Chapter 288: Given a chance
When Lu Chen arrived in front of the classroom, he was prepared!
Blocking her escape route? Check.
Prepared to apologize the moment he goes in front of her? Got it.
Having his legs ready to block any attack to his crotch? Prepared that in the beginning!
Lu Chen made all the arrangements to say sorry to Feng Meifeng.
'Oh good, she came here early.' Lu Chen walks up to her, "Feng Meifeng, can we please talk today?" This time he wanted a proper conversation with her. However, Feng Meifeng didn't look at him and turned her head away.
"I'm really sorry about what I said before." Feng Meifeng got out of her seat, ready to leave the classroom again. But Lu Chen was prepared as he was standing at the front door.
"Get out of my way." Feng Meifeng pushes Lu Chen away.
Lu Chen tries to grab her arm. But then,
Slap! Everybody who wasn't watching the scene unfolds was shocked by the loud slap! But the most surprised person is Lu Chen.
"What was that for?" He couldn't understand why she was acting like this.
"Don't touch me with your dirty hands!" Feng Meifeng's face was full of hatred and anger.
'Dirty hands?' Lu Chen took it personally now. He shouts at her, "What's your deal?!" The only thing he wanted was to apologize to her.
"I don't have a deal! I just want you to leave me alone!" Feng Meifeng shouted that at him! Remembering the happy look Lu Chen had was sickening. Kang Shuchun was right. The two of them are in different worlds.
"What's wrong with you?"
"Nothing wrong. I don't want a womanizer like you to stay close to me!" Feng Meifeng backs away from him while looking at him like he's scum.
Lu Chen grits his teeth, "Fine! I'll leave you alone. Just don't bother me ever again." Lu Chen storms out of the classroom without looking back.

After class ended, Feng Meifeng walked around the shopping district. She didn't want to go back to the classroom. She knew the people there would be looking at her with weird gazes.
She wasn't an animal.
'He didn't come back.' Lu Chen didn't come back to class. Zhang Jian had come over to ask her where he was. But she shunned him as well.
Feng Meifeng shakes her head, 'Stop thinking about him!' Lu Chen's angry face was something that kept coming into her mind.
'We aren't friends anymore.' When Feng Meifeng keeps thinking about this, a heavy feeling keeps sinking into her.
As she continues to walk about, somebody called out to her,
"Xiao Feng." A sweet voice calls out to her.
"What do you want?" Despite the warm voice, Feng Meifeng's voice was cold. She didn't turn around towards the person.
The voice was enough for her to know who it was.
"Can we talk?" Lai Dingxiang continues to use the sweetest voice possible to talk to her.
"Leave me alone!" Feng Meifeng snarls at him. She was already in a bad mood today. She didn't want to deal with him now either.
Lai Dingxiang grabs onto her arm, "Please, give me a chance. I just want to apologize for what I did to you."
Feng Meifeng was going to slap his hands off, but she stopped. She looks at him weirdly. Never did she think Lai Dingxiang would give up on her like that. With how much he's been chasing her, she never expects him to apologize now.
Seeing her weird look, Lai Dingxiang nods and continues, "I know what I have done to you is wrong now. I won't bother you anymore. But please, can we go back to how we were when we were kids?
Like, let's have dinner together."
When Feng Meifeng heard that, she was about to leave. His apology meant nothing with the last sentence being said. And going back to childhood friends? That would be impossible. The damage done was something that can't be overlooked.
Lai Dingxiang quickly changed his approach, "It's just a regular dinner between two friends. After that, I won't bother you anymore."
"...You promise you won't bother me anymore?" Feng Meifeng was skeptical of what he was trying to pull. However, if he does leave her alone, then that would be the best,
Lai Dingxiang nods quickly, "Yes! I won't bother you anymore."
"..Fine."
"Alright! I'll pick you up after school then!" Lai Dingxiang had a bright face as he said this.
Feng Meifeng didn't say anymore as she walked back to class. However, what she didn't see was Lai Dingxiang making a sinister face.
Yeah, you're really killing the story for me with this, a bit of idiocy is fine but when characters go full ret*rd without even trying to talk to another one it kills stories(If the character was known for going full ret*rd I wouldn't like it but I would understand it but not even that) and she not only went full ret*rd on the MC, she also seems to have forgotten completely how to preserve herself.
Long Shen prepares an "aphrodisiac rape dinner" for her to trap the MC...this is why you kill the rabid dog not injure it!
This is only my personal guess as to what will happen..I do not actually know!
The guy is not Long Shen it's Fei bodyguard he's the one who always refers to people as dogs. Now I just wonder whose plan this is. Is it a Fei plan to get back it Lu by hurting a friend of his or is it the bodyguard trying to hurt Lu to get back it Kang?

She can slap and beat lu chen.... BECAUSE OF HER OWN CONFLICT, but her harasser can put a hand on her.
Ok look. Lu Chen was "above all women" and the only person he had any development with was Feng, up until now and he confesses to shuchun for no f*cking reason.
But now Feng, whose entire character was DOING THE RIGHT THING, can allow herself to be this f*cking stupid?
All Lu Chen had to do, was shoot Long Shen, and all his future problems would be gone becauae of his knowledge.
But the plot was forced onto him because the Liu family is MORE POWERFUL than his. Yet EVERY VILLAIN AND ASSAULTER of Lu Chen are from even lesser houses than him.
Lu Chen hasn't stood up to a single female yet. And ended up in a relationship with one without reason.
When Liu Feifei got too hot tempered he would unleash killing intent and be "put in place"... he never spoke against his mother(love her though) or any other woman, while having a high and mighty attitude. And yet he allows himself to lose face constantly by them?
Don't mean to be constantly negative. But damn.
Feng has now dropped to last place in Waifu rankings. Zhang is now ahead of her
Again author, just how much will you degrade the MC. It is like MC has no self respect in front of girls. First he became a dog for Liu fei fei and now feng meifeng. Just because they are girls, bit*h fei can punch him and now moron feng just slapped him. For godsake he is also a young master from a respectable and wealthy family not some hooligan.
And what's with that womanizer? Lu chen never hit on her. It's just her inferiority complex due to their statuses. I can bet my entire wealth that in the few chapters the self degraded MC will save this woman.
No proper communication....and seriously that Dingxiang guy is just like Lu chen (first life)

" scene along with "hero saving damsel in distress"
In my opinion it's better to let that dingxiang guy get better and have Feng ,and her& MC being just friends.

That's one of the reasons why I'm doing this scene is And mentally, I'll say I did something weird with Lu Chen.
Ah yes, easily emotionally manipulated in his first life, easily manipulated in second life.
Lu is pathetic still, but I’m leaning on the “it’s only been 2 months (if that) since his return to the past” so I’m trying to forgive him for being so pathetic still.
Feng knees and slaps Lu on instinct and the actual guy she doesn’t like gets hesitation and a date agreement while Lu can’t even apologize. I get she is frustrated due to the person she really likes being “with” someone else, but it seems super excessive.
I shake my head. you ruined Shuchun and Feng for me, but due to Lu easily manipulated personality I assume everything will be forgiven.
I mean who doesn’t want a relationship with an emotional manipulator who attacks other women behind your back even before you have said anything about going out or exclusivity?
And who wouldn’t include in their harem someone that physically attacks you, twice, when they are emotionally upset and that are also very naive?
Is Feng Meifeng out of the harem? Or there's no harem route anymore?
Hope Lu chen rescue her on the 'right time' and 'way' that makes Feng Meifeng fall in love and still loves him even he have a harem.
