Bonar lay in his bed, trying not to move. He afraid to wake Daphne up.

They left the inn and the town, each holding several sticks of barbecued meat. 

She got onto a wolf and travelled next to Bonar as they ran at a fast pace towards the north. 

While running, Daphne closed her eyes and made a small smile as she opened her eyes again.

They travelled for half a day before arriving at a large city that was in the shadows of the many mountains.

They approached the gate and was stopped by the city guard

"State your name and business" he asked

"You don't know the dungeon city of Desivir?" the guard asked.

Bonar paid him and entered with Daphne. 

"Why are we here? We could ride further and get to the destination faster. There is no need to stop here" Daphne said

"Oh. I just found out that this city is Desivir. One of my first friends came here for her S Rank examination. I want to see if I can meet her or not" Bonar said

Daphne frowned, not happy that Bonar was looking for another woman, but she silently followed him. 

He entered the mercenary guild and walked to the counter. 

"Can I help you?" a pretty woman said behind the counter.

"I was wondering if a friend of mine has passed her S Rank exam here" he asked

"A friend of yours took the S Rank exam? Who?" the woman asked curiously

"She's Ariana from Heritage" Bonar said

The woman took out a piece of paper with only 5 names written on it. 

"No... there is no one by the name of Ariana on the list. When did she take it?" she asked

"I believe within the last 2 to 3 years" he answered. 

"Ah... yes.. Ariana from Heritage..." the receptionist nodded but then she stopped. 

"What is it?" Bonar asked

"I... I'm afraid to tell you... she perished during her exam" she answered
