fine, and yes he left without saying anything," she said finally, opting for a half-truth.

Dr. Smith didn't seem convinced but didn't push the matter further.

{ Well, just remember that I'm here if you need me. } he said before disconnecting.

Amira continued walking towards the city, her thoughts churning. She needed to find a way to increase her strength quickly, and she needed to do it without drawing attention to herself. The Frost Demon had made her realize that there were other powerful beings in the world, and she couldn't afford to be caught off guard again. She needed to be ready for whatever came her way.

As she walked, Amira thought about the Frost Demon's cryptic words. 'We'll meet again soon anyway.' What did he mean by that? Was he simply being polite, or did he have some kind of ulterior motive? Amira couldn't shake the feeling that the Frost Demon was more than he appeared to be, and that worried her.

But for now, she had more immediate concerns. She needed to find a way to train and become stronger. She couldn't rely on her inherent Saiyan abilities alone. She needed to develop her skills and somehow learn new techniques.

With a determined expression, Amira quickened her pace and made her way towards the visible city.

Once she reached the small port city, Amira looked around for a bit and then she sat on a white public bench.

Observing the carefree citizens bustling in front of her, Amira glanced down at the system's interface to check how much time was left for the seal to unlock.

-= System Notice =-

Time left for Gamer System seal: 1 day 2 hours 36 minutes 57 seconds

"Finally, tomorrow. Just in time,"

Amira took a deep breath and closed her eyes, letting the excitement wash over her. After three long years of waiting, the moment she had been waiting for was finally here. The anticipation had been building up inside of her for what felt like an eternity, and she could hardly contain her emotions.

For the past three years, Amira had been preparing for this moment. She had spent countless hours training and studying with Dr. Smith, honing her skills, and perfecting her Ki control. She had waited so much for this day, and she couldn't believe that it was finally here.

As she sat on the bench, Amira reviewed her plans for the coming days. She knew that unlocking the Gamer System seal would give her access to a wide range of tools and abilities that would help her become stronger. With the Gamer System, she would be able to track her progress, learn new techniques, grind for powerful items, and even gain special abilities that were not available to normal humans or even the Saiyan bloodline. Not to mention Saitama's powers too.

Amira chose not to provoke that Frost Demon mainly because she was uncertain of his strength. Although she was EXTREMELY anxious about how he knew about the Saiyan bloodline, she decided to let him go rather than risk her life. After all, she had been eagerly anticipating the unlocking of the Gamer system for years and wasn't about to die just a day before it happened.

Amira had been looking forward to unlocking the Gamer System for a long time, but she also knew that it came with risks. The Gamer System was not without its dangers, and because of her mistake in the void, the system would randomly select her Race, Racial abilities, and Starter dungeon.

"..."

Nevertheless, Amira was resolute in her determination to unlock the seal and use the Gamer System to increase her strength. It was the only way she could ensure her survival in this now officially dangerous world.

As she sat on the bench, Amira realized that she needed to find a place to train before unlocking the Gamer System seal. She knew that she had to be in top form before entering the Starter Dungeon, and that meant training her body, mind, and Ki.

When she was lost in thought like that, a loud siren suddenly blared, and people around her started running in panic. Amira quickly stood up and looked towards the ocean, where she saw a massive wave rising in the distance. It was a tsunami.

{ Amira! It's a tsunami–huh?! T-That size–! }

"–?!"

Without thinking twice, Amira ignored Dr. Smith's words and immediately sprang into action. She quickly assessed the situation and realized that the wave was too big for her to stop with her current level of Ki control. She needed to evacuate the citizens and get them to safety.

"Everyone, get to higher ground now!" she shouted, her voice cutting through the chaos.

The citizens around her looked up and saw the tsunami, and their panic increased. Some of them started running in different directions, while others froze in terror.

Amira knew she had to act fast. She closed her eyes and focused on her Ki, trying to amplify her voice and make it reach as many people as possible.

"Listen to me, everyone! Follow me, and I will lead you to safety!" she shouted again, her voice booming like a megaphone.

Her words had an immediate effect. The panicked citizens who had been running in all directions turned towards her, and even those who had been paralyzed with fear began moving towards her. Fortunately, Amira's recent reputation in the country's media had preceded her, as many recognized her at first glance.

With a determined look, Amira led the way towards higher ground, her Ki-enhanced voice guiding the citizens to safety. As they ran, Amira's mind raced. She had to keep everyone safe, but at the same time, she couldn't let anyone see her using her Ki abilities. If the wrong people like the Frost Demon saw her, it could lead to trouble.

As they ran, Amira noticed a young girl who had been left behind by her family. The girl was crying and clutching a teddy bear, and she looked terrified.

Amira quickly scooped up the girl and carried her on her back as they continued running towards safety. The girl clung to Amira tightly, and Amira could feel the warmth of the girl's tears on her neck.

"It's okay, we're almost there," Amira whispered to the girl, trying to soothe her fears.

Finally, they reached higher ground, and the citizens collapsed in exhaustion, some of them still sobbing. Amira checked on the young girl, making sure she was okay before turning her attention to the tsunami.

"Doctor, how large is that thing?"

{ I'm not sure, but it's likely to be a Megatsunami, possibly reaching t-thousands of meters. }

The wave was massive, and Amira knew that it would cause catastrophic damage to the city. If she didn't act, countless lives would be lost. She had to do something to stop it, even if it meant revealing her strongest inhuman abilities to the whole world.

With a deep breath, Amira shut her eyes and concentrated her energy on the approaching tsunami. The surge of power through her body reached its peak as she pushed her Ki beyond its limits. { Amira? What are you trying to do? } came the incredulous voice of Dr. Smith.

Witnessed by the citizens surrounding her, Amira's body emitted a bright glow, and a massive energy column erupted from her. She let out a deafening roar and unleashed her energy, causing a tremendous shockwave to collide with the approaching wave.

{ Amira, please stop! You're causing severe harm to your body! }

Despite the warning from Dr. Smith, Amira continued to channel all of her energy into stopping the massive wave. With unwavering determination, she pushed the wave back towards the ocean, gradually weakening its force.

As the wave dissipated, the citizens around her erupted in joy and amazement. Amira fell to the ground, struggling to catch her breath and feeling utterly drained from the intense exertion.

Suddenly, Amira's body convulsed, and she coughed up blood. Her hand flew to her mouth, and she felt the warm liquid spurt out between her metallic prosthetic fingers. She had overexerted herself, and the strain on her body was too much to bear.

A good samaritan rushed to her side, his face etched with concern, and helped her to sit up.

Amira felt weak and dizzy, and her vision blurred. { Amira–! …you …me…?! } She could hear Dr. Smith's voice in her mind, but the words were muffled.

The citizens gathered around her, their faces etched with worry. Amira tried to speak, but her voice was barely a whisper. She knew that she had injured herself internally, and her body was failing her.

As Amira lay there, surrounded by the people she had saved, she couldn't help but wonder if her efforts had been enough. Had she truly saved them, or was it all for naught? Her thoughts grew fainter, and her mind felt light.

"Kyaaaa–!"

"Run–!"

But before she could dwell on these thoughts any further, a sudden commotion interrupted her. The group of people around her suddenly ran away, shouting and screaming in fear. Amira tried to get up and find out what was wrong, but her body felt weak, and her movements were sluggish.

"Watch out–!"

As she was on the verge of passing out, a blinding light engulfed her and lifted her high off the ground. She was bewildered and disoriented as she looked around and noticed a truck speeding towards her through the air.

[ Race: Truck-kun ]

"...Eh?"

The surreal sight of an ordinary truck flying towards her from below left Amira with no time to even process its absurdity before it collided with her in mid-air, and then everything went black.
