It should be somewhere near half a day to reach the dungeon if you use the road. One little village-like settlement lies on the way where you can rest a bit and then go right to the dungeon via forest.

Using a straight way, I sure spent much less time for that. Maybe somewhere near 3 hours or so I guess, not like my inner clock works good. At first, I tried to run a little but quickly gave up on this idea. The most simple reason for that was a fact that my speed is too damn fast, while my senses are too damn normal. So the result of my running was my face meeting any obstacle on my way. It was pretty unpleasant even if the one who suffered the most damage was an obstacle.

So with that reason, I was using just a fast walk. I still stumbled a few times because geta is still a fucking uncomfortable piece of shit, but I somehow managed to reach my destination. It was pretty dark already, but I still could check the map and made sure that I took the right way. If I believe some map marks I should have to meet some wild monsters on my way. I don’t really know is it a good or bad sign that there was no any.

But that’s not important.

Remembering my first dungeon I imagined some kind of door, but this one was looking like a simple cave. Well, a rather big one with its entrance being somewhere near 4 meters in height and 5 in width. There also was a guild sign near the entrance, so I checked it.

Dungeon ‘C’. Rank ‘C’. Recommended party members – 4 people.

So I guess I didn’t miss. Now all I can hope is that there were no plan changes for that party I’m searching for and we not got separated as a result of me using a straight way.

But well, it would be better for them and fewer problems for me. After all, I also got a quest for exploring both with a rescue one so it won’t hurt to just run over this dungeon a little.

“But lazy.”

Yeah yeah, I know your opinion, Ms. Me. Let’s go already.

.

.

.

“Dis dungeon suck.”

Sure. Of course. I fucking knew that something would go wrong and it won’t be my damn fault. But at least it’s obvious now that party guys are really in this dungeon because it is undoubtedly explored. Carved corpses of monsters, disarmed traps, looted chests. These guys sure knew how to do their job! Are they really just a ‘D’-rank? It looks like they sure were qualified for a rank-up. But still, according to scouts, there should be some changes that are no good for them.

And so my first dungeon challenge was a walk on an empty burned corridors. My second dungeon challenge is an explored labyrinth with no hint of danger or reason for being here. Fascinating.

*yawn*

While searching for passages to the next floors, I got pretty sleepy. It should be night already. I was glad to have some random supplies so I won’t feel hungry or thirsty, but there are no potions to cure sleepiness. Or I just haven’t met any. Anyway, that little party should also be tired while exploring, so if it’s a night they sure must prepare some kind of camp. So logically thinking they should either do camping right now or, I dunno, fighting a boss? If second than they will kill it or die somehow and I won’t be in time anyway.

So with these thoughts, I decided to take a nap. I couldn’t put a whole camping set into my pockets but…

“Tada!”

I got a pillow! It was really hard to both put it into my pocket and pull it out, you know. In theory, I can also try to put there some thin sheets and stuff, but they will be thin and will take too much time both to put them and pull them away. I’ll think about improving my camping experience later. With that I have I found a somehow comfortable corner and leaned on the wall while putting a pillow under my head. Well, it could be worse but the fact that my body doesn’t feel that much cold from this stone walls helps. So I fall asleep while hugging my tail.

.

.

When I woke up, I felt like something was pushing me. But when I opened my eyes, there was something in them.

Annoying.

After wiping my eyes what I found was…blood?

 “Umm…”

There was some wolf-like monster desperately trying to bite my head. Not only him but a bunch of his friends was also trying to tear me apart. The blood on my face was actually a wolf breaking his fang while biting my head with all his strength. Well, that’s funny.

“Fuck off.”

Grabbing a stranger’s heads eating lover I threw him into the wall, leaving only a blood spot from him. After that, I destroyed his friends. The pillow was irrevocably destroyed in the process. Sad.

And again I can’t understand shit about how my body works in terms of feelings. I feel touches somehow. If I fall or hit the wall while running I feel some pain. Some umm….more private…khm…stuff also works. But why the fuck when somebody or something hits me I feel nothing? It seems like if there will be some big stone bolder running on me, I will find out about it only after I flew away a few kilometers after being hit.

But it’s strange. I don’t know if it’s somehow my fault or one of this dungeon’s problems, but it looks like monsters have resurrected while there is no signs or yesterday’s exploring. If I remember correctly, monsters in a dungeon only revive if the boss was defeated and the last room portal was used. Or if a party that was exploring it is wiped out. Or if you will wait for some long time that is different for some dungeons but usually it’s 24 hours or something.

Conclusion – there is a lot of things wrong with this dungeon. Well, I can guess that guys I should search for are actually died or cleared the dungeon. In both ways, the dungeon might not see my presence and so reset. But let’s not think about it and rush to the direction of the last floor.

The way dungeon resets actually helped me a lot. Where are more traps – there is a right way. But it still was just a walk for me. Arrows were just deflected from my skin, some stones and stuff just broke against my head and fire was heating me a little. I guess my walk looks ultra-silly if you watch it from the side. Probably.

After reaching the last (I hope so) floor I suddenly stumbled. And again. And again.

 “Just what tha…”

A whole floor was a goddamn quintessence of shattered stones, cracks and whatever else you could trip over. Especially if you wear a damn geta! Trying not to fall and swearing anything I could to this damn floor I walked slowly until I heard some shouts at the end of a corridor.

“Everyone stay back!”

And then some battle sounds could be heard. I speed up but regretted it right away after tripping unlucky enough to actually let my nose meet the floor.

“Fuck!”

And why THIS is painful? I had a fucking arrow in my forehead, and it was ok! Yet again swearing to my strange body and bloody regime I went to the direction of sounds.

“AAAAA!”

I really feel like they are not having fun there. So I tried to speed up again but just a little.

Step, step, step, stumble.

Step, step, step, stumble.

Step, step, step…for fuck sake AGAIN?

“AAAARGH! God u fucking dammit! Ill never get used to wear dis fucking piece of shit!”

After shouting this, I noticed that I was already in the room where all the commotion occurred.

At first tl;dr schedule will be one chapter/week with maybe some extras I'm not sure for now.

At second - ayy, the main story finally meets the pseudo-prologue!

With that said I thought it is somehow a time to insert some rather long author's note to talk about some stuff.

But more importantly - thank you all for reading my story! I really appreciate it. As not a native English speaker I'm struggling a lot while trying to keep my writing understandable and keep my grammar in check, but I'm honestly trying hard. Maybe someday I'll find someone willing to help me editing this stuff I wrote so it will be more appealing for ones who can't tolerate mistakes.

So let's go to the main point. I started writing this story in Russian like a year ago or something and was struggling a bit via some lack of motivation and stuff. But then I saw a scribble hub and thought it would be a good idea to actually translate what I wrote and finally show my story to other people. After all, Russian platforms for original stories suck ass.

So why chapter/week schedule? First, I have only two more chapters done in Russian so after I finish them I'm going to start writing in English from scratch. I guess it could be more time consuming, but if I do good work, I will publish more then one chapter/week for sure. Second, I got some driving exam coming at me, so I need to focus on it a little.

I will post all random plan changes in my hub's profile here, so you may follow me or just check it out sometimes. I can also answer any questions if you suddenly have some.

Thank you again for reading and have a nice day!

And some extra thanks to Aster for drawing Yuki so I could make a cover image for this story. Thank you.
