Time flew by like the stars as we soon arrived back at the city after submitting our completion proof which involved a few scales of the Justra Cobra and some skin. It was already late at night, around mid-night yet the city was still blooming with people.

“Do you want to go to the market first?” Mana inquired as she carried Flora who was still fast asleep but this time, she was no longer biting onto Mana’s shoulders which was a plus for her since she endured an entire hour of being bitten.

“Well, we still have to buy roasted boar. Why not?” I said while looking at Flora with a wry smile, the last time we actually experienced a tantrum from her was when we didn’t buy her kebab during one of our trips which ended up with her going on a bite streak.

She bites really hard when angry, almost like being stung by a bee or being bitten by a crocodile. It is the most painful thing I have ever experienced in this world, though she also sometimes bites on random occasions such as when she is asleep, but her teeth are super soft at those times.

“Hmm, I could make some desserts if you would like. I can make pie or some caramel pudding since those are the only ones I know,” Kate responded as she looked at Kaleen… or Leisha who was still out of this world.

“I… I can make sandwiches…” Kaleen said as she looked towards me for a second, or so I think but it’s hard to clarify since it could just be my hallucination.

“Okay then, Ayumi and Kaleen will buy an already sliced boar from the local butchery since I don’t think we can roast one today then after purchasing the sliced boar, the two will head to the vegetable marketplace and buy some vegetables while Kate and I could head to the market for desserts and buy the ingredients they need, is that fine?” Mana said before Kaleen… or Leisha shook for a second, nodding hesitatingly as the others nodded as well.

“Where should we meet?” I asked before she tilted her head.

“How about we meet up at our place instead, to make things faster,” she said before the rest of us agreed, listing the ingredients we need to buy for one another before separating as Kaleen and I started walking towards the local butchery with her walking a little bit behind me.

After being a bit annoyed by her walking behind, I stopped and looked at her as she stopped abruptly with a surprised look before I asked, “Why are you walking behind me?”

“Errr… I don’t know...” she replied as I felt like facepalming. It seems like the curse of this system the Goddess built is triggering, the curse in which all the charm I earned from our lovey-dovey times with Mana would strike onto someone like an arrow.

“How about walking beside me? I won’t bite, you know,” I said with a wry smile as she looked a little bit hesitant before nodding shyly. It was hard to imagine that someone like her who once carried an elegant look could have this shy of a side.

After nodding, the two of us soon continued walking but this time she was walking beside me which made it a lot better since I don’t really like someone else that I don’t know suddenly approaching my side and bumping into me because it would really trigger this curse.

“Err… where is the butchery?” she asked as I pointed at the building of concrete that was painted in white. It had the painting of a boar, a rabbit, and even an orc being chopped into pieces which was kinda disgusting but for some reason, it seems to be the norm in this world.

Though I don’t remember setting such as a norm on Solis, but I guess this world works super differently; speaking of Solis, I have understood a lot more about how the terminal of this world work. I could do almost everything like the creator of this world but only when my Yuri Experience or something is high enough.

For example, activating skills is useable from the start but in exchange, the speed is a little bit slower and it takes up a lot of mana though the speed could increase with every ten levels. You could also use skills that you have not mastered but it is not recommended… speaking from experience after blowing myself up once.

The reason why I don’t recommend it is because you lack control of the skill. In the first place, you master the spell to be able to control it which is why using skills that you have not mastered at all is suicidal since it could explode on you.

After a short while of walking, we soon arrived at the local butchery as I pushed open the wooden door while shouting, “Excuse us!” before a man carrying a large butcher knife, cutting down on some boar came to sight.

“Little laddie! What do you want to buy this time?” the man asked as he put down the butcher knife while approaching us as I looked at the shelf that was filled with specimens of what they sell.

“I’d like to buy some of your higher quality boar meat if possible, still have them?” I said before he nodded as he walked towards one of the containers that were filled with ice and grabbing a large chunk of meat from the container, placing it on a clean table.

“It’ll be a single gold coin as always. Would you like it to be sliced in pieces ahead of time?” the man asked as I took out a single gold coin from my pouch, nodding as I handed him the gold coin before he grabbed his butcher knife and started slicing the boar meat into tiny pieces.

THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD!

After awhile of slicing, the man soon placed the knife back onto its original place before taking out a paper bag and throwing the sliced meat there before covering it up with three more paper bags as he handed it to me.

“Thanks as always!” I said before the man nodded as we soon left the butchery, turning my attention towards Kaleen who was still acting strange.

“Are you alright?” I questioned before she nodded with a blushing face as her hand bumped into mine before she backed away almost like she was struck with electricity. It was like she wanted to hold hands for some reason.

“Want?” I offered my hand as she looked at it for a bit before shaking her head as her face turned even pinker. I am not dense enough to not understand what that meant but I feel reluctant since I love Mana and am loyal to her but… yeah. It’s hard especially when there’s this stupid Goddess who always makes crappy plots.

Taking a deep breath, I took her right hand and dragged her as I said, “You might get lost on the vegetable marketplace, it’s better if we hold hands for the meantime…” making an excuse as she nodded a bit.

It does feel a bit embarrassing… but there is nothing I could do since the reasoning is also legitimate, despite being late at night, the vegetable marketplace remains to be the busiest in the city since vegetables are cheaper and most of the populace here prefers to buy cheaper stuff.

After a short while, the two of us soon reached the vegetable marketplace that was blooming with people. Every inch and nook, one to four individuals carried some sort of ingredients like cabbages, etc.

“What ingredients did we need to buy again?” I asked while holding her hand tight as we entered inside the marketplace that was as noisy as a bomb.

“Errr… potatoes, cabbage,” she answered as I nodded before looking around as a vendor that sold both potatoes and cabbages at the same time came to sight, without hesitation, the two of us soon started making our way towards the vendor, purchasing eight potatoes and two cabbages before leaving.

It was super busy, even the vendors don’t have time to talk which was why our purchase came quick as we only needed to hand them the exact number of coins and they pack them up without many talks.

“Let’s head back now,” I said before she nodded as we started walking out of the crowd before suddenly, a group of children bumped the two of us just before we reached the area where there were little people.

Kaleen or Leisha was the one that was struck the most by the bump, falling towards my direction as her forehead struck mine before the two of us were once more on the ground with our lips attached to one another. I was able to smell the sweet scent on her once more, stare at her eyes that were magnificent to look at despite being filled with shock.

Her lips tasted like meat and vegetables, her hair that touched my cheeks were silky. Her tongue was delicate… it had this softness that made you want to bite it.

“Mhmm…” she moaned upon unconsciously biting on her tongue, which quickly snapped me back to reality as a cough came from behind her before I looked at the origin before Mana stood there with a bright innocent smile on her face along with Kate who had a blushing expression on her face.

“Ehem…” Mana said, clapping her hands as I cried inside. I am totally dead, no lives left… see you all in heaven! You stupid god damn goddess, just you wait…!
