Hey Everyone, Overload Here.
I spent all last week trying to find the motivation to finish the next chapter for this story. A mixture of bad reviews, insensitive or even hostile personal messages, and general writer's block kept me from succeeding. I still have much I want to tell in this story, but I need to take a break from it because I realized I wasn't having fun writing it anymore. Since I write FOR fun and not for monetary compensation, not having fun with what I write defeats the whole purpose. I really don't want to come to hate or half-ass this story, as you all deserve more than that, so I have decided to take a break instead.
Finn Cambridge...Pokemon Master? will be going on hiatus for a couple of months so that I can refresh my love for the story and characters as well as to brainstorm new ideas. When I am feeling ready for it again, we will continue on Finn and Lara's journey.
I want to take a second to thank each and every one of my faithful readers. The ones who heart, review, or just enjoy the story in silence. I really appreciate you and your support. This has been a crazy ride, and it is far from over. I promise you that I will return to this story after I feel confident in it again.
Just to make sure I am not off the mark, I will be leaving a poll below. It will simply ask if you are enjoying the story and want it to continue, or if you think I should move this to an ending instead of continuing with it. I write for fun and for myself, but I want to make sure I am writing something that many will enjoy as well.

You aren't the first author to be disheartened by maliciousness, but I would seriously encourage you to keep this going and ignore the comments from those who have nothing better to do than to spit on your work when they could obviously do no better.
I appreciate that! As long as people want me to, I will continue to write this story. I just need some time to get motivated again and to plan out a bit more.

Damn, I don't really know what to say. This is one of my favorite novels, it reignited my love for pokemon and was really well written, there are a lot of people who for numerous reasons (most of which just suck) leave terrible reviews and personal messages (my god I can't even imagine what kind of person sends hostile messages to authors of books they don't like, that's just insane). I can promise you I'll be waiting for you to continue writing this book even if it takes awhile, it really means a lot to me.
Take the time to reflect and remember to have fun with it. I wanna see it continue though! I still haven't seen the ghost type yet!
I can't speak for others, but I can say that I enjoy this story very much and would love for it to be continued.

I can assure you that your stories are a blast to read.
The story progression is awesome and the MCs and heroines are actually fun and likable.
Infinity better than what I've read in countless novels and mangas (Especially the goddamn JP harem MCs).
Found the reviews, reported them for sprouting bullsh*t and slander.
I love this novel and I'm sorry to see it go on hiatus. I've re-read it multiple times and it never gets stale. I still laugh at funny parts and cry at sad parts no matter how many go throughs I do.
I'll be here to read more whenever you feel like writing more. Thank you for the high quality entertainment!
