Wow...

That was all I have to say after reading a story from the new viewer, SealedFate.

I have hoped that his story would be less Chuunibyou than the question.

Boy, I was wrong.

Sigh...

It seemed that my stream is doomed to have more of this type of people from now on.

Somehow, this actually makes his username more irritating...

But I couldn’t simply abandon him just because his name annoys me.

Anyway!

Let’s start by summarizing and decrypting his story as always.

First, It seems that SealedFate is an 11-years-old boy, almost the same age as LittleSnow. He was also from a rather high background family and was attending a prestigious school. He believed himself to be a mage, the same as LittleSnow. Starting this year, he actually started to suddenly have an urge to kill consuming his mind. To counteract that, he sealed his right arm with a black bandage.

Hmm...

This pattern seems to almost repeat itself.

Are you guys knowing actually each other and just messing with me!?

Probably not, ...right?

...Well, at least SealedFate’s story is actually much easier to summarize.

Plain, simple, and really reeks of Chuunibyou vibe.

But if I only end it like that, I would not be me, sage Khun!

While it is indeed easy just to dismiss all his questions as Chuunibyou’s symptoms, that wouldn’t be a good answer enough for him. After all, why else would he write that much back story otherwise?

It was so that the reader could understand his thought and fulfill his wish.

What I have to do is to understand his hidden desire. To understand why he asked this question and know what he wanted as an answer.

The answer always lies in the details!

He wrote those lies to hide his own thought—hiding truth in lie and concealing lie in truth.

Hmm.

After I give a quick read at his story, I notice something.

He seemed to emphasize a lot that his urge can be controlled with his black bandage. Yet there is still time which that urge could still build up.

It is contradictory.

That time was when he was having a homeroom.

This part really sticks out. He probably wants me to notice this very detail.

Hmm...

It is not when because he is in his classroom but when he has his homeroom.

But why?

Is it just because he hates studying?

Why that is certainly a possibility. It would not make much sense that way. After all, unlike LittleSnow, he seemed to be at the top of his class.

The difference between the classroom before and after homeroom started... I can only think of one thing.

It was... the teacher...?

...

Hmm... Wait!

I read his story again. This time everything becomes crystal clear instantly.

His curse started when his teacher started teaching at his school.

It was also that time that his teacher was assigned to his class.

It was also when he was with her, in the homeroom session, that his urge began to increase again.

Not only that, when his teacher tried to help him, his problem became worsening again.

Those are probably too many of them to just be simple coincidences.

This… curse.

There is only one thing it could be, right?

Love.

It is love, isn’t it?

Suddenly, I feel like I could understand SealedFate almost entirely now. At least 90% for sure.

He probably has a crush on his teacher.

It was a pure, innocent type of love. After reaching puberty, he suddenly found himself in a class with a mature and beautiful teacher. It wouldn’t be a surprise—at all—that he had a crush on her. But as a shy boy with a bit of Chuunibyou personality, he probably didn’t know how to convey his love probably.

No, he was probably too embarrassed to even admit it.

That was why he claimed that it was an urge to kill. To him, an urge to kill probably sounds much cooler than love.

He even “killed” his teacher in his dream.

...But to “killed” his teacher in a dream...

So the urge inside him is… No! I couldn’t say that!

After all, this is an all-age stream.

If I say anything wrong, I would get banned immediately.

Anyway!

I could understand this new viewer completely now.

After I have come this far, the rest shouldn’t be too hard. The only hard part is how to properly explain it to him.

16, Month Fall-Quatre, Year Elizabeth 402

06:20, Elizabeth Magic Academy

Wilson looked at the object in his hands hopefully. He then thought back to his experience in the last hour. The past hour of him could only be described as it was absolutely stunning. Sage Khun’s profound wisdom was definitely worthy of being a sage. Especially when he was answering magic questions from one of his followers, LittleSnow.

The only strange thing was that LittleSnow seemed to be the only one that was asking mage-related questions.

But that only served to impress him even more. With mage busy cultivating, how could they possibly know about everything in the world?

Sage Khun could answer any question threw at him with ease. This could only mean one thing. Not only he had much comprehension regarding magic cultivation, but he was also very knowledgeable about other subjects.

At first, he was not sure if he was allowed to send any questions to him or not. He only knew it was when only sage Khun said that he was going to accept one last question from those who hadn’t asked yet.

He probably talked about me.

He knew that there was someone that hadn’t asked a question—yet. He knew that and probably want Wilson to come out.

While listening to others’ questions, Wilson already knew how to operate this device already. This artifact seemed complex yet it was, actually, easy to operate. It used touch and voice to control which was very intuitive and elegant.

After he sent the question through the “form”, sage Khun read it and almost immediately asked him for more questions. This couldn’t help but make Wilson slightly hopeful. He got into the chatroom and choose a username: SealedFate randomly. And after reminiscing for a bit, he conveyed all his frustration for the past months to this sage.

Sage Khun read his story expressionlessly for some time, only about 5 minutes did the sage finally sighed and continued.

“I have come to understand your condition now.” Sage Khun said, his voice cool.

“Is that so, sage?” Wilson asked hopefully “Is there any way for me to resolve it?”

“There is a way indeed but it is a very difficult one.” said the sage while he shook his head slightly. “This would probably be one of the most challenging events in your life yet.”

“Please tell me, sage. I am not afraid of hardship.” Wilson answered resolutely. As a knight, how could back down from some difficulty?

“Let’s start by clarified your problem first.” Sage Khun nodded once at his answer but he didn’t continue with the way to solve his issue immediately.

“Yes, sage.” Wilson nodded at the sage answered. He was also quite curious about his situation that had been plaguing him for months.

“So, when you used to bandage of suppression of yours, the bandage still couldn’t stop the urge completely. Is that right?”

“Yes. That is correct, sage.” Wilson nodded at his question, even though the one who asked couldn’t possibly see it. While he was slightly confused about where this question would be heading, he still answered it truthfully.

“But from your story, I saw that you only include a couple of conditions that your urge had increase, isn’t it?”

“That is… right?” Wilson was actually unsure if that was the truth or not. He then began to think back to his experience in the past months, to find out when his urge was actually increasing. But before he could answer, sage Khun answered it for him instead.

“The first one was when you had your homeroom.”

“I… That’s right!” exclaimed the boy. He couldn’t believe that he actually missed such important information. He couldn’t help but looked at the avatar in the tablet in awe.

“The other condition was when you were receiving some help from your homeroom teacher. You said that your condition was worsening instead.”

“That’s also right…” Wilson murmured absentmindedly.

“But that didn’t happen at all when you tried something by yourself, right?” sage Khun continued impassively.

“That’s… right…, sage…” Wilson replied.

“You also said that your problem started this year, right?”

“Yes...” Wilson answered but he was actually very distracted right now. He was currently trying to process all the sage Khun’s words.

Wilson could vaguely feel where all of these questions would head and his blood turned cold. He couldn’t believe it, but he couldn’t find anything to refuse sage Khun’s reasoning at all.

“It was this time that your teacher got hired to teach in your school, right?”

“That’s…!”

“And your classroom was where your homeroom teacher is currently overseeing.”

“I…I...!”

Sage Khun’s reasoning was like a knife. They cut straight into the matter, dissecting all the lies that were concealing the truth.

He felt as if the world had turned upside down instantly!

“So… So… My curse… was…placed by my teacher…?” Wilson tried to form a word, but he was simply too shocked to do anything right now.

He thought back to Elnora, his homeroom teacher. She was very beautiful and kind. He couldn’t believe that she was actually capable of any of this at all!

But sage Khun’s reasoning was simply too irrefutable!

Wilson couldn’t help but felt impressed with the wisdom of the man in the tablet. It was as if he was seeing the whole truth just by listening to his words alone.

“G...Great sage… Is it the truth?”

Sage Khun didn’t respond to his question immediately. He only shook his head slightly once before he continued.

“Sometimes, the truth is simply unbearable, isn’t it? But that is what life is.” said the sage, his voice cool.
