Day 3:

Estel was left in her room to rest due to her shock.
Given a set of tea to calm her nerves her sister soon left to deal with the other candidates that were soon directed to a guest room. Her grandfather on the other hand required to explain himself to the council who are now currently being assaulted by complaints from the incident.

As time passed by it soon turned to night.
She finally calmed her nerves but still had to assess what had just happened.
[Let's see, I made a huge bright light...
I made a gigantic bright light...
Then it turned into a miniature black hole right out of the sci-fi movies.

What the @#*&!] she slammed her hand to her table as she then groaned covering her head with her hand, slouching her head on the table.

"Aaarrghh!"

Luna who was behind her then bluntly said.
"Aren't you thinking a little too much?
We managed to at least stop their fight."

But Estel could only turn at her with an exhausted look on her face.

"That's... right...
Ha-ha-ha-ha...."

"You did stop it.
But..."

As she then cried out her complaint.
"I didn't tell you, to blow up the sky and cause one gigantic mess!

Agh!
what should I do?"

She did not expect her magic to become so ludicrous that it would blot out the sky,
Causing such pandemic occurrence across inside the demon-kingdom.

Luna and Aisha simply gazed at her with a bored expression on their face.
Aisha in annoyance then said to her.

"They were mocking us.
It was simply ideal to show them how powerful we are by making an example."

Estel replied in a monotonous tone.

"You. call. that...
Making an example!?"

With an irritated expression on her face, she replied.

"You can't even call that an example at all!
What the hell!

It's more like trying to kill them!
Where did your common sense go!"

To Aisha's reply trying to reason with her.
"You don't expect two elder dragons to stop fighting without any intention to kill them, do you?"

Estel then retorts.
"But that gigantic explosion was enough to wipe the castle whole if one of them even tried to block it!"

Aisha then calmly replied with a blank expression on his face.
"Which was why we aimed it slightly in a higher angle.
We simply need to be threatening enough for them to stop.

And also...

No dragon would be stupid enough to block that mass of destructive force!
Unless that person lost his/her senses even a child would know to avoid it!"

Luna then shrugged adding to Aisha's words.

"If one even dare to guard against it.
It would be like trying to jump over a pit of lava and die while trying to swim in it."

Then chuckling as it said those word.
But Estel was still annoyed and questioned them.

"Then...
Why the heck did you goad me into producing such a thing!
If you two knew how dangerous it was!" while seriously darting her eyes directed at both of them.

Aisha then went silent, it didn't answer but simply gazed away.
Luna was doing the same thing when Estel gaze turned towards it.

She then paled and had a thought.
The demon-kingdom seeks out a leader which value power above all else.
Aisha and Luna were people who had lived in the demon-kin race.
For them to not realize the repercussions of causing such an attack, she then had an epiphany.

"No... way.
Did you two expected this to happen!?"

Both the dragon familiar were silent.
Confirming her suspicion.

She bowed on her knees with a regretful expression on her face.
[I shouldn't have agreed to their plan.
It was a terrible mistake on my part.

I should have known that my own familiars would feel agitated at those who belittled me, enough to pull this kind of stunt.]

As she then screamed in her mind.
[AAARRRGHH, THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!?]

Lamenting her poor decision.
It was all too late for her to realize it.

But Luna then asked her.
"Why do you not seem to reject the idea of becoming a Queen?"

Estel paused for a moment.
She then turned to Luna and Aisha as they silently awaited her answer.

...

...

...

"Tell me...
Why did the white dragons become extinct?"

Luna's reply was blunt as she then said.
"Because they were simply too weak."

Her eyes then turned to Aisha.
"Because our protectors were failures!" was his reply.

Estel sighed at both of them.
"The both of you, are wrong." As the two familiars tilted its heads.

Aisha grinned at her with its wide mouth as it asked.
"Then tell us, what you think if you are so wise?"

Estel was silent, she placed her fingers on her brow in annoyance.

"I was pretty sure you told me the reason already.
Isn't it because our race drew too much attention?"

Aisha replied.
"We are in the demon-kingdom ruled by your father.
There is no enemy here that would dare lay a hand on us.

That would be incredible treason to this kingdom."

But Estel simply groaned once more.
"Treason or no treason.
That still doesn't mean, no one can touch us!
I didn't want this much attention directed at us.

Especially after this whole fiasco."

Aisha remained silent its eyes turned into frustration aware of Estel's reasons.
It was a fact that the attention drawn by her race was already drawing attention.

But even if the castle were to hide the fact that Estel was the one who produced such magic.

The candidates or those who witnessed, what had happened would likely spread the news.

Luna however simply scoff's at her.
"I highly doubt any of the candidates would dare try to aim for your life.
You have shown how powerful you are by creating a small demonstration.
Showing that you could simply wipe their whole clan clean on the face of the earth."

Estel then replied to her.
"Then, tell me...
Did your former master lived long enough to reach the end of his lifespan?"

"..." Luna was speechless as she said those words.

But Estel continued to speak.
"I don't think they perished without reason...
It may indeed be true that your power can cause oneself to lose control.
But if this was enough to make them lose their mind then...

I believe there is another reason that pushed them to that edge.

Tell me...
How did the families of those who carried the moonlight fare?"

Luna eyes went wide as she heard her, then remained silent.
but that alone was enough to answer her question.
 "..."

"Figures...
I should tell you this now...
If any of those I care about were to disappear from this world because of me.

Then even I would lose myself in a bitter rage." She said while recalling the moment, how Lana was taken out by arrows. How they were attacked by bandits and dangerous being started sprawling from out of nowhere.

[This world is extremely different compared to my old one.
It's full of uncertain things, I wouldn't be too surprised if something tried to kill me by remaining here. Which is why...]

"It's for the best for me.
To stay away from them as soon as possible." she firmly said to her familiars.

"I am saying this, not for my selfish wish as a child or anything like that.
But for the sake of those around me." The two familiars could only close their eyes as they listened.

Estel then said to Aisha.

"Now that you're awake.
I'll need your help the most."

Aisha's eyes narrowed to Estel's eyes.
It was trembling while sensing distress and fear from her heart.
Yet Aisha could not deny most of the things she has said.
The white dragons were gone but now that time has passed not many knows of the proud race.

Becoming the Queen means that Estel will gain tremendous force protecting her.
But will that truly keep her safe? was Aisha's greatest doubt.

Luna, on the other hand, was indifferent, yet holds regret of watching most of her former master perish from their own power.

It was at this moment the two familiar was struck with a question.
[Will this truly keep her safe?]

Estel then said to the two.
"I will speak to grandfather and request for a way to get out of this place.
Hopefully, return to bristle through the gate.

There is no need for us to use our power to live in this world.
We can simply live peacefully somewhere and try to survive amongst the humans."

Aisha then said.
"You are aware that the light dragons also perished from human territories."

To Estel reply.
"Their problem was the fact, they exposed themselves as dragons and asked for their help.
I already have a plan intended for us to peacefully live without our identity being exposed."

...

...

...

Silence filled the air in the room as she said those words.
Aisha then gave her a deep sigh.
"This is perhaps the first time I would agree to such a ridiculous request.
But I do not intend to repeat the same mistake as before...
I can't deny the words you said.

So... I will give you my support for this."

Estel's eyes then turned to Luna, the tiny black dragon was silently gazing at the window.
"I suppose remaining in the shadows will undoubtedly be safer.
This is possibly one of the most ridiculous decisions I have ever heard from my own master.
To refuse the honor of being a leader of this kingdom never has it ever been done before...

But if this is your decision, I will not stop you."

As it answered her question Estel gave a sigh of relief.
She had felt like her own two familiars had driven her into a corner.
If they somehow decided to reject it, she would undoubtedly lose their assistance as most of her ability to manipulate magic was pitiful enough that she could not escape without their aid.

"I will speak to grandfather then.
Hopefully, Father and sister will listen as well."

As she soon returned to bed,
Worrily thinking of what would happen next in the few days.
There were many things that were still boggling her mind.

Which was the source of the rage which the dragon held towards the Order of Light.
She felt uneasy and wished to return to Bristle and return to speak with Leanne.

Day 4 of Estel Stay in the Castle: Morning.

After taking my daily meals.
I swiftly turned to the servants assigned to me.
Normally I wouldn't interact with them, but the fact I know nothing of where my sister or grandfather makes this feel difficult.

As I approached the servant in question, however...
The person began to tremble, it's cute rabbit ears with white hair features and a young appearance of a maid close to my age made me feel comfortable yet, I can't recognize her.

I suppose after my little stunt they swiftly made a move and changed the servant attending my side.

But still...
This one is too cute, that a strange thought came to my mind.
[If I was a man I'd probably eat her right up.]

Fortunately, I'm not that desperate just yet.
Let's ask her if she knows how to lead me to them.

"Do you know where my grandfather is?" I said to her in a calm voice.

The young maid fidgetted and looked away abit then glanced at me.

[It reminded me of myself when I was still in the castle.
Terrified that one of my own kind would try to attack me like before...

To be honest, this room felt more comfortable.
But because of that, I became even more afraid of speaking to people.

I suppose Leanne's forceful way of dragging me into ridiculous scenario's pushed me in such a disposition that I don't really care anymore.]

I ask her again.
"Can you guide me to them?"

The young maid then repeatedly nodded, where I gently smiled at her as she soon guided me to the door. But what greeted me was strange gazes from the servants as we walked through the halls of the castle.

Aside from humans, there are also other races.
Similar to the current rules they are no longer permitted to leave the kingdom.

While wandering the castle following the maid assigned to her,
Substantial time has passed they were now on the 4th floor of the castle.
During this time she then noticed something catch the corner of her eyes from an open door.
she swiftly grabbed her shoulder then said.

"Stop."

The youthful maid turned to her with a confused expression on her face.

"Can you tell me what that room is?" she pointed with her finger asking her.

She then replied.
"That-is-the-castle's-armory.
My-lady." as she said those words Estel grinned a bit while moving forward entering the open door.

As the two entered the room a few soldiers who were gauging their weapon.
One of them swiftly said.
"The Cala-" which another swiftly smacked his face stopping his mouth from saying anymore.

"Your highness, what makes you come here?" As the soldier asked her, she simply continued walking towards a set of armor well lined up while the maid lightly bowed to him while following her.

She then said.
"Does anyone own these set of armor's?" Estel asked the soldier.

He made a salute, then explained.
"Those are spare armor for the castle's use.
Most of the soldiers here have their own set of armor outfitted for their sizes."

Estel then bowed to the soldier lightly.
"Then you don't mind if I borrow them?"

The two guards then said.
"Eh?"

"Borrow?"

Estel then whispered on her shoulders where Luna was currently disguised as an armlet.

"Luna, if you don't mind...
I'm not too good at manipulating my magic yet."

To Luna's reply who is currently on her arm.

"Good grief...
Aisha did you not teach this child anything?"

Aisha replied.
"This child knows nothing of magic.
We are on our own, but it seems she has plans for those armors.

Just let her have it..."

The armlet spoke with one another then finally Estel's shadow's extended swallowing the armor whole.

To the soldiers and maid surprise, five-set of the castle armor was gone as they fell into a wide shadow. She then turned to the soldiers then curtsied, as she winked at the guards while saying.

"My apologies...
Tell your superiors, that this was my own decision."

As she soon turns to leave the room while the maid swiftly returning towards their objective.

To guide her where her grandfather currently is...

 [It's impossible to escape alone.
Even if I did...
I only know a little about this place.

At least back in bristle,
Leanne was at least a bit more reliable.
I wonder how is she doing?]

My brain is apparently running out of juices.
Slow updates inevitable.

My brain somehow have plans of  writing this story in a different timeline.
But I want it to finish this first.
