Chapter 341

Another news splash, a serious one at that. People from New Zealand started attacking each other. The Demons didn't touch them at all, instead, the Demons were laughing as they watched how the people killed each other. As if they were crazy, jealous of each other, they bare their own fangs and some even bite flesh to kill each other. No, they were not zombies, they were not flesh-eating monsters too, they were just ordinary humans. 

The only thing that changed about them was their ideology, or their aspect of self-control. These people wanted to kill each other because of one purpose, jealousy. 

The Demons were laughing at them, it was entertaining to see people fighting, kicking, and killing each other. Even some mothers were jealous of their babies, probably because of their youth, anyway, the mothers ate their children alive and raw. It was a horrible sight. 

"Oi, putang-ina si Optimum Pride, urgh urgh urgh urgh!!"

On every street, dead bodies lay around. The Demons get some popcorns and pizza to eat. Gawddamn, it's funny how people become crazy and start killing each other. 

It only took one hour before every people in New Zealand, either Hunter or not, died. Nobody survived, because the remaining ones killed themselves too. 

"Bravo, bravo!!"

The Demons clapped their hands because of the masterpiece. They started bowing at one person. 

A woman with brown hair and curved horns like a sheep was staring down at the self-slaughter. 

She was the Demon Lord of Envy, Jade Levia. She was the cause of this tragedy, in just one snap of her fingers, the people started turning crazy. 

Jade yawned and called her subordinates. 

"Yes, my Lord."

"Where is the nearest place? The show is already finished so I want to find another one."

"But what about this island, my Lord?"

"Meh, just destroy it."

Jade didn't care about this country, it was garbage. Because in her opinion, everything that she acknowledge was a real treasure. As long as she didn't see this country as treasure, then it's garbage. And garbage was meant to be burned.

She treated herself as the greatest treasure, the most beautiful creature, the revered one. If she sees someone who was much greater or more beautiful than her, she would kill it.

That was her motto. 

'You can't be jealous if you have everything. You can't be jealous if you destroy everything.'

… She had a point.

While the world was slowly dying, Kyle and the others teleport to the Flying Fortress. 

Without a second, Kyle started commanding the Guild members. He warned them that the situation was deadly and they have to be prepared. The ordinary people evacuated and left the Fortress.

Kyle did his best, yet he knew that he was caught off guard. 

'Ivan shouldn't open the Gate of Underworld, it's not his role. Damn it!'

He cursed deep inside. 

He knew the reason why the future altered, it was because of his interference. He changed a lot of things which caused this very moment. 

Now, the Earth was covered with darkness, again. This was the start where everything would be destroyed. This was the moment that he was trying to prevent. Yet, because of him, the future became unreadable. 

Kyle realized that not every Regressor could change the future. 

'It was a scam. Those Regressors, Time Travelers, Returners, and Second Chances, not everyone will have a-happy-ever-after. That's not how it works.'

Only children and people who had mental disorders would believe that everything would fall into their hands. The world was always realistic because it was real in the first place. People who believe that the world revolves around them were stupid. 

So, right now, these Demons were going to show the truth. That there was no such a thing as 'happy ever after.' This is not a fairy tale.

Kyle prepared the members and the route of the Flying Fortress started gliding towards the USA. Kyle planned to go to the Hunters Association's main headquarters which was in Los Angeles. 

On top of that, Kyle wanted to consult the Dwarves about the cure. They strongly needed the cure right now, because millions of people were going to be affected by the corruption. 

"I have to contact Kim Soo-Woon too…"

Kyle didn't know how many Demon Lords entered this planet. Earth was a unique planet and Demons took interest in the planet. Especially the power system of the Hunters, it was a masterpiece and even the Demon Lords admit that it was a great concept. 

"Kyle… She is following us."

Miriam pulled the hem of his shirt, she was closing her eyes and confirmed that the red-haired woman, Elizabeth Luxuria, was following the Flying Fortress. 

It was a shock that she easily found them. Well, nothing could beat the ability of Gods, unless other Gods. 

Elizabeth used her blood manipulation to fly. She was stepping on a disc of blood and flying in the air. She crossed her arms as she stared at the unknown flying mechanism. 

To be honest, she was amazed at how this huge device fly in the sky. This was the first time she witnessed this kind of stuff. 

"It's like a floating island… How wonderful."

She became curious about how the people of this planet invented that device. 

"I'll take it."

Elizabeth was like a spoiled child who would take a toy from her playmates. So she would own this Flying Fortress.

"Huh? Again, they are covering it with fog. Possibly because of my Skill, as expected, that Miriam is dangerous."

Elizabeth thought that Miriam was the one who knew about her secret. Perhaps Miriam had the Skill to determine someone's power. 

"Not that it matters, my plan is to kill her anyway."

Elizabeth started flying faster to reach the Fortress. She didn't want to put a scratch on her property and she planned to clean the interior thoroughly. Perhaps she would paint the inside with blood. 

However, she stopped her dash when she saw an incoming pillar of light. The Beam was so powerful that the dark sky was lightened up. 

"Woah, what's that?"

She evaded the light inches away, for a moment, she was frightened. She felt that the Beam had enough power to damage her. 

"I'm intrigued how they have this kind of unique ability. As expected, now I know why my father wants this place. This planet is extraordinary, how they can create unique powers like that?"

She grinned.
