Southern Continent, An Clan!

An Clan was located in a small village and belonged to the Saiyan Clan of the continent. The Saiyan Clan was one of the strongest superpowers of the continent and controlled a lot of subsidiary Gu Clans to make use of.

This kind of situation was extremely common as the Subsidiary Clan will be able to settle on a prosperous land and cultivate good talents while the Head Clan will make use of their expertise and benefit themselves.

An Clan was located on a special land that was known for its underground maze. The Underground Maze was held a notorious reputation as many ambitious Gu Masters entered the maze to explore and make big gains only to lose their paths and have their fates sealed inside the maze.

But this maze did provide a lot of Wild Gu Worms as well as cultivation and refinement materials to the An Clan.

At this moment, a light tremor passed through the An Clan with the Underground Maze as its source and a golden glow could be seen emerging like a miniature sun from the entrance of the maze.

The whole clan was mesmerized by the scene while a special energy spreading from the maze alerted almost all the superpowers near the An Clan.

Desolate Ape Mountain, Saiyan Clan.

The Desolate Ape Mountain is the gathering point of the strongest Gu Immortals of the Saiyan Clan.

Inside the Clan Head's chamber, two figures could be seen.

Sitting on the main chair was a person shrouded by a cloud of white smoke and gave off an ethereal bearing while the white-haired youth standing in front of him looked devilishly handsome.

His pure white hair fell on his shoulder and gave off a feeling of gracefulness and soft temperament. But anyone acquainted with Devil Ape Immortal would know that this appearance is just a facade while a strong and cunning warrior is hidden behind the noble image.

Seeing that nobody was inside the hall, Devil Ape thought for a while before removing his disguising method and his real appearance was presented in front of the Clan Head.

He kneeled on one leg and politely greeted him.

"Big Brother, I have felt a pulse of immortal aperture near the boy with ten Extreme Physique."

Vegeta spoke softly. His unbearable attitude and arrogant behaviour were completely covered by a polite attitude.

"Blessed Land... this is a good opportunity for the family. Alright, you will bring Caulifa and Kale with yourself and fight for the inheritance of the Blessed Land. After the task is finished, you will bring the boy back to the clan."

Broly, the clan head, thought for a while and issued the command. 

Seeing Vegeta's attitude made him completely satisfied. Even though Broly knew that it was all a facade, he understood that a human heart cannot be changed in a of days and it takes a long time to create a sense of belonging in the family. 

Not only that, Vegeta was his blood brother and it would reflect badly on his reputation if he does not 'show' his effort on the surface to try and help Vegeta settle down. 

This decision was completely solidified after Vegeta showed his extraordinary combat prowess in the Realm of Rank 7.

Such is the life of Gu Immortals. Even if they both are blood brothers, the benefit is considered primarily and then the mortal relations.

Just like Broly, Vegeta also had his own intentions. If he actually stated that he really missed his family then Vegeta would look even more suspicious.

He was already hundreds of years old and returned to the family only recently and also in secret at that. Besides Broly, nobody knew that the previous Clan Head had two offsprings.

Living alone for such a long time has already proven that Vegeta doesn't care for familial relationship and looks for the Saiyan Clan for some benefits.

Vegeta quickly nodded and agreed to Broly's command and quickly left with two young female Gu Masters.

Meanwhile, such a situation could be seen in other superpowers as well. 

The emergence of a Blessed Land is an uncommon situation and the various clans of Southern Continent have already formed some policies on how to fight for such resources.

At this time, Gohan was quietly cultivating inside the strange tunnel as he still hasn't found the next exit.

As he cultivated, he tried to communicate with Hope Gu once again, but for some reasons, Gohan wasn't able to feel the existence of the Gu Worm inside his heart.

He couldn't help but frown at the development and slowly, his mind started to form an assumption and he immediately stopped cultivating and sent all of his Gu Worms inside his Aperture while he quickly hid the parchments of Gu Refining inside his fur clothings.

He simply sat back and closed his eyes to meditate while he waited.

There is only one reason that the Hope Gu will hide its presence— It felt a threat.

And only Gu Immortals can threaten the existence of Hope Gu.

Usually, Gu Worms in the world cannot form their own consciousness but they always have their own will.

But the situation with Hope Gu was slightly complicated.

Not only did Hope Gu have slight sentience, but it also had a 'will' to hide around Gu Immortals. Of course, Gohan wasn't complaining about the situation and held slight curiosity. If he wanted to, he could expose the Hope Gu with a slight mental Command because of him refining the Gu Worm himself.

Even though he couldn't feel the Gu Worm, he knew that it existed and could easily command it.

"But... why?"

This was the main question.

He was already captured by a Gu Immortal once and he didn't like the feeling of getting captured again.
