Chapter 409

It was kind of a letdown that the only way to contact Kyle was to use this seashell. They couldn't even see his face, only his voice. Indeed, Kyle was serious about the threat. He didn't show his face nor did he tell his location, not even Miriam could find him. 

With the Runes and technology they developed together, Kyle used that said technology to hide from her eyes, just like always. 

The seashell started ringing, after a few seconds, it stopped and a voice of a male could be heard. 

"Miriam, so I assume that they are already there."

His cold voice echoed and all of the people inside the room clearly heard him. 

"Yes, they are all here."

Miriam nodded bitterly. To be honest she wanted Kyle to greet her at least. 

Most of the people in the room were big shots. The Dwarves were busy outside drinking beer, but they were technically there. 

As for the Methuselahs and Succubus, they still couldn't trust those denizens so they were not included. So overall, the important people were in this room. 

"Good, but first of all, I want to make sure that there are no spies and corrupted. Furthermore, check the room, maybe someone is listening over this conversation."

"Don't worry, there's no spy here and no corrupted either."

Mikael assured. Out of all of them, he had the strongest senses. He could sense if a Demon was close to them. 

"If Mikael said so." Kyle chuckled. "Well, now that we are here, I want you to listen--"

"No, I'm not here for that."

Mikael disturbed him, staring at the seashell. He was not here to negotiate. He was here to announce his intention. So that no one would bother him. 

"I want to attack the Underworld. So before you try to add me to your calculation, I will say that I will move on my own."

Mikael was firm about it. 

"I'm not you're dog anymore."

He won't listen to any of his commands. 

"... I see, as expected."

There was a pause. There was disappointment in Kyle's voice, but he was not that stupid. 

"Okay, I will try to change the plan."

"Good, now I have to leave. Just give me the time and date and I will go to the portal to massacre Demons."

Mikael stood. In the first place, he didn't have any intention of listening to their plan. He had his own plan. He only wanted to talk to Kyle. 

"W- wait! Mikael!"

Miriam tried to stop him but Mikael already walked away. 

"That's it? You won't even finish the meeting?"

"No."

Just like him, Furrneka followed suit before giving Andromeda and Princess Belle a scoff. Maybe her instincts were telling her that these two were dangerous. 

Mikael and Furrneka left the room without thinking about the opinion of the others. Not even Klein could stop him. 

Miriam sighed. Deep inside, she was cursing herself at what happened to Nina. This caused a massive change in them. 

"T- then, maybe we can start the meeting."

Andromeda tried to make the atmosphere better. Although she was kind of disappointed that Mikael left too, without even looking at her. 

"Yeah, this is an important matter, we have to take it seriously."

Princess Belle added. She was not affected, because she already knew that this would happen. Besides, this was a good plan too. At least this scene ended well and no one tried to stop Mikael. 

'If anyone of them tried to stop him, he will...'

She didn't know why she found it hot and sexy. Anyway, Mikael had his reasons why he wanted to leave. 

'He said that there are no spies and corrupted people close to us, but he detected something. An Item that can decipher our conversation is standing two kilometers away from the conference, and it is waiting to intercept this conversation.'

She was still holding her innocent smile and everybody agree with her. 

"So I guess I talk now, huh."

Kyle chuckled. 

When he started, all of the people inside listened seriously. 

"Our mission is to kill the Demon Lord of Wrath."

It was an announcement that nobody knows the real threat except for the Beastmen. 

Kitsune and King Shenten frowned. The Demon Lord of Wrath, Satan, was one of the three Demon Lords who invaded their planet. 

Even Kitsune met that creature once, that abomination was eating her tribe members like they were fried chicken and dipped them in their own blood like it was a sauce. 

"And I assume you know where we can find that Demon Lord?"

Klein asked. Based on what he knew, Underworld was a huge planet. Maybe this Demon Lord was not even living in the Underworld. 

"Yeah, I have an idea where we can find him."

Kyle assured them. 

'I never entered the Underworld but there was someone, Kim Soo-Woon, it was fortunate that he said it to me before I died. Satan is the Demon Lord who controlled 1/3 of rifts. So if he died, the rifts will disappear too...'

It was a conjecture. 

Kyle understood that he couldn't end this at once because their forces were still weak. But they have to minimize the deterioration no matter what, so they have to kill the Demon Lord of Wrath. 

"I'm thinking of sending at least a thousand strong members to this plan. We can't afford to send everyone... Because there is a chance that some of us will die."

Actually, there is a strong chance that they will all die. 

"And yes, I'm going to be the leader of this mission."

Before Miriam could stop him, Kyle already dropped a bomb. He didn't want to stay behind and let the plan fail, he knew the location where they could find the Demon Lord. 

Miriam wanted to retort but she bit her lip instead. She was already traumatized by what happened last time, yet Kyle was still ready to enter the battlefield. 

"... What is the possibility of us dying?"

"50- 50."

Perhaps more. 

To prevent this destruction, they didn't have a choice but to do so. In the end, they decided to go with the plan. In terms of this, Kyle was one of the best.
