Kai Village.

After the incidence of the opening of Aperture of the youths, the villagers were moved to the Kame Village.

Right now, the whole Village was barricaded and many Gu Masters were stationed around the boundary. Some were keeping a lookout from the newly constructed outposts while some Gu Masters scouted the surroundings.

While the combat Gu Masters positioned themselves to defend this village, two Gu Masters could be seen placed on the centre of the village.

One of them had an ear emerging out of his left palm as he placed it on the ground. He closed his eyes and slowly sensed his surroundings. 

His ears could be seen twitching continuously as the land vibrated accordingly.

Meanwhile, the other Gu Master poured his Primeval Essence into his Gu Worm and his whole body grew dark red hair around his body.

The newly emerged hair gave out metallic sheen and the Gu Master's body looked vicious. 

His appearance was akin to a hairy monster with thick muscles hidden underneath those crimson 'fur'

"Hehe, I think that we are really close to the treasure." The youth with an ear growing out of his palm laughed.

"Kaiser, don't lose focus. If you have time to laugh, you should keep on investigating the whole area." The burly monster spoke out as he observed the surroundings for any hostile being.

The world of Gu Masters was extremely mysterious and it wouldn't hurt to be extra cautious.

"Hmph, I don't need you telling me that! Just stick to your job and shut up!" The youth named Kaiser snorted and shouted at his bodyguard.

Hearing his words, the defending Gu Master only narrowed his eyes and snorted coldly.

Seeing that he had gone silent, Kaiser smiled smugly and placed his palm on the surface once again.

'Hmph, you were only lucky to find that Palm Ear Gu Worm in the wild. Just find the damn treasure and I will kill you myself." The defending Gu Master snorted internally.

"Hehe, with this Palm Ear Gu, investigating the underground surface is very easy. I am lucky to find the Rank 2 version of the Gu. If it would've been a Rank 1 Gu Worm, then it would be more troublesome and we would have to dig quite often."

Kaiser felt happy and lucky. If he actually found the inheritance, he may be able to swallow it whole and not give the Clan any piece of it.

But it would depend on the value of the treasure itself.

At this moment, he suddenly heard the tremors and his expression paled. His eyes rolled over and his nose started bleeding.

Seeing such a sudden change, the defending Gu Master did not help Kaiser, instead, he retreated immediately and looked around with a hint of caution in his eyes.

The moment the Gu Master retreated, Kaiser's head exploded like a watermelon. Blood and brain matter flew out and ruined the surroundings.

By now, the attention of the surrounding Gu Masters was also attracted towards the two 'star' Gu Masters of their Village.

But none of them had any time to do anything. Everyone felt their hearts thumping out loud and their expressions paled visibly.

Including the Red Haired Gu Master, all of their heads exploded, similar to Kaiser. 

Their hope of finding the treasure, their hope of contributing to the family were destroyed.... along their heads.

The whole village was littered with brain matter and blood as headless corpses fell on the ground with a light thump.

"Hehehe, did I hear treasure?" 

A black-robed man walked inside the village. His face hidden under a grass hat. But his hands were visible.

From the tips of his fingers, red smoke rolled out and covered the corpses of the Gu Masters.

"Bring me a plate of Horse Roost Legs and a jug of Bright Red Water." Gohan ordered and leaned back on his seat.

He quietly looked around and found that there were many hunters already getting drunk. Some were laughing and some argued with each other. The whole restaurant was rowdy.

"Hehe, I have heard that Lord Clan Head has already dispatched a group of Gu Masters to locate the treasure of the Kai Village."

"Man, those slaves really hit a fortune. All of the mortals are granted the rights of regular villagers and their offsprings are at least C Grade Aptitudes. Heck! My kid couldn't even open his aperture."

A hunter shouted indignantly.

"Sigh, these things aren't in our control. No point thinking about it. Let's drink!"

Another hunter sighed and picked up his jug with a dispirited expression.

Gohan already knew about the situation. The Kai Village produced dozens of talented Gu Masters, this situation caused the Elders and the Clan Head to eye the location of the village with greed.

It was speculated that the aperture of the youths was forced open by the residual energy of the treasure in the village.

If the residual energy was so potent, then the true value of the energy could only be imagined.

"Maybe it's an Immortal Inheritance." Gohan couldn't think of anything else.

According to the information from the academy, there are nine Ranks of Cultivation of a Gu Master.

Rank 1, Rank 2 and Rank 3 Gu Masters can be found in any location and in the grand scheme of things, these three ranks are only considered slightly larger ants.

Rank 4 and Rank 5 become the true strength of the mortal Clans. Rank 4 Gu Masters are strong enough to start their own Clans while Rank 5 Gu Masters can move unhindered in the mortal realm.

Rank 6 to Rank 8 Gu Masters are also called Gu Immortals. The information about the methods of attaining the realm of Gu Immortal is highly obscured. 

It is also said that these Gu Immortals can slaughter millions of Rank 5 Gu Masters with a simple wave of their hands.

And lastly, Rank 9 Venerables.

The meat of this chicken had a soft exterior, but the main attraction of this dish is the bones of the animal.

Surprisingly, the bones of this Horse-Chicken is flavoured and eatable.

Spicy meat entered his mouth and he couldn't help but chew lightly.

The bone inside was crushed easily and a sweet flavour flooded his taste buds.

"What? Say that again and I will fucking kill you! You Bastard!"

"Keke! What? Your wife came to me! Do you understand? She goddamn came to me! If you have such a problem, keep your woman satisfied."

Another voice replied with a smug tone.

"You!"

A burly man stood up and grabbed the collars of a middle-aged man with a thin body.

"Hehe, look at the size of your body! I bet you are wishing now that you were big 'there' too!" 

The thin man mocked him and smiled lightly. 

Slice

Two long marks appeared on the neck of the burly man and the Middle-aged man. 

Their necks immediately opened and blood squirted out like a fountain.

Under the sound of gushing blood, the whole restaurant fell silent.

"Cheh, destroying my mood." An irritated voice emerged.

A young man stood up. His robes clean and a green belt with a metal buckle could be seen on his waist. The metal buckle also had number '1' inscribed on its surface.

"Hehe, such arrogance! I am trying to have a nice and relaxing meal and you had to fight!"

"Wind Qi Gu!" Gohan knew the name of the Gu Worm utilised to slice the necks of these two hunters.

He wasn't bothered by the fact that two men were killed in front of his eyes.

"Now, you lot–" Before the young man could complete his statement, his head suddenly exploded.

Following him, the heads of everyone started to explode.

The waiter's head exploded and the food fell on the ground, mixed with blood and brain.

"You are coming with me!" Gohan felt a huge pressure on his body and his mind went blank. His vision darkened and he lost his consciousness.

Southern Continent is filled with various mountains sporting different seasons. The most lucrative feature of the Southern Continent is that each mountain has some sort of clan or individual ruling the area.

In some cases, a Clan may also control more than one mountain. These clans are blessed with Immortal fortune and also produce a Gu Immortal every hundreds of years.

Out of all the Super Families of the Southern Continent, The Saiyan Family is considered the strongest Immortal Faction. 

Right now, a meeting of all the Gu Immortals is being held in their Clan Headquarters.

"Are you sure that you made it look like an attack of a Demonic Path Gu Immortal?"

A man shrouded in a white glow asked solemnly.

In front of him stood a man in a black robe and his expression was hidden under the Grass Hat.

"Yes, I used Blood Path to kill those Gu Masters and searched the entire mountain. I found nothing. I have also left my investigative means. If treasure emerges, it will trigger my Gu Worms and send me the signal."

Around him stood many four old men and two old women.

"Hmph! How can we trust you? You must have gotten something for yourself!" One of them spoke coldly. His eyes narrowed and gazed at the black-robed man.

"Pfft! If you want a piece of me then ask plainly. I will fight you whenever you want. It's just that you are still a Rank 6 old man and I can kill you in one move."

"Do you want to take that risk?" 

The voice of the black-robed man turned cold.

"You!?"

The old man's face turned ugly. He could only point at the black-robed man and breath heavily.

"Enough! You have completed your mission. Go back." The man shrouded in light waved his hands and disappeared.

"Hmph." The old waved his sleeves and went away. 

The other Gu Immortals nodded at the black-robed man and left the room.

The black robed man looked a little dazed as he walked out of the room.

"Great Strength True Martial Physique.... ah... one of the Extreme Physiques talented in Strength Path and close combat. Right now, he is still young and cannot show his true power.... just cultivate a little more..."

He muttered internally.
