"... and now something completely different"

Ah, Monty Python gags are just the best. Ok, this isn´t really a necessary part of the story. Just something to laugh about.

I had planned a VSS with Monty Python jokes since the beginning, and after @Cytotoxin beat me to it I would like to follow up now. Riposte!

So while I have no sense of humor at all, you may not appreciate. No problem, I have still fun torturing you. And just so you know, humor is a very serious matter! One does not joke about it.

At the moment, I´m stockpiling some SS and VSS until the next chapter is ready. Because it would be like cliffhanger and spoiler if I let it go online one by one and with time gap. Not my thing. But progress is very good. Expect my "release" Monday or Tuesday.

Always remember that "the last laugh is on you".

A German entering the country at the border.
The border guard asks: What is the reason for your entry and occupation?
The German answers bashfully: I'm sorry, just visiting.
The origin of this yoke is not funny 1This joke is at least 30 years old, my father heared it from an old french custom officer. Until today I don´t know for sure if he just insulted us. Nevertheless, it´s funny.

No idea why someone thinks the Germans have a fine kind of black humor. The German tax authorities call their IT program for tax returns ELSTER and the federal authority for refugees their software for registration EASY? That´s funny?
The origin of "Where's the joke in that?" is not funny at all 2Amazing at first glance, but German officials have a sense of humor. Very deadpan humor.
ELSTER stands for magpie, and taking a thieving bird as a namesake for the tax return is indeed kind of cool.
Official recognition as a refugee in Germany is anything but easy. Let´s say - living hell?

According to rumors, the Germans are the only people who invented a deadly joke during the World War. That´s just british propaganda. Let me tell you, the Germans weren´t amused about that slander.  Inventor of the deadly joke was an Englishman, his name was Ernest Scribbler. A fact everybody can check for themself.
After the war, joke warfare was outlawed in the Geneva Confection. However, the last documented use was in the BREXIT wars by a british representative and ended with his much noted phrase: "The war is over."
It must be said that German people sat in front of their "Volksempfängern" stunned and irritated.
Renowned scientists suspect that the Germans' inability to be funny is a late consequence of the disastrous use of war jokes.
So far there is no evidence that the Prime Minister has said, " Folks, folks, this was all a joke. We´re just kidding, good grief.  Now calm down so we can finish discussing how much less the British Empire has to pay the EU."
The origin is dedicated "to the unknown joke"
