Kayla stared at the bowl filled with fruits. Though there were only a few it was clear to her that they were picked in a hurry.

Lacey had spent what little energy she managed to hold on to in order to get them. Knowing full well that her comrade did all this while also carrying her to safety and treated her wounds, wasn’t enough to stop the anger that boiled within her.

“You need to eat, Kayla,” Lacey said as her blue eyes gazed upon her silent friend, “I know it may not be much but-” Lacey stopped mid-sentence as she noticed Kayla’s hands gripped tightly at the bowl.

“How?!” she violently raised her head to face Lacey, “How do you expect me to eat! When Marilyn’s out somewhere in this forest, alone!” she yelled out, “She could be hurt or dying and here we are eating fruit!”

Those shouts weighed heavily on Lacey, but all she could do as her friend raged out was lower her eyes to the ground as she fought back against the welling up tears. Marilyn was not like both Lacey and Kayla. Both of them trained since childhood to be knight maidens. They have risen within the ranks as among the best. Yet Marilyn was a magician apprentice. Gifted as she was in magic, she never had formal combat training.

Ever since last night while she treated Kayla and kept watched until morning. No, even when she rushed the unconscious Kayla from the waters and escaped on the one remaining horse, with what little she could grab from their camp. Lacey could only think about how she failed everyone. She failed as a leader, a knight maiden, and especially as a friend.

“I know,” Lacey spoke with a soft voice, “the moment the siren was distracted, I should have had us retreat, if only I’d…” she paused, eyes filled with tears as she couldn’t even face her fellow knight maiden, “If only I’d been as great as everyone claims I am, but I’m not and I let that weakness lead to all this.” Kayla turned away from her, as she listened to Lacey’s voice. “I’m sorry, Kayla, I’m truly sorry!” She repeated the apology, on this early morning the journey of three friends, became a moment of regret and sorrow.

“Save the apology,” Kayla broke the depressing atmosphere with her words, “I’m just as guilty. Instead, I say we go find that magical drooler we call a friend,” she once again turned to look at Lacey, “so you can tell her those words yourself.” Kayla’s stern face soon eased into a smile. Lacey’s sorrow weighed a little less as she heard those words, and with a smile and slight nod, she replied.

“Yea, let’s find her, together.”

The morning was still young, both Dante and Marilyn began conversing more about their situations. The man from another world brought here by a so-called Goddess, and a self-proclaimed apprentice magician of a world filled with only women. It had been a long time since Dante spent so much time alone with a woman. On the other hand, Marilyn’s only interaction of the mythical opposite sex came from the stories of the ancient past, yet somehow the two have quickly gotten rather close.

“That’s incredible! You actually spoke to Neyth the junior!” Marilyn spoke out as she heard Dante’s story.

“I guess, though she seemed really immature. Is she really a goddess?” Dante asked. The only god he really paid attention to was the god of the bible. However, he grew out of that religious stuff, but now he’d been brought to a magical world by a goddess. Is this some sort of divine punishment for not believing? He couldn’t help but think.

“Of course she’s a Goddess!” Marilyn responded, “She’s the youngest of the Triune.”

“Triune? What’s that?”

“They’re what we call the three Goddesses who watch over all of Edythe, though compared to the other’s Neyth can be a bit mischievous and disruptive according to the myths.”

Mischievous and disruptive, huh? Just my luck. Not only was he randomly brought here with no real explanation, but the one who brought him was a real pain in the ass. Dante couldn’t help but think this really must be divine punishment.

“But still, I can’t believe she possessed me!” Marilyn spoke excitedly. “I wish I could see it; I mean not every day you get possessed by a goddess.” She continued on “Do you think she’ll show up again? Next time wake me so I can talk to her too!”

“How would that even work…?” Dante’s response went unnoticed as she continued rattling on. She really is a cute girl. Dante couldn’t help but think that as he looked at her. However, while it seemed she was excited over the situation, it became apparent to him while her mouth was smiling, her eyes told a different story.

“Marilyn, are you really okay.”

“Yes of course I am and it’s all thanks to you! “she continued smiling, “now that I think about it, I haven’t thanked you properly.” She once again went on another tangent, “How about I-”

“Marilyn, aren’t you taking this whole situation a bit too well,” Dante interjected.

“Wh-what do you mean? I’m good, I really a-”

“Are you? Or are you trying not to think about your friends?”

“I-I…!” as she heard his response her chatty mood and faked smile slowly crumbled. Sher could feel the tears she tried so hard to hold back, beginning to overflow as she tried to reply.

“It’s alright,” Dante reached his muscular arm out and placed it on her shoulder, “I know we haven’t known each other for long, but didn’t I promise you I’d help you find them.” as he spoke Marilyn focused her teary gaze unto his rugged face, “We’re partners now you and I, so we’re in this together.”

Marilyn’s lips formed a smile once more as she heard him. Even though her eyes were stained with tears, there was no doubt in his mind this time it was genuine.

“Have you calmed down?” Dante asked.

“Yes, thank you,” Marilyn said, “I’m sorry about that, I just-” before she could finish Dante shook his head.

“It’s fine.” He replied. Though Dante was also having his internal battle unbeknownst to Marilyn. Despite the shirt being so big on her, a certain part still managed to fill it out. God, even when she moves a little, they jiggle so much.

After sitting with her for a bit Dante was reaching is limit. He finally decided to stand up and head to his jeep, as he opened the back seat, he grabbed a large duffle bag. Marilyn sat by the extinguished fire as she made a puzzled expression at the sight of him rummaging through somethings. “These should do,” he spoke as he turned around with a new pair of clothes in hand, “Can’t have you go search the woods in just a T-shirt.” For both our sakes. Dante thought to himself as his eyes fell onto the young lady. Her bare, smooth legs, the large bust that jiggled with the slightest movement, and of course their perky tips which contested against the fabric. A view such as this would be too much for any man and Dante was no exception.

“I see, well then, I shall get changed right away.”

“I’ll leave them here and I’ll go so you cou-” Dante’s eyes immediately widened at the view in front of him. Marilyn stood up and with no hesitation slipped out of the shirt.

“It’s so big, it came off so easily.” She muttered as she came over to Dante to put on the clothes in his hand. “Is something wrong?” she inquired as Dante stood silent, his eyes fixed onto her. Marilyn stood with all laid bare before him. Yet as she felt his eyes upon her a sudden feeling began to rise within her. It’s just like this morning, even though he’s just looking at me… I feel so tingly inside.

“N-no, it’s just…” Dante’s mind struggled to keep focus as his gaze and thoughts were pulled into the bountiful view before him, “here’s the clothes.”

“Are you for sure nothing’s wrong? You keep looking back and forth at me,” Marilyn crept closer as she talked, “Did you want to have a look at me once more, like earlier?” these feelings were a first for Marilyn, though she didn’t dislike it. In truth, she wanted to pursue these emotions more.

“No, I-I told you, it’s nothing, just take the clothes!” Dante said as he averted his gaze once more.

“Really-!” as she spoke, she tripped on something.

“Watch out!” Dante quickly noticed and rushed up to catch the falling girl.

“Grammercy, you saved me,” she said; however, Dante’s attention was focused on the soft and warm feeling which enveloped his hand. “Ah!” Marilyn released a sweet cry as Dante’s fingers groped her womanly assets.

“My bad! I didn’t –”

“No, it’s fine, I was just a little surprised,” she immediately said as her lips parted into a smile. Her face completely flushed.

“Anyway, here’s the clothes, I’ll be over there. Let me know when your done changing.” He quickly spoke as he pushed the clothes onto her, covering her body.

“Wait, hold on!” her words were of no use as he headed into the woods. My chest felt like it was on fire, I’ve never felt that before...Marilyn reminisced about his touch as her hand grabbed her breast. He didn’t have to let go so quickly... A sigh left her mouth as she stared off into the direction Dante walked off too.

Dante Leaned against a tree, a heavy sigh escaped his mouth as he looked up into the morning sky.

“Damn…they were so huge…” the words left his mouth as he turned to his hand which reflexively groped at the air as the image of her breasts filled his mind. It wasn’t long before he noticed a familiar reaction developing in his lower regions. “Shit…!”
