Where am I... How long have I been out?

" Three days, little dragon." !!! It's the voice of the white-robed guy...

" Correct! Absolutely Correct, though I believe I haven't told you who am I yet huh, I am the pope of the Human Kingdom, names are not needed as you don't even have the time to remember it." the pope said. 

Wait wheres Marco, he was with that guy when I last saw him!

" What did you do to Marco!" I yelled.

" Such a courageous dragon huh, well too bad! That friend of yours, he is probably dead now, being torn apart by the fishes in the sea! It is a shame that you cannot watch it happen because we have better plans for you!" the pope said.

Wait... what do you mean... what plans... 

" Why not try opening your eyes little dragon." the pope said.

When I opened my eyes, what I saw scared me a lot. In front of me... is myself...

" Is that me?" I asked.

" Well of course it's you, this is a mirror after all. A mirror reflects what's in front of it after all." This pope... just what have he done to me. 

I can see myself being hanged on top of a metal plate... ropes on both of my armpits holding me up. This time... not only my legs are cut off, but even half of my arms too.

" Of course I'm going to cut your arms off. Can't let you have any chance to hurt me after all. I want to play with you for a very very long time after all. Plus, your scales are really useful resources. The humans here need your scales to make strong armors. I can't wait until they reached the cursed continent and captured all of your friends and brought them here. I wonder how will you feel if you saw the decapacitated heads of all of your friends huh?" the pope said why laughing.

My friends are going to die because of me? No... that cant be...

" Of course it can little dragon. With dragon scales, even the mightiest gun you ever had on earth would not be able to pierce through it. Though if they developed a nuke that would be bad. It would cook the person inside alive after all. But I am sure that they wouldn't be as stupid as to use something like a nuke, they love this planet too much. And I will use that point to crush them. While you, my little dragon, will be one of my pieces to achieve that." He said while he went ahead to grab some sort of clippers? 

" Don't worry, before you can't really feel pain right? That's why they can remove your scales without you making too much of a fuss. But this time, I wanted you to suffer, so I made sure that you can feel pain, a lot of pain." the pope said again.

" Don't worry, it won't be fast. I will make sure that I will do it as slowly as possible." ...

Nooo... please no...

" Oh yes little dragon, let me listen to more of those voices," he said as he starts to descale me...

IT HURTS!!!

" Of course it hurts. I said that I will make sure that you will feel the pain, didn't I? Of course, it would hurt."

It hurts!!! A lot!!!!

" Come on, it's just one single scale. We still have many left!" he said as he continues to get my scales. One by one...

By the time it reached 20 or so, I'm already at my limit... I cant...

Pope's POV

Tsk... this filth can't even handle this much. Did I adjust the pain enhance too high? It's not fun for it to only be so short, what I wanted is for her to have nice, long-suffering, not one that is so short! Guess I'll reduce the multiplier so she can hold on longer then. Whatever, I'll just quickly handle the scales and then get out of here. This place stinks the blood from that filth.

When I walked out of the dungeon, what welcomes me is just a plain old castle that looks poor and lacks maintenance. 

" The humans in this world are too far behind in literally everything. The only thing that is worthy of praise is how devout they are to their god. Which doesn't even exist in this world. Poor humans in this world." I said.

Suddenly I felt a cold wind on my back...

It seems that those gods have started to investigate me huh... I can't stay in this body for too long or they will find me... 

Dear pope, it seems that you will soon regain your own body! Congratulations on that! But too bad, there will be a little dragon that will be happy to devour you alive! But rejoice, if it's that girl, you won't feel the pain as it happens cause it will be fast! 

Now, before I leave your body, I need to make sure that I prepared another body in time, and set it up so I could get in power and get close soon. Didn't that stupid king have quite the idiot son? I believe that would make a good candidate. Don't worry now, I will make sure you will continue to suffer little dragon.

Don't think those gods would be able to save you soon, they will surely come to hunt me first rather than save you, I'm quite sure of this protocol of theirs. Your suffering won't be the last.

" And this is why I told you guys to decide faster. Time in the reincarnation realm might be slower than usual, but it is another god we are dealing with!" God A.

" Now that he fled the reincarnation realm, it will be hard to locate him, there are too many worlds that he could have hide in with and it would take years to fully search them all." other gods.

" Go to the world Astrea. The logs showed that the overdue human has been reincarnated to that world forcefully. So I think that there is a high chance that he would go to that very same world. Or better, let me handle this. I reincarnated a couple of people into that world before, so with some negotiations with the local gods I should be able to interfere a bit in that world." God A.

" Well then, we believe in you, you are one of the eldest gods among us after all. Still don't know why you still want to take this boring job and not enjoy in utopia though." other god.

" I actually went to enjoy there for a few centuries and got bored. So I came back here to see what humans would do. " God A.

" So you guys good luck while I handle our stray god again. Don't mess up this time ok?" God A

" Hey we all here at least worked for a few centuries already what do you think us of." other gods.

" To me, you are all still little kids ahahahah and that stray is even a baby!" God A.

God A's POV

So it seems the poor lad though reincarnated to his favorite race, is being treated rather poorly. Now, where is that stray...

That stray... he possessed a human of this world... great more work to do...
