Sorry for the delayed update's,
I got sick...
So there was no way I could give my time writing the chapters =3=.
But I feel a bit better now.
So here we go~...

-Meanwhile, while Estel.co was hunted down by the undead.-

// The Source //

Leanne right now is with the King and Knight commander.
They are discussing the source of the undead with the king.
However, Leanne had already speculated that the cause of the undead is none other than her mother's curse.

The king then questioned her thoughts.

"But the curse is already slowly dissipating from her body.
What makes you think, that this was caused by it?"

Leanne turned to her own mother resting on the bed.
"For three reasons."

"The first that the curse hadn't fully faded away.
The second that my mother remains asleep and finally third that the undead came from out of nowhere the moment it broke not only that but their aim and goal is none other than her."

"Only means that whoever cursed placed upon my mother held a much more sinister intention."

The king had a grim look on his face the moment he heard it, as she gazed at his wife.
"Then... what was the intention?"

Leanne shook her head showing even she was clueless.
However, she then said.
"Capable of unleashing this much chaos inside the palace.
It's fortunate that she is still even alive right now."

As everyone in the room gazed at the queen with worry.
Leanne had another worry to think about.

[Seriously, Estel.
How on earth did you free my mother's curse?
This kind of calamity is likely the work of a powerful sorcerer.

But still...
To break it in a mere second without any kind of grand magic.

Is something I can only expect of the daughter of the demon-king.
But still, why would they despise a person with such a powerful ability?
Was she caged there just to do this?

If that was the case, then...]

Leanne then deeply exhaled as he told everyone.
"It would be wise to keep my mother's curse a secret from everyone.
We don't know what kind of idiot will try to sacrifice her
If they did know what had happened here."

The king and Knight captain nodded to her but gave Leanne a wry smile at her cautious attitude towards to her own soldiers. As the thought of their own queen being thrown to the undead out of desperation may perhaps be a terrible scenario.

-After Estel had arrived in the Knight Quarters-

// Light mage and the undead.//

"Your royal highness!" A man cried out from afar.
"We received a report from the knights."

Leanne and co. are with her father discussing their next move.
Their intention and plan were to escape towards the outer palace.
Then reach the only exit, until the undead or curse finally lifted.

"Report?" The king turned to Leanne as he then gave him the nod.

"A powerful light mage had recently arrived and rescued the prince's."

In the king's mind, he had a bright and surprised expression.
"Are you sure?
Where on earth did this light-mage come from."

Leanne and Lana swiftly smacked their face with their hand.
As the king turned to them to see their reddish face with a hand-mark.
Leanne then asked with a frustrated look on her face.

"Did that light-mage perhaps have silver hair?"

The knight nods.

Leanne and Lana then exhaled deeply.
"Seriously, that girl..." Lana said with a bored expression.

The king was puzzled as he then recalled the young lass with her daughter who held silver hair.
"That friend you brought was a light mage?"

Leanne at this point had no choice but to comply.
"Yes, I thought she knew something about curses,
So I brought her along to at least tell us more about it.
Unfortunately, she was just a novice at best,
Though I never expected the potion,
We bought from a peddler could break my mother's curse."

[Technically she just snatched that trinket from my mother's room just to make that excuse.
My father, fortunately, bought it, since he was too happy to notice it.]
A/N: Extra detail I forgot to add. -my bad.

"I see..." giving Leanne a serious expression,
She then turned to the knight as she asked.
"How is she?"

"Well... she collapses after eradicating a horde of the undead a fellow knight was fighting.
They were then rescued when a specter chasing them from behind."

As the soldier said these words,
Leanne had a worried look.
"As expected..."

Lana then turned to her to ask.
"She often does, pushes herself too hard that she forget others are around her.
Though, its quite fortunate your brothers were rescued by her."

The king who was waiting for them to finish then made a discussion with the Knight.

He then explained a dangerous situation, regarding changes of the undead that are appearing slowly becoming much more threatening as time passes. Leanne who overheard this could only feel an ominous threat slowly looming towards them if they remain within the quarters.

Safety was no longer guaranteed as the knights are being put at risk, as specters and other threats such as wraiths had started to appear in the palace.

She then proceeded to the place where Estel rested while her father continued his work.

// Estel's Woe's...//

I've shown this power only once, just to keep Leanne and Lana faith in mind.
But after the carriage attack, I had not much choice but to reveal it a second time as I rather not become enslaved by bandits.

I promised myself to never use it again.

But why...
Why is my life in so much danger the moment I reached this place?
Where did my peaceful maid life go?
Why the hell did the Queen have such a dangerous curse attached to her!?

"Agggggh, it's no use.
I don't wanna think anymore.
After all this blow's over, I have no choice but to run away."

Aisha who then noticed her flow of thoughts then realized.
"Ho... you are finally reconsidering flying?
Finally, we can stop being servants to these humans." it said with a cheer.

Estel was resting, in her bed feeling weak and tired after the conflict she had faced.
"Ugh, still I hate heights," she said with a tired expression while rolled a bit in the bed.

"Hmpf, better get ove-" as Aisha was about to retort he then felt something.
Estel herself sensed it as well.

"You gotta be kidding me..." as she said with a tired expression.

"You recall the moment I talked about 3 powerful presence in this place?"

"Right."

"Well... one of those threats is slowly closing in this place.
It is also being followed by the rest, it appears to be fleeing from it."

"Great...
Another reason to abandon my peaceful moment.
Also, how on earth are you able to sense them now?" she asks.

Aisha then said with a reasonable answer.
"That is simply because they were not close enough.
Though I sensed two of them.
When we entered the palace while you were knocked out.
They don't seem to have noticed your presence.

The third, however, was completely unknown to me, as It's presence were quite ambiguous.
But became known the moment you broke the curse."

"Eh?
So... it appeared because I broke the curse?"

"Yes... it was likely sleeping within the curse you broke.
If you recalled the room, where a large mass of zombie had appeared within the wall.
It was only then I sensed it's presence."
Estel groaned as she stood with an exhausted body, being able to rest for a few moments.
No sooner the door in her room opened, with Leanne's angry expression.

Along with her brothers behind her.

[Give me a break...] were her last few thoughts to the situation.

// Meeting among siblings. //

As Leanne was guided by the knight she soon meet the two brother by the door of her room.
The awkward meeting left the two with a surprised expression.

"Sister?"

"Brother."

"Big Sis!" as Ronald were the first to jump and hug Leanne with a cheerful smile of a young boy who had tasted an adventure in his boring life as a noble.

"Your friend is amazing!?
Can you tell us her name?"

Leanne had a surprised expression as he watched her younger brother ecstatic.
She could only give him a wry smile as she was about to speak.
Lance interrupted with his own question.

"I never imagined the daughter of Corona wielded such powerful light magic."

As he complimented Estel's magic, the two then went.

"Huh?" Leanne and co.

"What's with that look?
She is the daughter of Corona. Right?"

Leanne then could predict what had happened.
As she once again smacked her face with her hand.
Lana, however, was about to speak.

"She's act-" with Leanne stopping her words with a stomping her foot.

"Ow!" she whispered in her ear.

"It's a mess as it is already,
Let's keep it this way so my parents can't lock her up in the palace."

Indeed Leanne had already made Estel a visitor from another country.
With the Emblem of corona-pocketwatch she held, she can technically claim herself as a princess of that nation. Though the real threat was the demon-kins that are dangerously in the castle.

Lana could only groan as she said.
"This is undoubtedly a mess."

As they soon turned to the two brothers.
With Leanne who then said, she is a princess of Corona.
Using the name "Laura."

________________________________________________________________________________

// There is no time. //

"Laura...
Are you feeling fine now?" She politely said.

But as Estel gazed at Leanne angry expression,
She could only give a bored expression as she then thought.

[Now I have to deal with this?
What kind of mess is this?
But looking at how she's calling me Laura.
I can guess it's an Alias for her brothers?
Thankfully I never told them my name, while I had them tag along.]

"Yes... a bit winded.
But we have another problem.
Something extremely dangerous is coming to this place.
We need to run away!" As Estel said those words.

Leanne and Lana had a confused expression.
But Lance who had experienced her warnings swiftly said.
"My father should be making preparation for our evacuation.
I'll swiftly warn him about it." he said with a worried expression.

With only the four of them left in the room.

"What do you mean dangerous?" Lana ask.
Estel then gazed at Ronald who was curious.

"Do you recall, the room where a lot of hands appeared."

The three nodded.

"Well, something sinister also came out of that place.
And its possibly the cause of this undead madness we are going through.
I don't intend to find out what it is...

Nor do I wish to see that thing."

Ronald then said.
"Can't you just use your magic to defeat it?"

Estel then paled the moment she heard it.
As she then said to her brother with a gentle smile.
"I'm too tired...
The moment I used light magic in front of you...
I wasn't able to properly control it."

Indeed, Estel failed to control it.
She is undoubtedly a novice at magic.
With Aisha's aid, she was able to conjure and manipulate spells through its assistance.

However,
Aisha cannot control how much power Estel will bring to her spells.
Her familiar warned her a few times to be careful when utilizing them.
Which was the reason it had only taught her the basics such as Restoration or Blinding Spheres?

Both spells use merely a small portion of her strength.
and possess a limit as the moment the spell had reached the proper amount of power.
It will reveal itself at its peak.

[Holy Light] on the other hand, is an offensive spell that required control.
As the brightness of the spell is based on its user, normally used as a beacon to repel the undead.

Estel desire was to purify the horde of undead in front of them.
Her fatal mistake was the fact she utilized its power without understanding its purpose.
She instead made a brightly burning light that eradicated the undead in front of her in an instant.
Which is the reason why, she is now completely exhausted.

Leanne and Lana had a worried expression as they gazed at her.
Estel was undoubtedly extremely tired, as she fell unto Roland trying to keep herself up as her legs shook from weakness.

"I'm sorry, am I heavy?" she asked.

Roland then shook his head as he then told her.
"It's fine, you should rest.
We will have people to move you instead."

Leanne and Lana then understood that she was no longer fit to help them in her current state.
