Hola! and thanks for reading the amateur novel “Level system vs Cultivation methods“ until the end. I hope you don't have a headache from grammar mistakes.
These final notes will be divided into nine parts.
1. My inspiration to write this

So here I go.
-------------------------
1. My inspiration to write this
This amateur novel was greatly based on three novels: “Tree of Aeons“, “Tales of demons and gods“ and “When A Mage Revolts“.
While I was rereading “Tree of Aeons“ (In the peak of my fanaticism, just before the Political arc) I thought “I want to read something like this, but with humans instead of immortal elfs“ the years passing gimmick really liked me. But after that, I realized the cruel truth, There weren't any other novels about progressive years passing. “She Was Both Called God, as Well as Satan“ was the closest thing that I found, But It wasn't exactly what I wanted.
“Tales of demons and gods“ was the first cultivation story I read, and probably one of the first novels that I read as well, I liked the attitude of the protagonist and how well organized the power level were... There was a time where I thought that. I don't know why, but after a while I let the chapters stockpile, I tried to reread it to remember the stuff that happened... and it wasn't the same... the attitude of the protagonist wasn't as good as I remembered it. Maybe it was because I read other cultivation stories and it wasn't new anymore or maybe it was because I missed the justice and friendship (There is a great difference between people useful to your goal and Friends) that the Japanese protagonists always talk about, either way, the cultivation world wasn't attractive for me anymore.
“When A Mage Revolts“ was the first sentient system novel that I read, and I really like a lot of things from it. The secondary characters had their own lives and goals, the bad guys fight to the death always firm in their ideals (They didn't change sides because the charm of the MC ?), the stakes were always high, the friendship with the system was entertaining(For me), and they were doing something that was changing the world history. To this day, I didn't find any other story that entertained me like that.
I also had minor inspirations from “The queen of darkness does not want to be the villain“(The way of gaining exp), “Haunted Duke’s Daughter“(Two in one body) and “Puella Magi Madoka Magica“ (Details after)
...
Did this story make you remember any novel in particular? Tell me in the comments.
-------------------------
2. My objective
The reason I wrote this wasn't to have a lot of readers, it wasn't to be the number 1 in views, and obviously it wasn't to show my skills in writing. The reason I wrote this is just one, to point out the obvious (I think it is called “addressing the elephant in the room“ in some countries). Stealing is wrong, bullying the weak is wrong, killing people is wrong, a world without justice is wrong, The cultivation world is wrong.
There are lots of stories of evil systems, evil heroes, evil religions, evil parents, happy slaves, good dictators, good(?) r*p*sts, good(?) child m*lest*rs and good demons. But there aren't stories about evil cultivators.
Why nobody fight against the cultivation world? Do people really believe that they are absolute, ultimate or definitive? cultivators have lots of flaws, anyone who has read enough of those novels can find them. I not saying that every cultivator is evil, but I dare to say that all the cultivation worlds are. There is no future for a world that chooses their ruler based on who punches harder...
I'm pointing out the obvious, hoping that someday this work will inspire a professional (or not so professional) author to make a story about non-cultivators fighting against the cultivation world. I want to read that.
...
If there is already a story about that or if there are stories that can change my point of view about the cultivation world. Please tell me about them (preferably without harems).
-------------------------
3. Why didn't I reply to any comments?
There were three reasons.
First, it was an end goal. I promised to myself that I will only reply if I completed the story, it increased my possibilities of ending the work (And it seems that it worked).
Second, Because I was playing with fire. There surely are die-hard fans of the cultivation stories in this site, if I started fighting with them it would only end badly.
Third and last, it gave me more time to write. If I were to answer complex comments that would have take time of writing a chapter, and that was a big no.
...
Was it annoying?

Equals to:
“3/3/2021“
I could have put the date directly, but that would be boring.

Did you get them all?

6. Arcs
I could divide this story in seven arcs.
1-10: “Alone against the world“
11-21: “Companions“
22-36: “A new settlement“
37-47: “Evolving society“
48-61: “Defensive War“
62-76: “The four perils“
77-87: “Humans vs immortals“
...
What was your favorite chapter? I really liked the Chapter 42 “Power couple“.

7. Creative Commons
First, don't use the title “Level system vs Cultivation methods“.
Second, don't use the name Linjian or the surname Lynn in any of your main characters.
Third, say that it was inspired on “Level system vs Cultivation methods“ somewhere at the beginning or at the end of the story.
Fourth, don't make an exact copy (copy-paste).
Outside of these four points you can use this story as you wish.
Make a remake, a IF route, a more pacifist revolution, a bloodier revolution, or anything you want. I will definitely read it.
My objective will have more chances of succeeding if there are various versions of this work.
...
Did it inspire you to write something at least a little bit?

9. Future
At the moment I have no intention of writing any more stories. Maybe one day I will, but not in the near future.
Thanks again for reading the amateur novel “Level system vs Cultivation methods“ and have a good day.
Oh ?, the first on the first and the first in the last ?.
@Bristlecone I was surprised when I seen my name on the thanks, and I have to say:You don't have to thank us,because you give some of the most interesting history's that I have seen,so all i have to say is thank you for you hard work
I found this and read the whole thing in a day. My god is this story good. I don’t even write or post on stories but I had to this time.
It was a pleasure to read.
Thanks for the story!
Thank you, I enjoyed the story!
I'm writing a novel about this. It does contain non-cultivators as well (mages, elves etc.) but overall, the antagonistic side mainly belongs to the cultivators. Unfortunately, I do plan on including a harem (and that too a very weird one. ). I'm sorry for that, author. I'm a total noob at this stuff, so please don't expect much. I've explained all of this stuff in the author's note of the first chapter that I've written and I'll publish it in some time, maybe. It's the "Tech vs. Cultivation" theme. I haven't even decided on a name yet but once I do, I do plan on publishing it on Webnovel. If anyone here wants to, they can find me on Webnovel under the same name: FearlessCloud01.
Even with the harem, I'm still interested. I will give you Power Stones when it comes out .
I hope you had fun writing it
I had fun
It Was One Of The Best Stories It Read Mah Boi, Overall I Don't Have Many Things To Say, Well Atleast If It's Not Pointing Out The Errors Then I'm Fine, Mentality Is Tricky That's Why And Aside From The Mispelled Words But That's Not Much Of A Problem Unless You Decide To Take It Out Of Context(some hell man), Pretty Sure I Liked The Characters. The MC And Maria Campbell That's Quite The Fusion(Not Quite So) Of Souls In One Body. Well In Conclusion I'll Say This In The More Normal Way I Can Say To Your Story Mah Boio. Eleven Outta Ten Would Read Again. When You Use Logic To Beat The Logic Out Of Your Enemy.
This had a good premise and some original ideas but there are, i feel, some gaping flaws.
as follows: -Absolute evil doesn't make for compelling antagonists, especially if they're incapable of thought.
-There's 20 characters who appear like 3 times at most through the entire story, they're shallow and forgettable because you can't make that many interesting charachers in such a short story. The 15 straight chapters of character introduction are a disaster and put a giant hole in the story.
-Putting so many songs in writen form is a terrible idea.
-The dialog scenes are too long and uninterupted, you should put some description of what is happening as characters are talking (like where they are and what expessions they're making).
This story was okay but it was pretty hard to read and didn't engage me that much.
Thanks for the constructive criticism.
-(Personal opinion) The absolute evil can be boring, but ambiguous characters with extremely complex thoughts that take entire chapters to build only to end up having tea with the protagonist without fighting seem more boring to me.
-Making interesting secondary characters is difficult, there are authors who use many chapters to try to make a secondary character relatable and fail. I only focused on doing a story of revolution, but yeah, it could have been better in terms of characters.
-It may have been terrible for some readers, but as an author it was fun. I had to keep myself entertained ?.
-I will take note.
Thanks again and please tell me if you find a good story about non-cultivators fighting against the cultivation world ?.
@Bristlecone "Beware of chicken" has a cultivator that fights against cultivator culture, it's very good.
"The story of how a Cultivation Universe was Conquered by an Interstellar Weapons Platform", the premise is in the name.
And "Dead tired", might be exactly what you're looking for. You can find those stories on royal road.
@floug I said non-cultivator?, but I will read it if I have the time.
Actually the world of "how a Cultivation Universe was Conquered by an Interstellar Weapons Platform" is not full of cultivators, there are mages and others there. It's a little scam ?.
"Dead Tired" might be fun, but it doesn't seem to be a world fighting thing.
@Bristlecone The main character of BoC is a farmer and doesn't cultivate even once up to the latest chapter.
you should definitely try them out, they're really good.
@Bristlecone Try "Kidnapped Dragons", it's a nice slice of life action mix...and it's not about cultivators.
