3rd' POV

“They might be in danger!?” Exclaimed the man in front of him whose name was Casey.

Hearing that from other people, Princess, who was also thinking about this, was even more depressed.

He had a dilemma.

One of his friends is being arrested by some noble daughter while the rest of his friends have not returned from their mission since this afternoon they split up to investigate that three ding-dongs.

He couldn't just go out of town and go look for them, they were quite far away and by the time he got there, it might already be dark.

And don't forget that the place where he will go is a dirt road with forests on both sides of the road.

The night is the most dangerous time when one is in the forest. He couldn't just go haphazardly there now.

Wandering himself there, in the forest alone, is stupidly move.

Anything can happen there.

He also could not ask for help from the Rijeka Town authorities to mobilize all their personnel to find his friends. They are the protector of this town. They are not they private guards who can be ordered around as they pleases.

Who are they here anyway? What’s their status?

They are just ordinary people.

Princess' status as a noble had no value here.

This wasn't the territory he and his friends were from.

He couldn't do this, he couldn't do that, Princess feels helpless.

He was disappointed in himself because when faced with a problem like this, he had already lost his way out.

Did they get back into town late because of the bandits?

He knew that on this reconnaissance mission, there was a hidden message that they too had to take care of the bandits. However, if that was the only factor that made them get delayed, they wouldn't be late like this.

This is not their quality.

There must be another problem.

"Argh! …” Princess feels more troubled.

While Princess is depressed, the man standing in front of Princess, Casey, is still thinking about why Unknown dared to take the mission.

That night, he remembered Unknown discussing this mission with him. He knew this task was dangerous but he felt bad reminding the matter to Unknown because Unknown had just helped him gain connections to many people.

And that night he too was under the influence of alcohol. He couldn't really think straight and only prioritized so that the Unknown wouldn't feel offended for that reason.

He only directed Unknown to first ask Ega’s permission to take over his mission, because, in retrospect, that was the only reasonable solution he could think of to prevent Unknown and his party from doing anything reckless.

And now, it turned out to be the only solution Casey could come up with when he used his head again after he wasn't under the influence of alcohol anymore.

… He had not expected Unknown to actually undertake that mission. He thought Ega would reject him, but did that guy really allow Unknown and his friends, who are still young, to carry out dangerous missions like scouting those bandits?

On the surface, the mission was just a scouting mission.

However, the Lord of the town, who gave Ega and his party the mission originally, also hoped that Ega and his party would also clean up the bandits so that they would not disturb the travelers and other road users who commute from the Rijeka Town.

Casey understood that hidden message because he and his own party had experienced such cases several times, not to mention other adventures that Casey and his friends knew.

After all, even if Ega refuses Unknown's proposal, there is a possibility that Unknown will ignore it and continue to carry out the mission.

Yes, that's right. That possibility definitely exists.

"So, what do you want to do now? You can't sleep outside. You'll get sick. I'll help you find another inn. C-mon." (Casey)

“I don't wanna cheap inn.” Princess answered, lacking energy and enthusiasm.

“Relax, I know a good inn that-” (Casey)

Princess sighed and replied, still lacking with enthusiasm. "We short on cash ..."

"Heh! Take it easy. There are many cheap accommodations in Rijeka. Although not as cheap and as good as Ami, the quality of the service is still pretty good, really. C'mon."

"Didn't you hear him, Casey? He said he broke. He broke." Remind one of his party members.

“Hehe, then just use that.” (Casey)

"Huh?"

"Huh?"

Princess, including the members of Casey's own party, were both confused by what Casey had just said.

"Hey, bro. You want to go to that places all night, don't you?” Casey asked, turning his gaze to his party members behind him who were currently the only person who didn't pay attention to the conversation Casey and his group had with Princess.

He was seen several times stealing glances at a building in the distance which is now starting to be visited by many perverted-looking visitors.

He looked like he couldn't take it anymore… Casey muttered, grinning.

"Huh? Oh, y-yeah. Kinda. Hehe.” His friend replied with a slightly embarrassed expression because he was caught red-handed.

“You hear that, kid? Then follow me." Casey returned his gaze to Princess and asked her to follow him.
