I can't believe writing a noble character is so troublesome and fussy. There's a lot to think about them to make sure he or she looks believable. I'm sure there are a lot of irregularities that you will find in this chapter and the next chapters. If you are willing to help me correct it, don't hesitate to leave it in the comments, ok? Thank you in advance.

Beastkin and Unknown descended from the foot of the mountain and went into the forest near the main road. They tried to approach the carriage cautiously.

At first, they were worried that their faces would be known by the carriage escort team.

Just giving the opportunity to see their faces to them, they didn't want to, let alone the event of visiting the carriage. That intention didn't surface at all in the beginning when the two of them were on the mountain cliff before.

But they had found some suspicious people in the woods not too far from where the carriage was.

The two of them don't have to go to great lengths to find out who these groups are and what are they doing.

Knowing that their fear of being suspected of being criminals immediately disappeared because there’s a group who willingly and eagerly took their place to be bad people.

So they have nothing to worry about with that carriage’s people anymore.

In fact, they both intend to give them a hand to take care of that rotter.

…..

"Hey!"

… But, unexpectedly, they were suddenly approached by someone from behind them.

***

“…!!” (Unknown)

“…..!!!” (Beastkins)

Both of them immediately jumped forward and while they were in the air, they also tried to turn their bodies so that they no longer had their unguarded backs to someone who was currently behind them. When their feet hit the ground, the two of them already have pulled out their weapons and were ready to attack the person who startled them.

But the two immediately recognized who was responsible for surprising them.

"Oh, it's you Elf. You scared me." (Unknown)

Beastkin nodded in agreement.

The two of them then lowered their weapons.

“…Wait. Where is Princess, Elf?” Unknown asked, realizing that one of his other friends was missing and was not with Elf. He then looked right and left, looking for him. Realized there was no sign of him. Unknown returned his gaze to Elf who was his gaze looking down to the ground, and placing his hands on each of his knees.

He really exhausted.

"Don't tell me you two are in trouble." (Unknown)

“ *Pant, pant … Unfortunately, yeah.” (Elf)

"What? What did those three ding-dongs do to you to make you two split up like this?" (Unknown)

“Not them *pant, pant…” (Elf)

"So?" (Unknown )

“It’s Fem. *Pant, pant … Fem is causing trouble again.” (Elf)

“…” (Unknown)

“…” (Beastkin)

“… What is he doing this time?” Asked Unknown, facepalmed.

"He's offending some noble girl." (Elf)

"So … Princess is now handling the problem right now?" (Unknown)

"Yeah ..." Elf replied, powerless.

" *Sigh … “ I then turned towards Beastkin. “Beastkin. You know my temper, right?

Beastin nodded.

He then returned his gaze back to Elf.

“Elf. You know my temper too.”

Elf also nodded.

He then takes a heavy deep breath … “Actually I want to leave this party. Not entirely because of Fem, but because I feel, we all can't develop properly because everyone is always there to keep us behind when we make a mistake. You know the thing that made people become more successful is because: 1. He has to rely on himself. 2. Don't let your comfort zone hold you back. 3. Make self-care a priority … Bla-bla-bla.”

 “…” (Elf)

“…” (Beastkin)

‘Here' we go again ... Unknown’ lambasting. How long have we not heard this out of his mouth? Yet until now, he had never left this party. He's still here with us.’ (Elf)

“… So I ask for all of your consent, blessing, etc. in case I suddenly disappear from this party. You know the reason.” Continued him.

*Sigh … At any rate. Let's just pray Princess can do the task well. We continue our primary mission. Beastkin and I have now have found the bandits, and they're currently preparing to ambushed a some carriage who passing down on this road. Come quickly follow us, Elf” (Unknown)

“But, Unknown. How about Princess? *Sigh … Alright.” (Elf)

Elf then followed the two of them.

“Beastkin. Do you want to come with me. I want to go to Trsat. You know what Trsat Town from the story I told you just now, right? I think you'll most likely find what you want there." (Unknown)

“ *nodding.” (Beastkin)

"What exactly are you two talking about?" Asked Elf, unable to understand what they just said.

They resumed their first mission.

The hubbub happens again at Ami's inn.

Last night there’s a commotion at Ami’s Inn and when people who live nearby visited it, want to know what caused the racket.

When they arrived, they were shocked because the place was so crowded with many town guards in and outs.

It was said the ruckus was caused by a young adventurer.

And this time, it was said the one responsible for causing this noisy disturbance again, was still the same person.

That young adventure.

Ami's The Half-Elf Inn is famous for being a comfortable place to stay.

The inn is one of the best inns in the Rijeka Town because of their price, satisfying service thanks to their employees who are very disciplined and understand what guests want, and the guests who stay are also cooperative and don't cause unnecessary problems with the inn because their background is filtered directly by the proprietress of Ami's Inn herself before they want to stay at her place. It makes many potential guests who want to stay at an inn in the town, choose to stay at Ami's Inn for that case.

But for some reason, in this past day, two major events have occurred at Ami's Inn at once in just one day.

The people who live near the inn wondering why did this happen.

Is it because of the change in innkeeper from the old to the young generation that the quality of Ami's Inn has decreased or is there another problem which they don't know?

All of them, especially other inn rivals, try to keep their ears open, waiting for the latest information regarding this matter. They do this because this problem can affect their daily life. Can it be good news or bad news in the future?

For example, for people who sell in the market, who often make transactions with Ami's worker, whether it's a matter of spices, meat, ale, milk, and other kitchen stocks or food ingredients. They could lose their profit if Ami's Inn is in trouble, especially if Ami's Inn goes out of business.

Some of them also rely on the existence of Ami's Inn as their main source of income because not many of them have their own shop or stall in the market and only do consignment business-like with Ami’s Inn. Not to mention Ami's workers who are in danger of losing their jobs and the other problems that will arise if Ami's Inn goes out of business.

Unlike them, the other Ami’s Inn rivals. They can take the benefit if Ami’s really has problems, especially if Ami's Inn goes out of business. They can get regular Ami's Inn guests.

New guests, new connections. Meaning they can get new sources of income.

They can get a chance to make more money just with that.

They all waited and hoped for the news they each wanted to hear.

All of them became impromptu spies.

While Princess, who had just arrived and found that there was a crowd in front of Ami's inn, he rushed over to the crowd. Princess' eyes were looking here and there, trying to find where Fem was when he entered the crowd.

And it didn't take long for him to find that friend who was currently being dragged out from Ami's Inn by two men who wore armor and were quite well-armed.

That’s him…

… And that two must be the noble girl private bodyguard.

And lastly, that must be the noble girl herself …

There’s a girl who stood and watch this crowd scene confidently in the middle of the scene.

Her outfit, her hairstyle, and the many bodyguards around her made Princess believe that she was the noble girl in question. It's unlikely that Princess guessed wrong with the evidence he just found.

Yeah.

Maybe her.

Alright …

 “M’lady, please wait!”
