Author I know that patience is a virtue, you will not take my words or not but I will say them anyway I think you must either accelerate the plot or make something antagonistic happen although it is true that I see something progress I believe that when we reach the climates of your works there will be no one, already Either out of frustration or dissatisfaction, it also seems according to my opinion of reading light novels that you should look for another antagonist as the character grows and not stay with one, since I have only seen that they have done that only work that was inuyasha and I would even tell you that there were more anatogonists besides him, author with all respect and my opinion as someone has been with you from the beginning, you must end these antagonists and look for others to keep those 3 until the end ..... You did a great job setting up everything and having everything fall into place. But so many chapters have been used and you made Lu Chen this unbeatable power house.
If he trained for a month he could be unbeatable by any human
He allowed Liu feifei to dictate his life and now that he doesn't he's seen as a prince charming so all girls love him
He knows he was an asshole before and now he is more level headed
He has the future knowledge of so many businesses that he can invest and make money.
He desires no women because none are worthy(his words) and I'm assuming that included shuchan.... (a lot of the descriptions could be misunderstandings because all Lu Chens feelings are EXTREME, no inbetween and that might be a translation thing)
Now even with all that he has accomplished, he was constantly compared to his GENIUS grandfather who was a playboy. Yet Lu Chen focuses on no woman and still falls short of him.
With all the money he can make its nothing compared to the Liu family, who would crush the Lu family if Lu Chen breaks it off with feifei even though feifei openly cucked teenage Lu Chen.
And with his entourage killing goons out of no where and easily they can remove threats at any time......
So 250 chapters in and Lu Chen can crush all his enemies at any given time... yet he doesn't
He can kill Long shen, yet he doesn't (neither does his grandfather who can allow his future granddaughter in law to cheat and his grandson to be cucked, yet talked about Lu Chen bringing ruin to the family with HIS actions)
I think what people are frustrated with, is how power Lu Chen is and the fact that all he's doing is dancing around his issues. He's allowing threats to linger and build power because he wants to "crush them slowly". He hides all he knows from his family.
We have all these characters and they are all loving Lu Chen for almost no reason. He barely interacts with people on a personal level and even treats people as bothersome even though they are trying to be nice.
If he truly didn't care about Liu Feifei anymore, why not get rid of Long shen? Why need revenge if the girl means nothing to you?
In the first chapter it seemed like Liu Feifei moved up I. The world thanks to marrying Lu Chen. But now we're are hearing that the Liu family is above the Lu's?
Liu Feifei was worried about her parents finding out about Long Shen, but Lu Chens grandfather could care less?
The Liu family doesn't need the Lu family so why doesn't Feifei break the engagement??
Lu Chen is all powerful and can actually do ANYTHING he wants. But the plot is just Him ALLOWING a weak, low birth, murderous Long Shen live for no reason. And listening to his grandfathers forced engagement.
So all this means is that in Lu Chen's first life.... his grandfather KNEW what kind of relationship Lu Chen had with Feifei and he ALLOWED his family to be killed off.
I have to agree with a lot of the recent comments if the Liu family grandparents aren't the real villains this story won't make any sense. If you were truly friend's and you found out your granddaughter was cheating on your friend's grandson and you had them engaged to be wed you would definitely step in and I know we haven't seen any of the Liu family admit they know but if Chen grandpa knows then the man who is more powerful should also know. On top of that since this is a marriage of business you should also be stopping this because even if you are the stronger corporation if it was fond out by other corporation that your engaged granddaughter is out here cheating on her partner that you set up to help increase your company standing even if you did get more powerful it would destroy both families because the cheated on would look weak and you would not be able to trust the cheater nobody would do business with you no matter how powerful because they would never trust your contracts or if you tried to set somebody else up in a relationship to empower your family more nobody would accept because they have seen how your family deals with such things.
Seriously author the plot is so slow with chapters this short. I strongly advice you to reconsider future plot.

Came to see some chapters and hoping there would be progress but nope. Author, the story is about to reach its first year since first upload but the timeline in the story only reached 1 or 2 months at most.
I already dropped this novel once but has given it a chance hoping there would be some progress. I'm extremely disappointed. I'm losing patience.
I ain't looking back the next time this novel disappoint me.
I think it's better you crush Gao Jinhai Family first and take control of the city, i am not complaining because it's too slow but to make this story much more interesting than ever
I do not think it works, it is like explaining if antagonist is a mystery or we do not know who he is, but we simply already hate antagonist at too high a level (we want him to die), so I said the best thing is to create new antagonists since not if they deceived them or by the same attitude of the villain (who for me is a coward, who hides behind the skirt of that stupid woman), frankly I believe the best if he still maintains it I believe the majority who still follow the story or support it will still leave now who are disgusted annoyed and more than all frustrated with those two (who should be first to fall to have villains for my concept). It is my opinion on the subject then start to read and ask others what should happen or what should be done in these cases.
