“Do you think it had to do with Clementine’s party? He started acting strange around that time then he turned to full out running.” Sara frowned pointing her finger through the birdcage, the canary only tilted its her at her words.

“Something must have happened but what?”

“Did you ask Kade?”

“Of course I did. But he’s in the dark as well. Magic’s finally working but that makes getting answers harder now. If it worked like it was supposed to we wouldn’t have this mess.”

“What took so long for it to work?” He hopped from his perched, moving closer to get a better look at her worried face.

“I don’t know.”

“Another witch? A warlock? Maybe another hunter did something? It couldn’t have been something natural.”

“We’ll be in trouble if that was true,” She turned away to the window, watching the heavy rainfall “I hope it won’t be too much trouble.”
