People were acting stranger. Some looked different, sounds of the unexplainable were buzzing in peoples’ ears. Things were disappearing and others were unrecognizable at first glance. The everyday life of Charlotte Coast wasn’t the same even if most couldn’t tell what was different. 

It was setting Sara’s already frayed nerves on fire. She couldn’t relax, worse now than it was the last few months. It felt like she was falling apart and everything around her was following suit. Something was wrong and it was getting worse, fuck what Campbell said, nothing was right! She was going raving mad, insane, crazy, she felt like she was spiralling. Despair made a home of her chest, dread turned the marrow in her bones to lead, and terror stared back at her in her reflections.
