Alfi's character jumped down the hole after Aoko, wielding an iron sword in hand. "I'm coming to save you, Aoko-chan!"

Hana sighed and then switched her character's item to an iron sword as well. "This is a bad idea... but I guess it's more fun this way." She smiled and then jumped into the hole.

Darkness. But then there was a faint bit of light. Rivers of lava running down off in the distance, emitting faint light. And then the darkness lit up as Alfi placed some glowstone blocks around. And as she did...

"Oh god, what the hell is that?!" Aoko's character ran around in a blind panic, followed by a tall and slender dark figure holding a block of dirt. "Stay away from me!"

[slipperysnake] So Aoko doesn't like tall dark strangers, huh?
[openottor] Darn!
[nightowl] No IRL present delivery. Got it.

Hana's character landed into a small puddle of water with a splash. After that, she started to move towards Aoko's character. But when Hana saw what was going on, she laughed. "Aneue! Stop running! He's harmless!"

Aoko's eyes flicked towards Hana, but she never stopped moving. "I don't believe you! A-And it's fine! I'm faster than it, see-"

*Wassup?*

"@#%@#%$@!" Aoko let out a strangled sound and fell out of her chair.

Alfi giggled. "Aoko-chan..."

[slyfox] Oh yeah. Queen is going to *love* horror games.

Hana's eyes flashed and she smiled. "Ooh. In that case, I've got a fun game for us to play together, Aneue."

Aoko turned to look at Hana. "Yeah? What is it, Sis?"

"You see, the fifth game of Neighboring Malice is multiplayer. We get guns and weapons to kill bad guys, so I think it's right up your alley!"

Aoko frowned. "Why do I feel like-"

A distorted and strangled scream. The moment that started, the peaceful Endyman that had been following Aoko's character opened its mouth and sprinted towards her.

"@#$@#%!" Aoko let out a strangled scream as well and started running. "What did I do?! It was fine! We were cool!"

[uglyeel] Quick! Stare at it and assert dominance!
[StraightGarbage] Hey man, you aren't supposed to get upset if Queen rejects your tribute!

Hana sighed and moved her character towards the lava. As she did, she said, "Could you take care of it, Onee-chan? I'll work on getting some more light in here."

"Got it, Hana!" Alfi smiled and said, "Just stay still, Aoko-chan! If you stare it in the eyes, it won't move! Don't show fear, they can sense that!"

"I-I'm not scared! I'm just being cautious!"

[narratingnarwhal] *And so Aoko lied as easily as she breathed.*

Hana glanced at the chat and said, "I don't think me asserting dominance is going to help when Aneue's running around like that... Anyway, back to work. I don't have torches, but if I dig the lava out and place blocks like this..." Hana switched her character POV to third person and started digging trenches to divert the lava flow.

In the background, Aoko's character kept running around, chased by both the Endyman and Alfi's character.

"Aoko-chan! Stop running!"

"I don't believe you! You and Hana are conspiring to kill me off so you can have fun! I won't have it!"

Hana paused and looked back at Aoko. "Just what kind of person do you think I am, Aneue?"

"A terrifying girl who'll throw her big sister to the wolves for views!"

Hana huffed. "I am not like that! Besides, even if I did throw Aneue to the wolves for views, she'd be perfectly fine. Aneue's really tough, you know?"

Alfi frowned and said, "And I'm trying to help! But it's hard when you keep moving the Endyman around... Hah!" She swung her sword, hitting the Endyman just as it teleported.

Aoko's eyes grew wide and her character kept running around in circles. "You hit it! Why is it still after me?!"

"I-I don't know?" Alfi tilted her head. "Don't mobs target the people who attacked it?"

[hornysnake] Looks like Queen's going to get keeled over like she wanted. :eyebrow wiggle:

Hana ignored the chaos ensuing behind her and hummed. "I mine all day, I mine all night~"

Stone cracked and popped out of the ground as Hana's character swung her pickaxe. A cozy and peaceful sight... broken up by Aoko screaming and her character running around in the background like an old cartoon chase sequence.

But eventually, Aoko's character was backed into a corner.

[jumpingjackal] Looks like this is it.
[killerkite] Stare at it! Don't let it out of your sights!
[bigbison] Fight to the bitter end!

Aoko slowly turned to look at the Endyman. Seeing it run towards her, she screamed and closed her eyes.

And then the Endyman froze.

Alfi sighed and walked her character over. She turned to look at Aoko and said, "See? If you don't show fear, they won't attack you!"

[fillerfish] Not quite how it works, but close enough!
[poppinpuffin] Now to get the loot!
[Alfis_Knight] Smite the demon, Alfi-sama!

Hana glanced at the chat and said, "Huh. Onee-chan's fans are really big isekai otakus, aren't they?"

[Alfis_Knight] I-Isekai otaku?

[Alfis_CoffeeCup] If it means I get isekai'd with Alfi, then yes! I am!

Aoko glared and then made her character run up to the Endyman. "You dumbass! What, you get off scaring people like that! $%#% off!"

Alfi blinked and said, "W-Wait, Aoko-chan! It's not-"

Aoko's character punched the Endyman.

It roared and teleported behind Aoko, smacking her back.

Aoko let out a girly scream and ran behind Alfi. "Save me!"

Alfi smiled. "Leave it to me, Aoko-chan!"

The Endyman roared again and ran forward, swinging its block while only having eyes for Aoko.

[Alfis_Knight] Kill it!
[Hanas_Oniichan] Um, shouldn't you be watching them, Hana?
[yummytuna] *Let's go! Test your might!*
[icyscorpion] *Mortal combat!*

"Yosh!" Alfi's character jumped and swung her sword at the Endyman's head.

It growled and then flashed red, moving back a few paces.

Alfi waited and then jumped again to attack. "Hah!"

Aoko pumped her fist in the air and said, "Go Alfi! Take that black bastard out!"

[darkdoggo] *O-Oi!*
[concernedcow] *Oh no. The clippers...*

Another red flash. Alfi's character swung her sword one more time, and then the Endyman tipped over, dissolving in a puff of white smoke. And in its place, there was a floating dark green orb, glowing green lights, and a block of dirt.

Alfi smiled and did a victory sign with her fingers. "I did it!"

"Nice!" Aoko turned and leaned over to hold out her hand to Alfi.

Alfi blinked and then gave her a hi-five. "Yeah!"

[fluffyfox] Wait, they're sitting next to each other?!
[StraightGarbage] Why the hell are you scared if you're literally in the middle of those two, Queen!?
[ranbunctiousrabbit] So the tough girl is the scaredy cat while the sweet one has nerves of steel.

Hana leaned back and stretched. "There we go! All done!"

A ring of lava encompassing the entire cavern except for a single wall. Because of it, the previously dark space was now glowing with soft orange light and the golden illumination from the few glowstone blocks Alfi had placed.

Hana smiled and then changed the POV back to first person. After that, she looked up at the hole they came from. "Mm... I don't think we're heading back up any time soon though."

Aoko's character walked into view. When she did, Aoko bowed her head. "I'm sorry, Sis."

Alfi's character walked over as well, and then she said, "Don't worry, Aoko-chan! We know you're clumsy, so Hana and I made sure we were prepared!"

Hana laughed. "That's true. I farmed enough resources for us to be safe for a while... And if all else fails, I guess we could just die."

Alfi's eyes widened and she quickly shook her head. "No! I won't let that happen! I'll die first!"

Aoko rolled her eyes. "No need to be so dramatic about it, Alfi."

Hana gave Aoko a blank stare.

Aoko coughed and said, "Anyway, if anyone's going to die here, it might as well be me, right?"

Alfi nodded. "That's true. Especially since you're Hana's real older sister... But Aoko-chan. Won't you just keep dying then if you respawn by yourself?"

Aoko blushed. "I am not that bad! And I know how to fight things now!" Her character threw a punch. "See?"

Hana let out a wry smile.

[lewddood] *I've read enough h*entai to know how that's going to end...*
[quicksquirrel] Wait. Aoko is Hana's *real* older sister? So the Aneue thing isn't a character setting?

Hana shook her head. "Anyway, we should just start mining." She walked over to the wall not surrounded by lava and said, "We were planning to look for diamonds anyway, and I think we're deep enough. What was the button to check again... F3, right?"

An iron ore vein popped up. Hana moved her character to mine that out and said, "He actually wanted to give me a desktop, but Mister John said a laptop would be more convenient for me since I go back and forth a lot, so he gave me this."

[jumpingjackal] Suddenly the HD graphics makes sense...
[willfulwombat] Holy crap. How much money does John have?
[hiddenhog] Is Myth Inc. a tech company? It's gotta be, right?

Hana glanced at the chat again and shook her head. "You guys are weird... It's just a computer."

Alfi's character appeared on screen and then she started mining next to Hana's character, humming a happy tune as she did. But the moment she broke a block, she paused. "Ah. These aren't diamonds..."

"Hm?" Hana turned to look.

Alfi kept digging, and when she did she revealed a 3x3 spread of emerald ore.

[StraightGarbage] ...
[Alfis_Knight] Sasuga.
[loserlizard] Divine luck at work again.

Hana opened her mouth to say something.

And then Aoko cursed and said, "Gah! What the hell?! I'm on fire! Stop it! Stop!"

Hana turned her character back to see Aoko's character running around while on fire. Hana sighed and covered her face. "Of course you'll be on fire if you touch lava, Aneue."

"Why is there lava randomly around?!"

"...Because we're deep underground?"

"#$@$!" Aoko let out a strangled gasp and her character flailed around for a bit more. But then the fire ran out. She let out a sigh and walked over to join Hana and Alfi.

Hana shook her head and went back to mining.

During that brief exchange, Alfi had finished mining the emerald and turned around to do more mining. And then, when she broke a stone block, a diamond ore block appeared.

Alfi paused. "Ah." She tilted her head and said, "I thought diamonds were hard to find..." She mined out the surrounding area and revealed two full veins of diamonds

[StraightGarbage] Yes! Burn your luck on the ores!
[GoldenOrca] Go Alfi-chan! Find more diamonds! Find all the diamonds!
[FailureFox] Yeah! Take Queen out on that date!

Aoko glanced at the chat and blushed. "It's not a date, dammit!"

Alfi laughed and started mining the diamond with her iron pickaxe. "It's fine. Even if I win the bet, I'll still treat Aoko-chan out. I've been meaning to spend time with her anyway... And since everyone's supporting me so much, I can finally afford to do it!"

Hana moved her character over to help Alfi mine, and then she frowned. Looking at Alfi, she said, "I want to go eat out too, Onee-chan."

Alfi shook her head. "I'm sorry, Hana... But we can all hang out after the concert! Let's throw a big party and invite everyone to have fun!"

Hana's eyes lit up and she said, "Ooh! Can we have a karaoke party? And can you invite Eldest Sister to come sing with us?"

Aoko moved over to mine next to Alfi and Hana. As she did, she frowned and said, "I don't know about you guys, but I think I'm going to be completely drained after the concert. Especially with singing. Are you sure a karaoke party is a good idea?"

Alfi nodded. "That's true... Then how about an ice cream party? M- My younger sister mentioned something about that the other day. And I haven't had the chance to try much ice cream yet, so we could buy a lot of different flavors and share!"

Hana gasped. "That sounds amazing! And we can get sprinkles and syrup and whipped cream too! Ooh, and strawberries!"

Aoko blushed.

Aoko's blush turned in even darker shade of red and she said, "I-It's nothing! And ice cream sounds great." She frowned. "God knows we've definitely burned off enough calories practicing to make up for it."

Hana mined some iron and nodded. "Oh yeah." She frowned and said, "I still can't believe how Mister John danced like that with a straight face."

Alfi giggled. "You shouldn't be surprised. Papa's done a lot of odd things when he was younger."

Aoko raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Tell me more."

Aoko laughed and kept mining. "Yes. I can't wait for-"

A pair of blocks plopped to the ground in front of Aoko. And the moment they did, there was a flash of white. A skeleton. But not just one, a dozen of them, all aiming their bows at Aoko.

"A-Aoko-chan!"

Aoko screamed and frantically started placing blocks down. She managed to get one down, but then her character became a pincushion.

"I'm dying! I'm dying! Oh god!"

Aoko panicked and made her character run away.

Alfi quickly filled up the hole and said, "Eat something, Aoko-chan!"

"Why the hell do I need to eat?! I need bandages! No, you said you had health potions, right? Give me some!"

Hana let out a deep sigh. "Just calm down, Aneue. And I gave you bread earlier, right? Press the right button on the mouse while holding it to eat. That should fill up your hearts eventually."

Aoko frowned and did as Hana said. As Aoko's character started eating the bread, Aoko's frown deepened and she said, "I'm definitely filling up my heart by eating all these carbs alright..."

Hana glanced at the chat and laughed. "Don't worry. Aneue's working on an exercise program to stream for you guys. When she does, you'll be in shape in no time!"

Aoko nodded. "That's right." She grinned and pointed at the screen. "I'm going to whip you pieces of trash into shape, whether you like it or not!"

Hana blushed and then lightly punched Aoko. "Aneue! Phrasing!"

"Phrasing?" Aoko blinked. "What phrasing?"

"...Hah." Hana shook her head. "Anyway, let's-"

"I did it!" Alfi walked back, holding a glowing book in her hand. "I killed the skeletons and lit up the dungeon! And look, I found some enchanted books we can use!"

"Awesome!" Hana gave Alfi a thumbs up. And then she glanced at the side and frowned. "...But we're running out of time, so I don't think we can use them today."

"Aw..."

Hana hummed and said, "We should probably mine our way back up so that we can build a base." She looked at the screen and said, "It'll be a bit boring... but you guys don't mind, right?"

Alfi glanced at the chat and giggled.

Aoko groaned.

Hana blinked and said, "What?"
