My grandfather called it, False Wings.
It's feathery white color's emanated an illusion that they are silver feathery wings.
When in actual fact it's true color was actually similar to the moon which is actually grey.

I asked him if I remained a half white dragon because of this.
He replied that even if my wings were grey.
The fact that my scale's had the ability to break curses similar to them, still made me a part of their race albeit unique in a sense. I was displeased with his words as I complained about it.

He then told me that despite its true color, the dominant attribute I have...
Was still Light.

I then asked him.
"What's a moonlight dragon?"

As he was about to open his mouth.

Aisha interrupted as it then spoke for him
"They are a powerful race of dragons within the light race regarded as the strongest of their clan. Because of their ability to draw our power from both elements.
Usually, they are created through a dark and light dragon making a child.
However, the odds were extremely slim.

When our numbers grew thinner it was then.
They forbade an attempt to make one.
As survival of our own race became a priority."

Her grandfather then replied.

"Your grandmother wished for a single one to at least be born.
Yet it ended in failure as none of her children became one.
Though, to have a half-human turned out to be one is an unexpected surprise."

I could only give him a tired expression as he said those words.
But at least now I know what I truly am.

// These attribute are way more dangerous than I thought. //

One fact I've learned about it my attribute was...
The fact I can store a few objects within my shadow.

My father is able to somehow store up to 50 or so objects with it make it quite convenient.
On my side, I can only store up to four objects based on their size.
He told me this ability required a bit of training to carry more.
As apparently when I tried to push anymore than four,
It somehow degrades my ability to focus.

After placing six objects, it simply released two random objects inside it after a minute.

I wanted to increase the number of things with it,
So I can carry without risking my personal belongings.
Thus I told him, I'll try to practice with rocks for now.

Aside from that...
He also revealed to me that he can use all of the attributes except for Light.
When Lana and Leanne overheard it, their jaw dropped.
They soon explained it to me, that having more than one attribute is a blessing.

Holding two attribute was rare.
While Three Attributes were blessed that they were capable of being an Arch-mage.
Holding onto five or so were pretty much regarded as extremely gifted that they would undoubtedly train and hire that person to serve for their country.

Though, they also told me that carrying two exceptionally rare attributes such as light and darkness were regarded as extremely unnatural as attributes usually weaken the other.
But, when I asked Aisha about it, it simply told me with a grumpy expression.

"You shouldn't worry about needless things.
Do not doubt your own blood.
The fact I am here at your side only means you are still part of the white dragon clan."

As it then said.

"Light cannot exist without darkness and the vice versa.
You can try performing mixing the two elements and you will see how exceptionally powerful they are together."

Estel then asked.
"Then why can't grandpa use light?"

"Because he is simply a Dragon of Darkness.
It is simply by mere luck that your human blood housed the shadow attribute."

"Making yourself a unique being of your our kind,
You should be proud."

As Aisha said those words to me, I tried applying both of my attributes into a single sphere.
But my father then shouted at me.
"Stop!" as he triggered the circle he prepared below us.

The attribute I tried to mix, suddenly faded from my hand.
He then scolded me with worry heeding me a warning that trying to mix the two elements make them extremely volatile.

It was then, he told me I can try using it as long as he was around.
I then tried for a second time, with him behind me trying to merge the two elements.

It turned into an eerie ball of white and dark light.

He then conjured a simple earth statue in a distance in front of me, he then told me to throw.

With a light push of my hand, the eerie ball went in the direction weightlessly.

As it soon consumed the statue in its colors.
It was then I understood the reason why he scolded me.

The statue simply disintegrated along with the floor, he then later fixed it.

I felt like, I just narrowly escaped death with my grandfather's help.
I told myself, "I'll never mix these attributes until I have full control of it."

My grandfather then replied with a single word.
"Good."

I turned to Leanne and Lana, they both had an awkward smile while looking at me.
As time flowed, we ended up practicing til dusk that we had forgotten about the time.

It wasn't too physically tiring, and we ended up enjoying it.
Leanne however, took the short end of the straw as she constantly electrified herself.

Her body was sour with Lana giving her a piggyback carry.

// Evan's Crowley's The Head Master //

I made a deal with a dragon.
No, that man is perhaps worse than a dragon.
To think the former demon-king that once made himself known across the kingdom.
Would appear in my fair school and to suddenly request to become a teacher for his granddaughter.

This... Feel's... completely... unrealistic!

As he struck the wooden desk he sits in, with his clenched fist as it made a *Thud*.

"What was her majesty thinking!?
This school is a place for many nations, nobles, and princes.
A prestigious school, whose the main goal is to provide the highest education for humans!

Not for demon-kind that often breaks common sense!"

As he closed his eyes and slumped into his desk he then complained.

[Oh my dear goddess, why is this happening now.
Why didn't this, happen to my predecessors instead of me!

If one of them even croaks or get eaten by his pet!
The one to be blamed will undoubtedly be me!

Not only that...
I had to dispatch the special forces of the academy usually used to rescue students from noble lineage to keep watch of a young girl and her grandfather.

Ah... what a crisis this turned into.]

*knock* *Knock*

As soon as he opens his eyes he turns to see his own special force captured the young prince of Roswell with his guard following him. As he then said.

"Unhand me!,
What is the meaning of this!"

He sighed.
[Already a problem huh...]

One of his men with a pale look on his face then said.
"This young lad just tried to pick a fight with them.
Claiming the young girl is just a simple maid."

The headmaster had a furious look as he gazed at him with irritation.
"What do you mean by the maid?
Mr. Alex of Roswell?"

He then cried out.
"That girl was once a maid here!
I don't know why you treat her like a noble participating in our classes.
But that person doesn't deserve to be here!"

[I whole heart fully agree.
But, it appears her situation is complicated.
If she had to flee from such a distant country just to study here.

Her grandfather had already introduced himself to me as the former demon-king.
The only information I've given my staff is that she is a very powerful person that could bring ruin to the country.]

He then told the prince.
"That girl is no simple person.
If you think she is just a maid.
Then you are gravely mistaken, Mr. Alex."

He then showed a fierce glare at the headmaster as he soon asked.
Alex then replied.
"Then tell me...
Who the heck is she!?"

"Her name wasn't announced nor introduced to the other nobles.
She suddenly appeared from out of nowhere with Leanne in tow."

The headmaster showed a grievous look as he gazed at him with a bitter expression.
He then commanded his people to leave the room and pointed at his guard to leave as well.

As they soon left the room, he then sealed the room with magic preventing no noise from leaving it. Alex could only react with a pale look as he said.

"To go this far just to keep it confidential."

"That girl is..."

As he uttered the truth in his mouth.
He paled as his expression made a stupidly shocked expression.

he cried out to him.
"Shouldn't you warn the other students then!?"

He replied with a bitter look.
"That person right now is hiding from her own people.
Her grandfather told me with a warning that if she is somehow exposed.
Extremely dangerous people capable of destroying countries will come for her.

Not only that her grandfather is an elder dragon.
He is capable of annihilating the students of this school if he desired it."

As he then approached him and desperately said as he clung onto his shoulder with shaking hands.

"So, Prince of Roswell.
I advise you do not, provoke them any further.
I beg of you, not as your principal.
But as a person who is worried about your life!"

As he said these words, the prince was silent as he swallowed the saliva on his throat.
In the head masterminds as he left the room.

He then thought.
[I hope the letter I sent to an old friend, would help me with this problem.]

// Hard Mode. //

On the next day.

We did the same thing, but...
Alex arrived with spouting words, calling me a maid in public during the morning.
But suddenly he was then suddenly dragged away by guards along with his bodyguard.

Leanne and Lana simply shrugged when that happened.
Jake then later arrived with a worried expression, asking if Alex came.
We then told him he was dragged away by guards.

But then apologized because he told him about myself being Leanne's maid.
It was at that moment Leanne and Lana gave an awkward smile as they understood the situation.

I simply told him.
"Think nothing of it.
It was after all true, though."

He nodded then asked me the same question again, regarding the knight.
It was then at this moment, Leanne gave him a wide smirk while saying.
"Come with us to the academy training hall close to midday.
It's best to explain things, there."

He nods to her as he left to his own class.
I gave her an awkward smile as I asked her.
"Is that fine?"

Leanne simply told me.
"It's better to show him than simply telling.
After all, that whole scenario was ridiculous and difficult to explain, to begin with."

I could simply to agree to her statement.
As Lana was silently giggling as she imagined his expression.

After time passed by.
He then appeared as we requested from him.
Surprisingly he was patiently waiting for us.

It was then at that moment, we had him follow us to the training room which my father had prepared. He felt an eerie presence as he then said.

"What is this place?"

Leanne then said with a tired expression as she picked up a short sword from the rack.
"Our Hell."

As my grandfather was sitting in the corner of the room, holding the strange idol in his hand.
"Oh, this is surprising.
You invited a new person?" he asked.

"Um... who might you be?"

"I'm your instructor, also Estel's grandfather."
Jake expressed surprised as her grandfather then said.

"Well, since your here pick up a weapon from the rack around you."

As he said those words he picked up a long sword, as he then asked.
"What exactly are we doing here?"

With a snap of his finger, undead hands started to crawl around the walls.
As the idol in his hand came to life.

"Oh, new meat.
A pleasure to meat you.
Prepare to suffer weaklings!?"

He then paled as he saw the dead.
With a cry in his voice, he then turned to Leanne.
"What the heck is going on here!"

Leanne then said.
"It's as you can see, we had one heck of a day when we left this place."

But then as he turned his gaze to Luria,
he saw her move two sets of armor as her hands moved erratically,
It was then at that moment his expression turned to confusion.
[What the heck is going on here!?] was his cry as things grew hectic.

While fighting, it was explained to Jake everything that had happened.
Eventually, Leanne once again was the first to collapse, then jake.

I somehow managed to last an hour by manipulating only two puppets while Lana and I protected the two. But eventually, I collapsed which put the training to a halt.

We lasted at least an hour, with Leanne still feeling eager.

My grandfather then said to me.
"Look's like you are managing your own strength properly during the fight this time.
Your improving, though you still require a bit more endurance."

As room returned to normal, the three of us were gasping for breath.
Cushions and drinks which were prepared were soon brought in by Seid.

As we all slumped in exhaustion.

An hour passed by and we recovered from that,
It was then I took the chance to returned Jake his heirloom as I said.
"Thank you for letting me hold unto this.
We would have turned to slaves if it weren't for this."

He gave a puzzled and surprised expression as she said those words.
As she slumped into the cushion with an exhausted expression.

He then asked.
"What do you mean to turn into slaves!?"

Lana then spoke to him, as Leanne was still a bit tired.
"We were ambushed by bandits the moment we left the academy.
Unfortunately, the palace and city were on high alert due to the arrival of the demon-kins.
Leaving the roads unprotected."

Jake then asked.

"Then what is this about my heirloom and turning into slaves."

She then approached Luria as she asked.
"Is it fine for me to tell him?"

Which she replied.
"It's fine...
It should answer a few questions he keeps pestering me about."

As she said those words.
Lana then said,
"Luria is a light mage."

As he heard those words, his eyes grew wide with surprise.
He was silent as he wanted to say something to Estel but hesitated.
but then approached her, with a question in mind.
"Did you break the curse inside this jewel?
As well as the curse placed on me?"

Lana and Leanne were then asked with a troubled expression.
"What curse!?"

The two were simply surprised by his words as he gave the two a wry smile.
It was also the moment, that Estel answered him with a single word.

"Yes." as his expression grew brighter, she then confessed to him as she then said.
"I am also the daughter of the demon-king and my grandfather is a dragon."His face then paled as he heard it. Leanne and Lana who saw his troubled expression could only give him a wry smile.

Her grandfather who was watching them from a short distance then curiously asked Estel.
"Who is this young man?"

She then introduced her to him.
As his heart beated faster upon mentioning he was a dragon.

"His name is Jake of Carona from the neighboring country here.
He's the man who gave me his family heirloom.
Thankfully his heirloom was made out of diamonds which rescued us from the bandits using my own magic." her grandfather then curiously asked.

"Can you tell me the story?"

"Of course!" As she explained what had happened during the bandit attack and the rest of the story. Jake could only give a wry smile, as he gave a jealous expression toward his own his heirloom having an adventure of a lifetime.

As much as I love grammarly,
It sometimes repeats the words, when it's suppose to erase them. =_=
