Strafe had prepared and paved the way for Dyne to be a Cultivator. Cultivation was harsh and brutal. It was a path of facing the impossible.

Dyne would soon be alone. He would traverse the cultivation world by himself and face the armies of Strafe’s masters' enemies. And so, Strafe used the Imaginarium Bond to the greatest extent and even sacrificed countless God-tiered devices. Even the Ra-Serus used numerous artifacts that would have drove galaxies mad and wage war to another just to acquire them.

The stepping stone that Strafe had set for Dyne was also in place. He only had a year to live, and when Strafe made the three worlds, he knew it would not be enough for him to see Dyne's potential as a fighter. He also used the secret knowledge that his master bestowed on him as references to provide the world for Dyne to train in.

The hardest and possibly longest Cultivation point that any Cultivator would face was Soul Cultivation.

Body cultivation was easy. As taught by the Chinese, the concept of dantian existed in cultivation. Cultivators draw the energy of the world and absorb it to grow stronger. In Legaia, the Biron Monks practice it and even had knowledge of it that could compare to the lowest-ranked planets in Strafe’s world. But even with this, Tetsu had already reached the second level of the Martial Path.

Strafe did to Dyne's body because he never really cared to explain, as it was still not necessary for Dyne to know of it. He did not tell Dyne, but when he broke down Dyne’s body and used it to create his new body, Strafe crafted something that wasn’t present in his original body. It was what the Chinese called the Dantian. In Strafe’s world, this was called the Force Foundation.

For in this metaphysical organ that exists between the actual body and the spirit of the cultivator, all the essence of force and power would be made. The Force Foundation would exist as an actual organ in the body. Cultivators create it through taking medicines, having the animal organs implanted on their bodies, or applying magic on themselves. There were more diverse methods to make it, and Dyne had the most luxurious of them all.

Dyne had the most powerful Force Foundation because of the special materials that were used for it. It could do various things that many cultivators would die in envy if they knew Dyne had it. But even then, Dyne had not even begun to use it to its full extent.

After forming the Force Foundation organ, the cultivators gather energy to reform it, strengthen it, and raise its rank. The higher the rank, the more energy it could store and release. Through the use of Biron meditation, Tetsu was able to upgrade his Force Foundation organ by several levels. But when the Mist came, the prevalent death energy had halted Tetsu’s progress. It exhausted the energy stored inside it. Now, the only energy that would be in it would be acquired when he would eat food.

And so, he was far, far weaker than his original form. And even though it was like that, he was still able to outmatch the entire village of the Hunters and could even fight through dozens of Serus and survive. Spirit became his only chance of survival.

Strafe made Legaia like this so that Dyne would focus on developing Spirit and improving his martial technique. Using and improving the Force Foundation organ or the Dantian could be dealt with later.

But after that was another process. It could only happen if there were enough energy stored in the Force Foundation organ. After a sufficient amount of energy is stored in the Force Foundation, it could be sent into the brain, transforming the energy into something else.

For magic users, the force they have stored would create magic. But for other warriors and martial experts, it is used to create a force that enhances their punches or goes hand-in-hand with a sword. This was the Martial Code stage in which cultivators had to create an energy center or converter in their brain.

But the reason why Soul Cultivators are valued and become necessary to become true gods was because of a peculiar change that the soul could make to the heart. This would provide a secondary source of energy, allowing a cultivator to act as if he or she would have two Force Foundation organs or Dantians. It will serve as an additional source of true power. While magic users will have to convert the energy in their dantians to become magic, these don’t need to. The soul would become an energy of its own. And Dyne now had this change in his heart.

The three energies that were being created rushed in and merged with his heart. His Force Foundation organ also began to be stimulated, causing it to evolve to the second level.

Logically speaking, this was impossible to do. Strafe made Legaia the first world to make Dyne master Spirit. By mastering Spirit, he would have the chance to learn the ways of the Soul and become a Soul Cultivator. By the time Legaia would have been completed, Dyne would have been a full-fledged cultivator that would be ready to perform the ritual of changing his heart into this heavenly-defying object.

Dyne could create the Spirit Seed to house the magnificent power of the Soul. When he reaches Brigandine, he could quickly assimilate with the powers of the different classes in Brigandine and find his path to his Severing.

But what Dyne had now was not only a Spirit Seed. He had an Elemental Spirit Seed. Something that Strafe thought would only be possible when he reached Breath of Fire!

The Elemental Fire Seed positioned itself in the heart. In a separate space that Strafe had already created for Dyne. The energies began to condense and slowly harden.

Dyne felt a great pain in his chest as this happened. The three Elements were converging to create it.

Dyne gritted his teeth.

A loud howl was heard as one of the Zenoirs became petrified. The remaining survivor escaped. But two of its fingers became solid stone. It began to run away without any hesitation.

Dyne saw it and felt that the Basilisk was gazing at his hiding spot.

“Damn! I can’t catch a break, can I?!” Dyne gritted his teeth and activated the Chicken King.

He ran with a very wobbly form. Parts of his arms and legs were still petrified, and it was constantly creeping in towards the center of his body.

Dyne sped up as fast as he could, not even daring to look back and see the serpent. All that Dyne was thinking was getting out of that place. He also sent a command to Calamity to inform the pair to rescue him immediately.

Several minutes passed, and Dyne could feel that the pressure of the Basilisk was no longer around.

“Did he assume that I would die?” Dyne wondered. Soon, he came across a familiar figure. It was the Zenoir that escaped. Only now, it was fully petrified. The monsters around seemed to avoid the Zenoir. Because of its craggy and rocky form, the monsters assumed that the Zenoir was alive.

“They must have never seen a petrified Zenoir. I should rest here.” Dyne sighed.

He ran to the bottom of the Zenoir as there was a small gap just big enough for Dyne’s small body to fit in.

Dyne rested and took out Grim, who began to continue channeling the fire energy within him.

While Dyne was running, he kept the petrification at bay through the strange power forming in his heart. It continued to absorb and delay the effects of petrification.

“Damn it, Strafe! That was just too strong! Was that as strong as Zeto?”

“Zeto? No way. It’s still weak. You’ve delayed its growth by killing many of its offspring and minions. Right now, it should be as strong as Caruban. But considering, Caruban can fly, then that Stone Serpent is weaker.” Strafe laughed.

“Weaker? What kind of a messed up world is this?!” Dyne cursed.

“One that is geared to make you grow stronger. Don’t worry. The reason why you are weak is that you don’t have a Ra-Seru. Once you have that, it will give you a significant boost! Besides, you’re such a cheat already! I can’t believe you are already on the process of forming your elemental seed! And by all that’s holy, I now understand why the Sovereign of your world sent you! You just happen to have a miraculous constitution that explains all the miracles you’ve made so far!”

“What miracles?”

“That thing in your heart! That’s an Elemental Spirit Seed! And a Brimstone Element! I’ve never seen one! Even those who had a Brimstone Elemental affinity created Holy or Earth! I’ve never seen one successfully create Brimstone!”

“What?” Dyne was confused.

“Just concentrate on absorbing those three energies. I’ll help you. It may cost a week of my life, but it will be worth it!” Strafe smiled.

Suddenly, a force of great holiness erupted within Dyne.

“Quickly! Use the Imaginarium Arts!” Strafe instructed.

“Let’s begin setting the foundation for a Heart of Brimstone!”

Two more chapters left. Dyne will be developing a foundational power that makes him ahead of most cultivators. And because of this, it changes the way of his cultivation. In short, whatever plans Strafe had for Dyne in Legaia has practically been achieved and is in fact, stronger than what Strafe planned.

My wife is already starting to feel contraction pains. Baby might be out soon. So just in case I can't post any chapters in the next days... If I can't post it tomorrow and Saturday, I'll post it once I have the time.
