After a while, I was greeted by a good looking young man. He was kind and courteous since he offered me some food. I gladly accepted since I hadn't eaten for a week.

The man's name was Yuki.

Yuki is cool and handsome and a little bit feminine. His silver hair and eyes made others feel close to him, especially when he smiled. This must be a fox's charm. Honestly, I can't tell the difference between the ears of dogs, wolves, or foxes. I just felt that with his unique charisma, he should be from the fox family, right?

He also has this elegance whenever he moved like he's a noble. I should know because I've met real ones. When our eyes met, I saw amusement in his eyes, but I hurriedly broke contact, embarrassed. Unfortunately, I met pervy dog's eyes. I once again averted my eyes in a huff.

Then I heard a growl.

I looked at the person who made the sound, squinting my eyes at him. I think pervy dog named himself Fin.

He had spiky hair and wore a kimono, wide open at the front. Unconsciously, my eyes traveled downwards. Wow, is that a six pack? And it looked really, really hard. Still, Tier's had two more, and he looked really sexy. At least, that's what Mom told me. I've never really seen it, though.

Hnn, now that I think about it, his face isn't bad at all. He's masculine enough, but those ears really made me think he's cosplaying, but I don't feel it's unnatural. I just thought it's a bit childish. Those ears were also dark green, the same as his hair so you really can't tell unless you look carefully.

Then I remembered something, or rather, someone. He looked a lot like that person. Yup, all muscle without a brain. He looked just like that gorilla guy so I can't help but laugh.

Like watching my favorite comedy show, I kept staring. The person being stared at began to feel uncomfortable. 

Fin: [What’cha looking at??]

Like a yakuza, he glared at me. That startled me, but not as much as when my vision suddenly went dark. Someone covered my eyes.

Azure: [Don't look or you’ll turn into an idiot like him]

He said it so seriously as if teaching a kid a valuable, important lesson in life.

Fin: [Huh? What the hell did ya just say?! Wanna go, ya pimp!]

Then they started bickering again but was once again soothed by Yuki.

I cant help but laugh at this comedy routine that had been repeating for quite a while now. After several rounds, we can finally talk seriously.

Yuki: Sorry about a while ago. This guy doesn't know how to knock.

Fin: Tsk! It's their fault! They were noisy and messed up my good sleep.

Yuki called Fin's name with a smile plastered on his face. He gently said, 'apologize,' making Fin scared. He quickly sat up straight as he faced us seriously though his belligerent expression made me want to spank him.

Fin: Alright, alright! I'm sorry for ruining your chance of getting laid.

Hearing this, I got flustered and embarrassed. I was also mad that he put it that way! Ahh, I want to punch this guy, can I? Please, God, just give me a legitimate reason! However, my manners won't let me act. I don't want to bite the hand that fed me. After all, I didn't have any money and yet I freeloaded on them for a week.

Suddenly, Azure moved his hand, and then I saw something incredible. Azure's eyes glowed then his right arm lit up. Blue mana, as if following lightning marks, traveled down his arm before forming into lightning bolts in his palm. The moment he waved is when he released those dangerous looking bolts. Then Fin got electrocuted.

The process only took a second, but thanks to my mana-enhanced senses, I could follow the whole thing from beginning to end.

Amazing...so this guy can also use magic. I look at him questioningly. Why didn't he use it at that time?

However, seeing Fin jumping up and down like that made me smile. Ahh, forget it, I'll ask him next time. Hmph, serves you right. Good job, Azure! Though I wish he'd have made it stronger. You know, like to the point where he'd faint but not die.

Yuki: My oh my, this is a surprise.

Fin: Guh. The hell!

Yuki: Amazing. You're using your ability without incantations. You really found a powerful owner.

Fin: You..*ha*...idiot! Just because...*ha ha*...you can use your magic...on me...*ha*...doesn't mean you can do that to me! You'll pay for this!

Fin started to fight with Azure, but the battle was one-sided.

Yuki: Alright *clap clap* I think that's enough. *smile*

He made that terrifying smile again. Even I was affected even though I'm on the sidelines.

The two stopped and obediently sat.

Wow, Yuki is really amazing. He can order these two around with just his words. He's not a fox, right? He should be a wolf, right? Is he the alpha in this pack?

I seriously thought about how to curry favor with the leader.

Hmm, if I play this right, I might get these two's dirty secrets. Heh, this will be fun.

Then Yuki turned to me and asked about if I'm feeling better now. I gave him a mischievous smile and told him that I'm okay. I've recovered my strength somehow so we talked for a while, ignoring the staring contest between the two omega dogs.

Yuki: That's good. I suppose we'd better get going now since we still have work to do. Just let me know if you need anything.

Both of them stood up.

Fin: *glaring at azure* This isn't over. Don't ya dare close your eyes tonight. *smirk* or else...

Azure glared back then Yuki grabbed Fin's ear and dragged him outside as they bid their goodbyes. Well, Yuki said goodbye while the two continued staring at each other. Gosh, if I didn't know better, I'd have thought you're a pair of lovers reluctant to part.

Finally, we were alone in the room. It became silent and kinda awkward since I just met the man a few hours ago. However, nothing would happen if we don't talk.

Ruby: Yuki has been a nice host to us, isn't it?

Azure: Yeah.

He nodded in approval as he sipped his drink.

Both: ...

Dang it, this silence is awkward. You're a man, right? Be a man and start the conversation!

Ruby: Um...I'm feeling better so can we take a walk outside?

Azure nodded. He looked kinda happy and I can see his tail wagging. *Cough* please don't do that with your deadpan face. Do you want to go outside that badly? Well, since Yuki told me that he never left my side for the whole week, I guess he'd want some fresh air.  At least for me, I wanted a change of scenery. After all, this is a new world.

A smile unconsciously formed on my lips. It's as if my previous confusion and depression were swept away.

Well then, shall we go?
